"hoh"

Cody opened his eyes wide, although his surroundings still continued to spin nonstop, his bed was like swaying, a coldness that pierced to the bone.

"akh" he tried to get up, though his hands were trembling, his body was trembling without strength, but he had to make an effort.

"Cody!"

Dian emerged from the door, the room, resembled an operating room, there were several beds not far from her, a black figure standing in the tree of the room with black smoke enveloping her.

"ekh" Cody tried to pull out the infusion needle in his hand, an oxygen hose that might make him weaker, slowly trying to lower his two legs off the top of the black gurney that was prepared for him,

But, Cody was weak, he could not move much, immediately his knees were limp when he touched the cold floor and without being able to control it he fell back.

Dian tried to help her but she couldn't, every grip of hers directly pierced through Cody's body.

"Cody come on, we need to get out before those guys come, come on"

Cody knew that, but he couldn't control everything, his head was heavy.

"akh Dian, find heh seek help, I, can't"

Dian's face was anxious, several times he popped his head out from inside the exit, and approached Cody back.

"Let's Cody, you gotta be strong they're coming again, let's get you out of here!"

Cody tried, he tried to pull his body, however he could not allow himself to die silly without trying.

He managed to pull his body closer to the door, but,

The door opened from the outside.

Cody's breath was exhausted, he tried to look up to see the person, who was slowly lowering his body in front of him, grinning with a sinister face, looking up,

"wow sweet Cody, where are you going?"

That person patted Cody on the cheek slowly, Cody was not strong, the influence of the drug was still very strong, slowly, his head fell back on the floor, right in front of the shiny shoes of the person.

"Rio" Tony approached Rio who was still searching for missing person data on his laptop screen.

Tony put his laptop in front of Rio.

"Look at this, do you think this is Cody? The picture was very vague and the light was also absent, there was only a white shirt, with a slightly limp step"

Rio responded quickly, sliding the laptop screen towards him looking more clearly.

Wrinkled in his eyes looking at the screen with the cctv footage Tony had obtained, the image in the enlarged video was rather blurry due to its standard quality.

"It looks like Iyah's sich Cody, this, where's Ton? It's not like in a hospital"

Tony stands by, though,

"This is the building next to the hospital, there is an old building that has only been purchased by the hospital in recent years and has only been renovated earlier this year"

Rio looked at Tony for a moment, without a second thought he grabbed his jacket on the chair and walked out of his desk.

"Wait what else, let's go there!"

Rio and Tony, with a team of police officers combing the old building next to the hospital, armed with warrants obtained with cctv evidence, are allowed to conduct investigations for as long as they need to.

Rio circled around the first floor, there was no impression of any activity happening there, some handyman equipment for renovation was still lying on the floor.

Riana sat in the front seat of Vvip's room with a chaotic feeling, her heart pounding very hard imagining what might happen to Cody at this moment.

The sky outside was getting dark. It means that Cody's been out there all day, he's still sick, his condition doesn't allow to be tied up on a cold floor, or not fed and drank, thinking Riana is getting restless.

"Ems Cody" unknowingly tears Riana down, she knew she had to stay focused in order to help figure out where Cody was at the moment, but she couldn't, all his bad thoughts kept coming up.

Luke approached with a warm tea glass in his hand.

"Ri, drink first calm your mind, Rio and Tony are trying to find Cody, they will find him soon"

Riana raised her hand to receive the tea glass. Luke sat beside him.

"Luk, what, Cody's gonna be okay? He was always hurt, everything he did all this time just kept threatening his life, but, he kept doing so, I said he would always be by his side, but, I just couldn't do anything to protect him, ems, if only I hadn't fallen asleep so well last night.."

Luke touches Riana's shoulder, stopping the girl's speech, he starts to blame himself, as usual.

"Ri, don't blame yourself, you know for yourself how Cody is, he's so stubborn and has his own mind, we can't stop him and can only support him from afar, and he's always lucky, he's always been, this time he will also definitely be able to go through it and come back intact to us, rest assured well"

Riana wiped away her tears, she was already unable to control her tears.

"Ems, Cody, would be angry if he knew I was crying, he always said I was whiny and wouldn't bother me if he knew I was crying again"

Luke stroked Riana's shoulder, he smiled.

"He I'm not going to tell Cody, come on, we have to find more information, keep our Ri spirit in need of it right now"

Riana stood up from her seat, she and Luke would return to the room continuing their search, but, someone she knew quite well stood looking at them from behind the wall near the information table.

Riana held Luke's hand as she was about to continue her steps.

"Luk, that" Riana pointed towards the direction where Mila was standing looking towards them.

Mila slowly walked out of her place, approaching Riana and Luke.

"You're Mila khan?" Ask Lukas. Mila nodded, her face looking nervous, her two hands squeezed in front of her chest. Riana felt that the girl was indeed strange,

"You know where Cody is?" Riana asked without much ado, for some reason but she felt that the girl was suspicious.

Mila raised her face, she stuttered even more as the eyes of Riana and Luke stared fixedly at her, as if waiting for her answer.

"Eh I that"

Riana began to be impatient he immediately went forward pulling Mila's clothes hard to stop him to immediately realize because he was still there.

"Do you know where Cody Khan is? Tell me where he is!" Riana's loud voice surprised everyone, including Luke who did not expect the girl would be so emotional, held Riana's hand.

"Ri relax! He doesn't know where Cody is, why are you pushing him that way?"

Riana let go of her hand, she was still staring at Mila with a sharp look, from the beginning she had already disliked the girl, since she had always entered Cody's room when Riana came out for a while, and coming at night when Cody was asleep, he had a feeling that Mila might know something.

Riana clenched her hand in restraint, she knew she should at least be able to think coldly this time for Cody's sake.

Mila looked at Riana and Luke alternately, she lowered her head, from her gaze Luke also began to suspect her.

"Mila, Cody's life may be in danger right now, if you might know of his current whereabouts, please, quickly tell me where he is" Luke cautiously advised.

With a slight stutter finally Mila spoke.

"A I, I tried to follow him, I tried to find out where they hid him, I've been looking in an ordinary place but nothing, I heh.."

Riana held Mila's hand hard, she knew for sure that the girl was indeed hiding something.

"Who's Mil? Who's hiding Cody? Where is he at the moment? Tell me where he is now!"
