Husband For Keara

Husband For Keara
I'm yours

"M-father?" mummified Keara lirih. Her tears could no longer be held back. Wipe down her smooth cheeks.

He already guessed. Although the memory of his father, very minimal. He doesn't even remember anything about his father. He left her when she was very young. There are no good memories he can remember. Only suffering and debts accumulate left by the father to his mother, making Keara hate the figure of the biological father who was never really known.

"Sit down, K.. We talked together." Mom pulled Keara's arm gently.

Harris loosened his embrace. He knew enough himself not to get too involved in the internal affairs of the Kearas. "Then, excuse me....."

Harris did not continue his sentence as Keara clasped his hands tightly and stared with a glare in my eyes. The look in the eye hinted that the girl was forbidding Harris from leaving.

"Son Harris here is fine." said Mom. It was as if he heard the unspoken desire of Keara. "Again, Nak Harris will soon be married to Keara. Will be part of this family too."

Keara pulled out Harris' weak hand and gave him a seat beside her. Mother and father also sat down, with positions far apart.

"So my son is getting married soon..?" I talk while smiling. A smile that was responded to with a sour face of the entire person in front of him.

"Alhamdulillah.. You're on time."

Keara glanced at her mother who kept turning her face away. Never looked at my father. How not, the figure who was never again talked about, what else was missed, suddenly reappeared and acted friendly as if nothing had happened.

Legally, of course, the mother and father are still bound by the status of husband and wife. Although they are religiously automatically divorced because of the absence of a living born inner given in a long period of time.

"Mr back.. Because you think your beautiful daughter is the time to need a father to be her marriage guardian.. You are not dead and still healthy, so you think you should fulfill your duty to marry you. Well yeah.. Despite abandoning you all this time, but this father is still your biological father..."

Keara saw the old man who claimed to be her father. "You don't have to come. We all believe that my father is dead. Now that just appeared, you know you want to immediately become my marriage guardian.. It's my job so lightly.."

"Keara.." scolded the mother in a raucous voice.

Harris also just*mas Keara's shoulder. Trying to calm the girl. Keara was obviously angry and did not accept the presence of her biological father. There are no good memories that he remembers with his father. All that was embedded in his brain was how the suffering of his mother and brother who had to work very hard to support him and also to pay off his father's debts.

And all the hardships of his childhood little by little knit the seeds of hatred against his father. No longer want his presence.

"Well, what father would come here again?" this time Arman asked.

"Father doesn't want anything Arman.. This is all you can love." He placed a rather large black plastic bag on the table. "This is the result of your hard work so far. You know this is nothing compared to the debts you owe you. But hopefully a little can make up for your mistakes.."

"We do not need the presence of the father and the father's money." ketus Keara.

"K.." mother shook her head weakly towards Keara. Cueing for Keara not to speak rude anymore.

Harris again only tightened his grip on the girl.

"Arman also does not agree that you will return to this house again." said Mas Arman.

"Of course it won't, mas.." said the mother. "Mother and father are considered divorced according to religious law. No longer be able to live in the house.. It is your father's duty to support us. But your blood bond with your father cannot be broken. So respect him no matter what the war is.."

"Good indeed.. " Keara stomped while standing up straight away. "We don't have to interact. You just need to be my marriage guardian for another month.. Then please go back to your own life."

Keara immediately went into the room. Harris looked at mom, and mom nodded. Signalling he allowed Harris to follow Keara into the room.

Harris went into Keara's room. The girl sat cross-legged on the bed with a pillow placed on her thighs. Harris approached and sat down on the edge of the bed near the girl.

"I know you're angry.. But isn't the presence of your father better than you keep wondering how your father is doing?" harris opened the conversation.

Keara looked at him sourly. The man in front of him is very different in his eyes compared to when he was in the living room with the father earlier. Harris was staring very hard at me. His expression was loud as if it was very caring for Keara and also felt anger raging in Keara's chest.

Harris laughed. "Hey.. Don't think I'm siding with your father and putting your feelings aside.." Harris pulled the tip of Keara's nose. Keara snorted in annoyance at her making.

"This Harris can read people's minds?"

Harris just slicked his shoulders. "That's right, my words are.."

Keara. He muttered softly, "But I really don't like the father coming back to this house..."

"I know, baby.." Harris grabbed Keara's fingers and played them softly.

"But can you take this as an easy road for our marriage? If only your father had not returned, and we had married Arman as his regent, our marriage could have been illegitimate and ungodly because your real father was still alive.."

Keara stared at the man in front of her. "Mas Harris was right, too.. But I was still uncomfortable and not used to it. All this time I thought my father was dead, but suddenly he came. That's weird, mas..."

"Yes, I know, baby.. I know." said Harris. "Hopefully he returned because he really regretted his actions. Pray dear, leave everything to God.."

"Yes, mas.. Thanks ya.. Mas Harris doesn't mind my family.."

"What's that talk, baby? I'm much worse than you.." Harris pulled Keara's head to be held in her chest. Gently rubbed the girl's hair while kissing her.

"I should be thanking you...."

Harris remained silent. Not continuing the sentence. His net was fixated on something that was on top of Keara's bedside nightstand. He then put on a thin smile.

Keara who noticed Harris change, followed the direction of the man's gaze. The gaze was fixed onto a small photo pigora tucked away above the nightstand. A photo with Rizky. Keara stuck out her hand to cover the photo by dropping it forward.

"Ehmm sorry.", said Keara.

"Why baby? No need to shut down, and no need to apologize either..." Harris pulled Keara back in her arms.

"I've seen such photos in Rizky's room a lot..."

"Mas Harris ain't mad, I'm still getting pictures of the ex..?"

"Engga.. Your ex is not there either.. I won't be able to take you away from me.." Harris chuckled small. Then take a deep breath.

"It is precisely I who am ashamed of Rizky, for I am the one who seized her bride-to-be.."

"I asked her for permission after I first kissed you, but she hasn't given me a sign or a gesture.. Whether he's allowed it or not."

Keara did not answer. He drowned deeper in the chest of his male field. His hands clenched tighter behind Harris's back. As if giving an answer that 'I'm yours now..'. Make Harris' heart slowly flowed by the warm sighs that melted.
