Chapter 58 – Meet the Enemy

Several fast-moving black dots were seen moving amidst the thin fog. Their silhouettes slowly appeared. The first was the person wearing a purple robe, whose handsome face showed a cruel expression – was none other than Ye Yichen.

In her hand, she tightly held a young girl whose face, though pale, but beautiful – she was the daughter of Mobei, Qin Yuyuan.

Why are they here?

Murong Xue frowned. Behind them, he saw 5 or 6 guards and giant white plants chasing after them. The plant is 3 meters away to catch its prey. The roots of the plant move at perfect speed while remaining in the ground. This caused it to leave a trail of yellow soil as it moved.

In the corner of his eyes, a purple robe was visible, Murong Xue stared coldly at Ye Yichen, “Prince Jing, how did you guys provoke this carnivorous flower?”

Because of him, they were involved. They can avoid carnivorous flowers and save time and energy.

“I came to hunt and accidentally met the flower. And that's how we were pursued by him..” Ye Yichen replied lightly, his long arm grabbing Qin Yuyuan and hugging her tightly to protect her.

Ye Yichen used his sword to cut through that towering trunk. Out of annoyance, he glanced at her and said, “What do you think happened back then?”

“Carnivorous flowers have protective properties. If you don't cross into his territory and rob him of something, he won't chase you! You're not here to hunt, are you? You're here looking for something, right?” challenge Murong Xue.

Something that the plant needs to take care of is definitely not something ordinary. However he was not interested in finding out what it was, he was only interested in looking for DiYang grass. He had hopes of finding her but those hopes were shattered indefinitely by all of these events….

After provoking the carnivorous flower and being chased by it, he ran in all directions until he saw its silhouette. Instinctively, he ran towards her….

"AHH!!" a terrible cry sounded in their ears.

Ye Yichen flinched consciously and turned his head towards that shout. One of his guards swallowed a plant…….

“How many stems does this carnivorous flower have?! We will never finish cutting everything. If we continue like this, either we will be eaten or exhausted...” muttered Xun Feng.

Murong Xue started to think quickly, they could not hope to kill him just by cutting his trunk……

A towering trunk soundlessly in front of him and opened his petals, it pointed at him…….

Murong Xue's eyes flashed and she extended her hand, welcoming the flower petals........

"Be careful!"

Ouyang Shao Chen rushed over and grabbed her waist, pulling her aside to be safe. His back lightly touched the flower petals, forming a long incision, spilling blood……..

"What are you doing?! Don't you want to live ?!" Ouyang Shaochen's face darkened. Quickly, he took out a small white porcelain bottle and opened it. He then carefully poured the contents of his powder into his fresh pieces……

While fighting against the flower, he was also watching her. If he was in danger, he would rush to help him. But what he did not expect was that he himself voluntarily approached the flower…….
