ARYA MAHESA

ARYA MAHESA
ARYA

3343 Years after the great war.

Barula Bay. The name of the village in the Eastern Land of Swarna kingdom. This village did not get much attention from the kingdom, because of the distance of its territory that is far from the center of government. Residents here live only by relying on their crops and livestock.

In the afternoon, the village hall is always crowded. There is a gathering place for children from all villagers. If they are not helping their parents, they will spend time studying. Either studying martial arts or other basic science.

A young boy appears to be seriously reading a worn out book in a field-side saung being used for martial arts training by other children. The other boy who had just arrived immediately approached and sat there.

"Arya. you're a man, you should have studied martial arts instead of continuing to read those useless books!"

Arya who was late in her reading was slightly surprised by the sudden voice, with a wry smile she replied in a slightly taut tone. "Sister, you know I don't have a strong body like you. I'll die when I'm told to stand in the field when it's hot like this"

The two stared at a group of children aged between eight and ten who were practicing endurance in the middle of the field.

"You just don't want to train your body. At least, if you want to start now, you will still be acceptable as a guard soldier."

Arya looked back at her brother. "I don't want to work as a soldier, I just want to learn the science of farming. I will open up a large field, so that our family will not be in trouble as it is today."

Actually, Arsa was just trying to comfort her sister. Since birth, Arya has a weak body. While all boys his age had managed to open at least ten chakra points, Arya until now could not open a single chakra point. So, to lift one bucket of water, Arya was very difficult.

"All right, I'll continue my training. Keep reading" After saying that, Arsa rejoins her peers.

Arya stared at the group of boys who were not far above her. Among them, Arya knows that Arsa is the strongest. Arsa has an incredible talent. At the age of 12 years, Arsa has managed to open 60 chakra points. It was already comparable to the strength of a tier 1 basic swordsman. By the time she was 14, Arsa had opened 90 chakras. If Arsa manages to gain the strength of the bronze bone, Arsya is now comparable to a tier 3 basic swordsman. It was an amazing thing for the forgotten remote villagers at the end of this Swarna kingdom.

Arya is sure, one day Arsa will become an advanced swordsman maybe even up to the level of an expert. Regardless, Arya is very proud that Arsa is her sister.

Deep inside Arya's heart, she was a little disappointed by the state of her body that was unable to open even a single chakra point. Even now she was weaker than girls her age.

If Arya is not Arsa's sister, she will definitely be the subject of ridicule from her friends. They know how Arsa loves her sister.

Once one of his friends mocked Arya for not being able to open the chakra point, the boy ended up fainting when one of Arsa's punches landed right in his mouth. Some of the kid's teeth fell out.

As karma, until now the title of toothless is attached to him. Of course other children do not want to have the same fate.

But that disappointment didn't bother him much. At least, in his family there is Arsa to be proud of. In addition, Arya intends to study science to get a slightly better life in the future.

In the present time, martial arts is considered as a benchmark of almost everything. The stronger a person, the more respected he will be and it will be very easy to get a job as an adult.

All of that can only be measured by the number of Cakra points that open to hold power within them. Things Arya doesn't have. Arya learns that her future will be bleak if she follows the path of shortness.

However, if Arya can take the exam in the city of Basaka, there is a possibility that he will be able to get another job in the kingdom as an official or be able to apply for work in places that require correspondence skills and other expertise.

Not far from Arya, there was someone who had heard their conversation since. This person was the one who knew the reason why Arya could not open a single chakra point on her body.

"I wish you never tried to open your chakras again!."

Arya looked at the man. Even though words like this were often heard coming out from the old man, Arya still did not understand why there were people who did not want her to have the least amount of strength at all.

"Ki Cokro, I don't understand why Aki doesn't like it when I have a chakra?" Arya asked a little.

Hearing the warning ki Cokro, Arya bowed. Every time he tried to open the chakra point on his body, then he would instantly fall ill for days because of it. Ki Cokro is the one who always treat it.

Since his arrival to the village of Teluk Barula, residents there have become healers and martial trainers for village children. Because previously ki Cokro claimed to work as a bodyguard of a physician in the city of Basaka. So, the word ki Cokro was not meant to underestimate it.

"I understand" Arya replied.

Ki Cokro, looked at this boy with pity. After all he tried to explain to Arya, right now Arya would not understand. Sometimes he thought his words would make this child lose his confidence. But, this was indeed for his good.

"Thank God you understand" Ki Cokro said with a smile. But suddenly his smile disappeared.

Ki Cokro's gaze was fixed on the old book that Arya was reading. He was sure that the book was not one of the books he had brought to this village. Subconsciously he immediately pulled the book from before Arya to make sure.

Instantly ki Cokro's hand trembled while holding the book. There was not a single word in the book that he could understand.

Ki Cokro was sure, although the book was very thin and small, what was contained in it must have been a copy of part of one of the fragments of the Book of the World.

"Arya, since when did you read this?!"

Arya who was surprised when suddenly Ki Cokro robbed the book she was reading, now felt astonished to see the Cokro who was trembling to see the book.

Arya became nervous seeing ki Cokro who turned into such fear. "Someone gave it to me a few days ago, I've read it a few times. I think even I've memorized the contents" Arya replied honestly.

Arya had no idea what made ki Cokro that way. But, I don't know why he felt guilty about it. Ki Cokro was the one who taught him to read and write. Ki Cokro also gave a lot of books for Arya to read.

Arya's answer made ki Cokro panic. Instantly the hand that held the book let out heat, and soon the air flowed on the book to make it burn to dust.

Arya who had never seen anything like this before was instantly shocked. Arya clearly saw that the fire that burned the book came from the heat of the hands of the Cokro ki. Because of her sluggishness, Arya was at a loss for words. Until suddenly Ki Cokro looked at him sharply.

"Arya, where is your father now?!"

Arya did not answer. He was still shocked by what he had just witnessed.

Seeing Arya who was silent did not answer him, Ki Cokro immediately came to Arsa. He asks Arsa to call his entire family home and wait for him there.

Arsa immediately ran towards the hills where her father's field was.

Some time ago, Ki Cokro did feel that something strange was happening in Barula Bay. Only, he felt that it was just an ordinary natural phenomenon.

A small earthquake should be nothing. But Ki Cokro just realized it. There has never been an earthquake in the bay before.

Ki Cokro returned to the saung where Arya still looked confused. "Arya, tell me what's written in that book?" ki asked Cokro while holding both of the little boy's shoulders.

Arya flinched with the question ki Cokro "A-I ... N-not really understand ... Ta-But ... there is written how to control ... something!, ... Prana" replied arya stammered because she was nervous.

"What?! ... Prana?!"

Arya nodded her head.
