The Skewers House

The Skewers House
Friendship

"Seven people are missing. And we haven't made any significant progress in the investigation" Mas Adi played the pen in his hand.

"There are no clues and no evidence" Tarji said lightly.

"I'm even more suspicious, this case is really related to the supernatural. What can we try?" Tarji spoke half a whisper.

"After all, can we let this happen again? How many more people should Ji have lost?," Mas Adi stared intently at Tarji.

"Where do I know you," Tarji nodded.

Silent mood. Tonight there is only Mas Adi and Tarji in the front guard post room. Mas Adi read back the file about the missing seventh person. His name is Wiwit Syaileni or commonly called Leni. He's only 25 years old. And the last person who was with Leni at once who called Mas Adi was Sinta.

Still remembering a few nights ago, Mas Adi received a call from Sinta. The woman was so nervous and panicked to say that Leni had gone missing. Through the phone he also told me there was a burning fragrance in the room. Also found a piece of partially burned frankincense. All of the treasures intact there was nothing missing, not even HP was still lying within his room. The only valuable object that was lost was a ring that Leni always wore.

"When broo breaks, your body isn't a machine, your brain isn't a computer. Don't torture yourself, work don't overdo it, it's time for us to rest" Tarji told Mas Adi who seemed to still feel at home turning back the paper.

"I can't rest Ji quietly" Mas Adi sighed.

"You know, at the end of this time I was often haunted by feelings of guilt, several times I hallucinated meeting the missing woman, asking for help from me Jii," said Mas Adi, quoted by Reuters, he leaned up against his neck on the chair.

"Huh? Cook?," Tarji was shocked. Mas Adi nodded slowly.

"That's a hallucination or are you being approached? Hii serem ah," Tarji was horrified.

"You know Ji, my fate used to be the same as that missing person. No relatives. With the task I'm taking now, if I can't solve this case it feels like I'm really a useless person," Mas Adi looks so sad.

"We're trying too. It's not that you're holding hands, is it?" Tarji approached Mas Adi, massaging his shoulder massages trying to encourage him.

"I have an idea" Tarji smiled widely.

"What?" Mas Adi asked enthusiastically.

"What if we go to the shaman. Ask for encouragement," said Tarji.

"Your cat exploded! You just find a shaman there. I'm a goddamn ogah," Mas Adi hit Tarji's arm. His co-worker never gave him the right idea.

"Yes our opponent this time who is so Dii. ..," Tarji is still trying to convince Mas Adi.

"Like you alone," Mas Adi did not mengubris.

"Lha continues, what do you want to do next?," Tarji asked, a little annoyed that his idea was rejected Mas Adi.

"I want to find the info from the store that sells this thing," Mas Adi grasped the frankincense in his hand. A special Frankincense that is only sold in a store in K sub-district.

Drrtt drrtt drtt

HP Mas Adi on the table vibrates. A call from Sinta. At the end of this, Sinta did contact Mas Adi quite often. Mas Adi felt a little happy when Sinta called.

"Who's Di?," Tarji asked curiously.

"So, why ask," Mas Adi snatched his HP then moved away from Tarji.

"Yee, if it's hard to tell them. If the right moment is left behind," Tarji shouted sewot. Mas Adi chuckled, laughing.

"Hallo Assalamualaikum," Mas Adi picked up the phone from Sinta and said his greetings first.

"Waalaikum salam. Where's Mas Adi?" Sinta's voice sounded calm.

"Emm, I happen to be at a food stall near Mas Adi's office. Can we meet?" Sinta asked softly.

"Ah so, well," Mas Adi agreed Sinta's invitation.

"No bother, right Mas?," Sinta asked again, probably feeling bad.

"No, which food stall are you in?" Mas Adi returned to his seat, opened the drawer and took his wallet

"Hey, where are you going?" Tarji asked when he saw Mas Adi coming out of the room.

"Get out a moment" replied Mas Adi briefly.

Tarji gawking left alone. He grumbled in his heart. Tarji plays his HP because there are no other activities that can be done.

Brug

I heard something falling on the back shelf. Tarji quickly looked over. Silent and silent. I don't know why the air suddenly turned colder. Tarji's hair stood up, he rubbed his nape.

"Well, I'd rather go to the back office than be here alone" Tarji immediately ran out of the room towards the back building.

"A long time ago?" asked Mas Adi as he was already sitting before Sinta. They are currently in a farmhouse.

"Not yet," Sinta smiled.

"Mas, yesterday I forgot. I want to return this," Sinta handed me a plastic bag.

"Ah, yes I also forgot," Mas Adi said after looking at the contents of the bag. It turned out that his jacket was left behind when he fell asleep at Sinta's place that night.

"Thank you, yes" Mas Adi smiled.

Sinta noticed Mas Adi. Under the bright lights, the man looked even more charming. However, from the look of Mas Adi's eyes and expression, Sinta suspected the police officer was sad or exhausted.

"Mas Adi looks tired," Sinta said later. He propped up his chin, staring at Mas Adi from a short distance away.

"Ah, is it?" Mas Adi was clumsy and slightly misbehaved.

"Yes. Emm I don't know yes, is it possible that Mas Adi was too concerned about the loss of people in my place?," Sinta tried to guess.

"Yes that is," Mas Adi sighed, his face looking lovely.

"From childhood I had no one. I live in an orphanage. I was only familiar with the two residents of the parlour, whom I had already considered to be my own brother. I lost them in tragedy. I know very well the pain and loneliness of being alone. I can't let someone like me disappear without a care. With the trust God has given me now, I really want to help people who have no relatives like me. Failure to uncover the case made me feel unable to keep the trust," Mas Adi cupped both hands in front of his face.

"Mas Adi, it's not your fault. You haven't failed anyway" Sinta said.

"I really want to thank you, Mas" Sinta looked at Mas Adi, her eyes twitching.

"Thank you for what?" Mas Adi frowned.

"Because you're the only man I've ever met, who cares about people like me. When another man looks at me with his eyes full of desire, you look so sincere to care for me" Sinta said softly. His heart was beating so hard.

Mas Adi and Sinta were silent for quite a while, they had been honest with each other. The friendship that is established from a similar way of life makes them understand each other. There is a thicker than human relations because of blood ties, which are relations between humans because of friendship bonds.
