Tiffany wrapped her body around a blanket and walked to the bathroom in Jason's room. Removing his blanket after the bathtub filled with water, he soaked in warm water and let his stiff body back comfortable.
Not long after Tiffany spent cleaning herself, she came out with a towel covering her body.
Looking at her loosened clothes, Tiffany picked them up and put them in a laundry basket with Jason's clothes on.
He had to borrow Jason's clothes again. The t-shirt that fit the man was quite oversized for Tiffany's smaller body, but still she needed pants to cover her bottom, so she borrowed her shorts.
After changing and cleaning the bed, Tiffany exits Jason's room.
“Ah... something happened here.”
Tiffany looked up, saw Rico who had returned and joined Rico who had been sitting in the bar stool. “How's Selia doing?”
“She's good. Why are you asking that?”
“Why?”
“You don't know each other.”
Tiffany shrugged her shoulders. “What's wrong with asking someone?”
“You're right,” break up Rico.
Rico stood up, walked towards the refrigerator and picked up some water.
“I'm bored.”
Rico put down the empty glass and looked at Tiffany. “Then?” his tanyanya held back a laugh.
Tiffany silent. It's boring here, there's nothing he can do but sit back, wait for Jason to come home. Then play back the activities in the previous days. “I can't go out? At least give me one day of freedom.”
Rico scratched his temple. “Where do you want to go?”
“You want to drive me?” tiffany didn't answer Rico's question.
•••
“Here?” rico asked, staring at the 3rd floor building. Tiffany asked to be transferred to St. Wikileaks. The first time Rico came here, saw the place that was told by Jake.
Rico looked at Tiffany who was still silent. With facial expression strokes—ntahlah. Looks like he's got to hide this from Jason. “Until here you don't want to go down? Just wasting my time.” Rico leaned his head and sighed in annoyance, pretending to feel annoyed. Glancing at Tiffany who began to wake up, back to reality—really, the woman was a little dreamy and she knew what Tiffany was thinking.
This woman was different from what Rico knew back in the mansion, like she wasn't.
“You wait here.” Before Tiffany opens the door, Rico stops her.
“No. You can escape later.”
Tiffany. “Good. You're coming.”
Rico came out after Tiffany. Followed the woman who was already standing at the door and was again silent, daydreaming. “Hei. Substantial. Your consciousness left behind in the mansion? It can be crazy to see you like this.”
Tiffany frowned, not liking.
“What?” Rico knocked on the door and waited for the owner to come. He could see the look of the woman next to him waiting.
The next second, there was a knock on the stick and someone opened the door. Featuring men looking older than Jake, because Rico thinks 'friend Jake' is as good as Jake. “Good afternoon, Mr...” Rico's greeting keeps the two people with him focused on him.
“Filan Sicardhe.”
“It's nice to meet you, Mr. Sicard. I'm Rico Black, friend of Tiffany.”
After which, they sat inside the lounge on the 1st floor. According to Rico this 1st floor belongs to Filan Sicardhe completely and the top two floors he rented.
“I make you drink first.” Filan with the help of his cane walked slowly towards the kitchen.
Rico saw Tiffany who was still silent. “Hei. You really... have not met your father for a long time why just shut up?”
Rico's sentence left Tiffany shocked, staring at Rico with her eyeballs almost out.
“I know,” says Rico relaxed.
Tiffany took a deep breath. He looked towards the kitchen, occasionally the fragile body of Filan was visible by his gaze.
They were silent again, Rico looked towards the kitchen and moved. Entering into the kitchen, seeing the fragile back of Filan who was moving wanted to lift his tray. “Let me help.” Rico took over the tray and walked first into the lounge, putting three cups on the table.
“Your apartment looks quiet, Mr. Sicardhe.”
“When night I guess not. Maybe because the top tenant is working.”
“Oh. Any tenants?” ask Tiffany.
Filan. “Yes. New tenant, he's a man.”
Rico enjoyed his tea, hearing the dialogue of the two people who were no longer awkward.
“You all right?”
“I'm fine. Sorry to worry you.” Tiffany looked towards Rico who was silent.
Long until the tea Rico drank runs out. “Tehku out.”
“I make.” Tiffany stands up and leaves Rico with Filan.
“Thank you, Rico. I love him, I don't want him to be hard or sad.”
“I understand. You do like this indeed because you love your daughter.”
“Jake told you?”
Rico nodded. “All will run fine.”
“Does Jason accept?”
“If not, the man has already been dumped by Jake.” Rico laughing.
•••
“No need to drop off. You rest,” stop Tiffany.
Rico and Tiffany say goodbye without Filan taking them out.
“Oh.”
A man in his black coat appeared when Tiffany pulled the door.
“Hello…. New tenant?” ask the man.
“Not. Excuse me,” Rico came out first with Tiffany walking following and got in the car.
Their car left St. Wikileaks. Unaware of the passing car that suddenly stopped.
“Tiffany?”
The white Ford stopped in front of the apartment Tiffany left behind, the driver exited and walked over to the black-coat man. “Halo...”.
The black-coat man looked at Dave with furrowed brows. “Ya?”
“I saw you with the woman with the man earlier. Do you know him?”
“No. What's up? You know him?”
“Iya. We're office friends and he lives here. I thought you knew Tiffany.”
The black-coat man extended his hand. “Jay Smith.”
“Dave Wilson's. So...” Dave showed me this building with his eyes.
“Ah yes. I live here too. But it looks like the woman named Tiffany is no longer living in this apartment.”
Dave raised his eyebrows. “Really?”
Jay nodded. “Omong-by. If you're his friend why not just call? You must have the number.”
Dave smile. “Maybe he's hiding.”
“What does that mean.?”.
“It has been a few days Tiffany did not leave the office and did not give any news. The previous day also his phone was off, so his other friend was worried.”
Jay looks astonished. “So?”
“Iya. Even we thought she was kidnapped.”
Jay looks at the road from the BMW car, stares at the threshold and then looks back at Dave. “He looks fine. Did something else happen?”
Dave silence.
“Begin, if you feel your friend is in trouble maybe I can help. I'm a cop.”
Dave was surprised for a moment but he normalized his expression. “You...cop?”
“Iya. I was called to the branch office for patrol. If—”
Dave raised both his hands in front of his chest. “Nothing happened. I think everything's back to normal. I also saw Tiffany was fine. Maybe he just needs some free time because he is too depressed to work.”
Jay nodded slowly.
“Then I'm sorry. Nice to meet you, Jay Smith.”
Dave walked into the car and got in. Giving a horn then the car he was driving left Jay with an unsatisfied look.
“There is wrong.”
