Surprised by Mother Dev

As Dev had said before to Usman, he went home to the main house after delivering Aleena.

Ray langsung memintanya masuk ke dalam ruangan.

Terlihat Aleena yang masuk dengan beberapa dokumen ditangannya.

"Pak Ray, saya membawakan beberapa dokumen dari bagian perencanaan. Semoga ini bisa membantu pak Direktur memahami beberapa proyek yang dimiliki perusahaan".

Aleena bicara dengan elegan dan tenang.

"Terima kasih Bu Aleen. Harusnya Bu Aleen tidak perlu repot-repot sampai mengantarkannya sendiri pada saya. Ibu bisa meminta sekretaris Ibu untuk melakukannya".

Ray pun menanggapi dengan sopan sikap Aleena.

"Tidak papa. Saya sekalian kemari setelah dari bagian keuangan. Kalau begitu saya pergi dulu"

"Baik, Bu. Sekali lagi terima kasih"

Aleena hanya mengangguk dengan senyum tipis kemudian beranjak pergi dari hadapan Ray.

Bagaimana reaksinya setelah tahu tentang pak Dev nanti? Aku jadi tidak sabar melihatnya.

Sore harinya, Dev kembali menjemput Aleena setelah jam pulang kerja. Dia menunggu diparkiran sampai Aleena datang.

"Hai. Apa kamu sudah menunggu lama?".

Aleena menyapa Dev dengan senyum begitu dia masuk ke dalam mobil.

"Tidak terlalu lama. Kita berangkat sekarang?"

Dev kembali berkendara setelah Aleena menganggukkan kepala. Dari kejauhan terlihat Ray yang sedang memperhatikan mobil Dev.

"Apa kamu ingin makan sesuatu?".

Dev bertanya disela-sela mengemudinya.

"No. Eat at home. Auntie must have cooked for us".

Aleen shook his head in response to Dev's invitation.

"alright. We're going straight home".

"Dev, did you meet your family?", asked Aleena with a curious look on her face.

"Yes, I went home to the main house. Why?"

Dev asked Aleena. He occasionally turned to Aleena while driving.

"Uhm... about our wedding plan... What if your parents disagree?I'm just an adopted son of the Prasetyo family. Can your parents accept me?"

Aleena revealed a little about her doubts to Dev.
