CHAPTER 59 | Meet in Star City

“Then what happened to the sect head of the King's Tomb?” muttered Baihu next. They then went to investigate the entire room in the sect residence of the King's Tomb but found no secret room there.

The King Tomb Sect was not a famous sect but had many disciples, and the disciples lived inside the cave which was their training ground. This King's Tomb residence was for the burial of the previous sect heads as well as the residence of the sect head and a place to receive guests.

While they have 4 Caves for training like in the Sun Moon sect, here the disciples live in caves called Cave Master, Cave Spirit, Sacred Cave, and Cave of elders.

Their location was not too far from the King's Tomb Residence, so any incident was always within the monitoring of their sect head. Only the sect prison cave was located a bit far from their surroundings.

After touring the sect residence and not finding the secret room, they suddenly saw a black shadow in front of them. Baihu and Yang Zi were surprised to see him. They then put on a mask and chased after the black shadow.

Finally they managed to chase the black shadow at the foot of the hill of the King's Tomb.

“Stop!” baihu shouted that directly blocked the black-clothed person. While Yang Zi was blocking behind him.

Seeing that his path was blocked by Baihu, that person immediately attacked him, it seemed that the strength of that person was not weak. He was already at the cultivation level of the early stage God realm balanced with Yang Zi who was also at the early stage God realm.

But Baihu was not his opponent, Baihu attempted to unmask the black-clothed figure. Looking at his high-scientific opponent, the black-clothed figure then exerted the Frozen Moon stance he possessed.

Yang Zi also took out his Sky Sword stance while Baihu took out the Sun and Moon ranks. The eyes of the black shadow figure twitched after realizing their opponent was from the Sun Moon and Sky Sword sects.

He then stopped his nurse and started to unmask her, “Sorry for this misunderstanding. I'm Li Yan from the Ice Moon sect as he saluted

“Li Yan!” baihu shouted as she undressed her mask as well

Li Yan narrowed his eyes when he saw the figure was Baihu, “Ka-you?”

He could not believe that he could meet Baihu again in this place, “What are you doing here?” li Yan asked after seeing Yang Zi also unmasked her.

“We are investigating the sect residence of Raja” Tomb, Baihu said

Li Yan sighed, “I did the same. I am suspicious of the King's Tomb sect because I found a clue to the whereabouts of the previous sect master located in one of their caves” Li Yan continued

“I have researched the prison cave that has spread the news. I don't know who did that. But now I know it must be you Baihu” guess Li Yan

Baihu's eyes twitched hearing Li Yan's guess which was indeed not wrong. “Then what did you find?” tanya Baihu then

“You know, the head of our Ice Moon sect has mastered the Frozen Moon's peak style. The chairman of my sect can freeze anything and that frozen can last for years” Li Yan said

“When I investigated the prison cave, I found a needle that was frozen in the Frozen Moon's pinnacle style by our sect leader. So I thought, our sect leader was once inside the prison” Li Yan continued.

Baihu smiled at the thought of an explanation from Li Yan, “The Ice Moon sect chief is indeed smart. He can leave such a clue to tell his students” muttered Baihu.

“Nona Li, then what will you do now?” ask Yang Zi then

“Nona Yang, I intend to re-investigate the existing caves belonging to the sect of the Tomb of King” Li Yan said.

Baihu stood up while walking closer to Li Yan, “You don't need to do that. Our friends have already investigated the caves” Baihu said

Li Yan's beautiful face was radiant as soon as she heard Baihu.”'s wordsAlright. Then where are you going next?” tanyakanya.

“We better go back to the countryside to find a place to rest while waiting for our friends to get a hint” Baihu said.

Finally they returned to the countryside and looked for a place to rest. They also found an abandoned place on the outskirts of the village.

After taking off their disguises, they rested because the night was late. But Baihu seemed still agitated at the thought of the residence of the King's Tomb.

“Looks like we're heading back to a dead end. I'd better go back to where I was and investigate. Maybe I can find another clue left behind by the sect heads?” mummy Baihu.

Meanwhile in the early hours of the morning in the port city of Bintang, Wang Mei had arrived by sailing ship. He immediately found a place to rest first.

Wang Mei then booked a room in Bintang city, but while ordering a room, the corner of her eyes saw a familiar figure talking to someone in the corner of the food stall.

“Zhang Mou? Why is he here too?” Wang Mei's eyes were shocked. He had not expected to even meet Zhang Mou in Star City. He turned his body and immediately went from the spot to the room he had been in.

When he entered his room Wang Mei faintly heard Zhang Mou's voice speaking outside the room. “Have you told Chen Guo that we will meet him?” zhang Mou asked as he walked towards his room.

“Already young master. They said they would meet you at the scene first before speaking at the sect residence of King”'s Tomb said Zhang Mou's subordinate.

“Good. Tomorrow morning we go to the cave” said Zhang Mou then they went into their respective rooms.

“Chen Guo? Looks like I've heard that name” Wang Mei muttered in her heart.

Wang Mei frowned at the thought of the name. Suddenly his eyes glared after remembering her. “Chen Guo was the one who was defeated by Zhang Mou in the final of the inter-sect martial arts match 7 years ago” Wang Mei started to remember that person because back then she was also defeated by him.

“What is Chen Guo and Zhang Mou's relationship?” thought Wang Mei while laying her body to rest after being exhausted on the way in the waters.

Meanwhile Xin Ye and Mu Lin had managed to enter and inspect the master cave and spirit cave belonging to the King Tomb sect. They did not find any clues in the cave.

“Miss Xin, we should go back first to draw up the next plan” Mu Lin whispered to Xin Ye.

“All the servants gathered” suddenly a guard called all the servants who were in that place. Xin Ye and Mu Lin were forced to follow them and gather inside the spirit cave.

“Tomorrow the Crown Prince will pay a visit to the prison cave, we must immediately go ahead to clean up and prepare for their arrival as special guests. All the servants are preparing to leave there” orders a guard leader.
