Fighting in the Arena: Preliminaries

"Shedding is harder, right?" ask Ashley. Well, even though the question sounds stupid because everyone knows the answer.

"Well," replied Charlotte.

Ashley and Charlotte went to practice. They had to train more for the preliminary round in order not to lose. At least strengthen the defense magic so as not to die.

"Foolish weapon" said Charlotte. His crystal sword did not absorb his magic which made the sword more like an ordinary sword.

"You are stupid. Obviously you're turning on hibernation mode" Ashley replied.

Note: Hibernation mode is a mode that keeps the sword soul like sleeping and does not cast and absorb magic. This mode is commonly used to rest the sword and re-collect energy.

Charlotte checked her sword. It was true what Ashley said. He accidentally switched on hibernation mode. Charlotte just deactivated that mode while scratching her head.

"Good good thing it's just the two of us here." Ashley exhaled. Maybe Charlotte doesn't know where to put her face if anyone sees her.

"Hehe."

After her sword soul woke up, Charlotte put magic into it. He attacked Ashley who immediately responded by making a shield. The shield was broken by Charlotte. He stopped immediately before hitting Ashley.

"It looks like there's an improvement" Charlotte said complacently.

"Maybe I should train the shield" Ashley said.

"First match! Lucia Loti Aiden vs Charlotte Cherry Aiden!"

Lucia and Charlotte enter the arena. They swore in each other's hearts because they had to fight their twin. Of course there is a little bit of a no-brainer. But as the game is called, there must be a winner.

"Start!"

Lucia attacked wildly. He was fiery and did not want to lose to Charlotte again. He couldn't let his family think Charlotte was better. Lucia has to prove that Charlotte wasn't always better than him.

Charlotte didn't let herself off guard. He held back Lucia's attack while trying to find a gap. When a gap was seen, Charlotte immediately attacked.

Lucia wasn't as stupid as she thought. Lucia immediately locked Charlotte's position and attacked her in a row. Of course Charlotte fell.

"Winner Lucia Loti Aiden!"

Lucia jumped up in excitement. He doesn't care much about the medical team rushing to get Charlotte to the UKS.

"I finally won," Lucia cheered inwardly. He didn't say it blatantly because he didn't want to look tacky. Lucia exited the arena with great pleasure.

Why did George come? Because George is actually a student of this school. He hasn't been to school since his mother disappeared, but his official letter hasn't been taken care of, so George is still considered a student of this school.

"I have to win" George said.

George entered the arena along with his opponent. He will fight Brandon Al Nier who has the power of water and fire.

"Start!"

George attacked savagely. He has to win. Now there is only Georgia on his mind and he keeps motivating himself. Even though he had to die, George was determined to win and use the prize money to heal Georgia and make their lives more prosperous. Because the main purpose of George's life was to make Georgia happy.

Brandon is overwhelmed with George. But he quickly reversed the situation. Brandon locked George in a big water bubble. George tried to get out, but the water bubble was hard to break.

Brandon attacked George with fire. Of course George burned inside and was charred if not relying on his water magic to make a defense even though thin.

"I CAN'T LOSE!"

With that determination, George unleashed all his strength. He extinguished Brandon's fire and broke the water bubble with a single monster-like punch. Even George's two hands have claws now. His eyes were red and looked like a beast.

As everyone was confused by the unusual change, George attacked Brandon without further ado. He had ripped Brandon's hand off if Brandon hadn't dodged it, even though George's claws had slashed a bit of his skin. The scar is bleeding.

George felt very lustful to attack people now. He attacked Brandon once more and now Brandon was completely knocked down with some scratches on his body.

"Winner George Alberto!"

George was back to being as he was. His eyes were no longer red and both of his claws disappeared. George looked dazed and somewhat confused as to what was happening. When he saw Brandon who was quickly brought by the medical team, then George realized that he won.

"Georgia.." said George softly, "I won."

Even Letticia who saw George's appearance was surprised. How could he change until it was like that? Even Letticia herself had never heard of this.

"I've heard it," Irene said, making Letticia, Robins, and Nalie's attention on her.

"What's up, Miss?" ask Letticia.

"This ability to transform into a human or semi-animal body belongs to only a few ancient tribes" explains Irene, "I think George belongs to the wolf tribe, one of the strongest among the ancient tribes."

"What?!"

Fun fact: Parlet Arena is divided into two, female section area and male section area. These two areas were separated by high walls that were impenetrable to sight and difficult to destroy. The special audience place was above the wall, so it could see both areas.
