Chapters 34. The Ace of Hearts

Successfully avoiding the three goats and the troll does not mean Tenn is safe. He still had to be stuck with the yandere who was currently smiling to himself.

“That's amazing once~their bodies instantly crumble and fall apart. I can imagine them starting to become unrecognizable. Ahahaha.”

“What? Who do you mean?”

“That little boy named Hansel and Gretel. They died silly with crushed bodies trampled on by goats. Ahahaha, funny right?”

“...” Tenn just kept quiet without retaliating.

Inside the cave, he felt that at least all of the invited beings had left. Tenn took out the card he got.

“Finally just one more.”

“Alice?” Code Name: Mad Hatter approached Tenn and looked at all the cards he had. “Huwaa, you've almost got everything. Alice is great, amazing!”

“Try to see what you have.”

“Before.” without the slightest hesitation, the young man pulled out his card. “Hmm? It's the same suit you have. It's so exactly the same again.” he said.

“How about the “Spades” suit you have?”

Code Name: Mad Hatter takes out the card he already had at the beginning. Quite surprising because apparently the yandere youth had almost collected all his parts.

“What is this? Almost everything he already has except ‘King of Spades”, pretty well.” Tenn muttered in heart.

It seemed that Code Name: Mad Hatter was not interested in the two clondike cards in his hand so he easily threw them to the ground.

“Strash.” said casually.

Then he came out of the cave to make sure things were going. Tenn only looked at the two cards thrown into the ground expressionlessly and stared at the cards in his hand.

“Tarzan's system says that other cards can be used as exchange material with other players. But here, everyone is the enemy.”

“Despite how we will utilize these cards to take advantage of other players, it is still a hassle if it comes to engaging with other players.”

“I myself was fed up with the Hatter and had to kill him. But considering too little useful magic that I've got makes things difficult.”

While thinking and putting all his cards in his pants pocket, Tenn picked up his still-wearable phone to open the notes in his folder.

There is a list of magic that can be used and its total use.

The magic that could still be used by him once again was only aura-busting magic and magic that could be freely worn was demon eye and lie detector. The rest is physical strengthening magic and moving speed.

In other words, everything was almost magic for beginners in his former world.

From the direction of the cave mouth, Code Name: Mad Hatter called out.

Tenn walked over while putting his phone in his pants pocket. He approached the young man and saw where his eyes were headed.

“What did you find?”

“Someone is swaying there. After those big goats and trolls passed through here, there were only those big footprints. Around here too many trees have fallen. But over there like there's something.”

Tenn watched behind the bushes designated by Code Name: Mad Hatter.

There seemed to be nothing to notice, but there seemed to be someone hiding there.

Tenn activated his demon eye ability to pay attention to what was there.

“Zombie yes. But why not attack us?” thought.

Code Name: Mad Hatter looked at Tenn with a big smile and a happy expression. “I want to see it, ehehe~”

“There could be zombies.”

“Then so much better.”

“Beach yourself if you die yes.”

It seemed that the young man preferred fighting against the dead over the pity of life.

He did not take long to run there and jump into the bushes. When Code Name: Mad Hatter came in, there was no sound.

Tenn did not care about the young man at all and shook his head then left from there.

In place of Code Name: Mad Hatter, he saw a zombie that could still move after its body split in two.

The waist to his feet were separated, but the head to the stomach was fused so that he could still crawl with his hands.

His lower jaw was gone so no sound came out of it. His tongue was sticking out long and blood was still dripping.

As the young man took a closer look, he noticed that there was something on his neck. A card. The klondike card is still unknown type and his system cannot tell what type of card and suit it is.

The only way is to kill him.

There are no weapons there and Code Name: Mad Hatter himself has never fought a zombie as far as he can tell.

The ability of the user is used. About 3 meters, the area turned into a flower garden with a lot of giant plants. The sweet aroma returned and a giant cake was on his left and right sides.

The lower body of the zombie had already turned into a small chair, but the upper body that crawled closer to the young man was still intact.

A large plant appeared before him.

The plant emits a large whip that is exactly like the weapon that decapitated Code Name: Tarzan earlier. The zombie head turned into a blackforest cake and its body turned into a gigantic mushroom as tall as itself.

From the top of the mushroom, came out a card that from the beginning was on the body of the zombie. When Code Name: Mad Hatter picked it up, his eyes widened and with an annoyed face he scrunched his forehead.

“Ace...of..Hearts...”.

He remembered that the “Hearts” suits clondike card in Tenn was almost complete and only the “Ace of Hearts” card he did not have.

"Kh.." his expression instantly turned ghastly.

“If Alice gets this, she'll be out of the game and I can't find the character of Alice in Wonderland anymore with her.”

“I won't let that happen. I won't let Alice go first.”

“Alice and I just became a team. He won't get it. Never will I let him get these last suits so easily.”

Code Name: Mad Hatter changed the place back to being available and before he left the place, he did not forget to do a very good thing which was to discard the card he had just got.

“Alice will be with me for a while. If you have to finish this game, at least he and I have to finish it together.”

The young man left the card on the ground and went to return to Tenn's place, although by the time he arrived, Tenn was no longer at the mouth of the cave.
