Chaptre 84. Patience, Love!

Roy is still struggling with his work even though time has shown seven o'clock at night. Ben interrupts Roy's activities that seem to be looking for an escape since his breakup with Lian. Even Ben doesn't know if Roy and Lian's farewell is just a charade. They both keep this secret only for them and the people closest to them.

"Didn't you go home? It's seven o'clock in the night. Usually you come home at six."

Lian headed to the kitchen and cooked something simple for them to eat together.

Roy went out of the room and watched television.

"Mas, have dinner!"

"Bring it here. I want to eat here."

They both ate while watching the show on television. They talk about a lot of things to pass the time.

"God! It's 10 p.m. I have to go home, Mommy." Lian Seru.

"Can't you stay here?" pinta Roy with a face made as clear as possible.

"Dad and Mom would be suspicious if I didn't go home. Sorry yes!" Lian was very sorry.

Roy breathed a rough breath.

"Yes, okay. How long are we gonna be like this?" Roy rubbed his face.

"Patience, Mother. We can definitely get through this." Lian's inner while stroking Roy's arm.

"Oh yeah, tomorrow night there's Amira's seven-monthly event. Are you coming?" ask Roy.

Ben invited several people he knew to be present at his wife's seven-monthly event. Ben was very excited to welcome the birth of his first child.

When he meets Esther, Ben greets her.

"Miss Esther, you can come too." Ben handed over an invitation to Esther.

"Ah, yes. Thank you." reply Esther.

Esther smiled a grin as she stared at the invitation.

"I'm sure Roy will come. Then I should come too" Esther murmured.

Guests begin to arrive and are greeted by Ben. This time the party is a garden party.

Ben continued to smile happily as he greeted each of his guests.

Esther comes alone and immediately searches for Roy's whereabouts. The net was on one man who was alone at the corner table.

Esther thinks Roy's life is very lonely after parting ways with Lian. Especially now Lian even works with Julian who incidentally is Roy's brother.
