The Death Game System

The Death Game System
Chapter 32 - Sakahara Minori

Kei understood the reason why Minori was not affected by the system.

It seemed, there was a slight gap in the system rules. His rule was, if anyone else knew about the System, he would be removed instantly. In other words, dead.

But, what if the person sees, but does not know about the System, and does not believe in the existence of the System?

This is where the gap that Kei ended up finding because of observing Minori. In fact, Minori had already seen all the events where Kei used his power, and Shiori was controlled by the player. But it's not clear.

It's unclear what happened, it's unclear how things are going, and it's unclear what caused it. All occur in each person's body, and are not visible to the surface.

And all with will be easily camouflaged with the alibi that Kei made. If Kei were to convince Shiori it was not something that came from the System, and Minori did not see Kei unleash the skill directly, it would seem that Minori's "deletion" would not happen.

It might have been different if Minori had seen Kei pick up a firearm from his inventory, or the armor Sato was wearing.

Both of these examples were circumstances where the player directly showed his strength. In other words, there was a very big thing like the fight earlier that did not make his "erased" audience, but there was also a trivial thing that could harm them.

"Ahh, the mechanism of this system is really troublesome. There are things that can kill you arrive, some are not. Huff...." Kei complained tired.

He looked up at the sky, seemingly giving up. But he turned his head back to the small figure next to him, who was sitting pensively the same as he seemed.

"Well, I don't care if you don't believe me. But fine. I've told you everything. How's yours?" kei asked starting the conversation.

"You said you said everything?" minori asked a little annoyed.

"Hummmmmd... Is correct. That's it all. I've said everything there in my opinion. Now it's your turn." Kei replied lightly.

"But I don't believe that. How about you lie?" minori's tone of voice was high.

"I told you not to, right? It's up to you to take it as what. You can lie about your story now."

"But if you don't say what's on your mind right now, there might not be another time to say it." Kei continued in a serious tone.

Hearing that, Minori's round eyes widened, looking towards Kei with a questioning look, but there was a cry that was being held in her eyes.

"Then.... Aren't you cheating, Kanata? You can lie, but I can't. No, it can't not. I don't have a choice." Minori smiled forcedly.

Yep. That was what Kei had in mind. If Minori does not tell the story, obviously the stress will accumulate, and it is not impossible if Minori will think of suicide again.

In other words....

"You told me to tell a story or die... Isn't that so evil, sister Kanata?" Minori smiled bitterly, slightly mocking.

"Humm? Why would you say you're so mean? I didn't say that, did I?" Kei was still trying to curl up with his rancid tone, while styling a little excessively.

Silence, that's all that happened. Kei also knew, it might be a bit outrageous for him who was an outsider to interfere, but at least Kei did not want him to let go of the figure that was in front of him right now. Otherwise, the same thing as Kei's past would definitely be repeated.

The sound of the wind whistling softly, blowing on the clouds that were walking slowly, grew increasingly dark.

"All right." Minori raised her voice, breaking the silence.

"I just want to get genuine attention from the people around me." Minori started telling stories.

"I was unintentionally by my parents. My father was an office worker who was often drunk. And my mom, a nightclub worker. Obviously, you know how they met, don't you?" Minori smiled miris.

"Because I was born, I was taken care of by my mother directly. My father rarely came home. When I go home, I just scream and fight with my mom. And mom also looks half-hearted taking care of me."

"He went to work at night, and went home and went to bed in the morning. It's almost impossible for me to come face to face with him."

"Looking at that, one of my neighbors, Ms. Keiko often comes in the morning, takes care of me selflessly and takes care of me from morning to evening, invites me to play and takes care of me until I go to elementary school."

That way, Minori continued to tell about her, since she was a child, until now.

Little Minori who is hungry for affection her parents ask, how can she attract the attention of her parents. And that way, Minori thought that if she became a good child, then her parents would praise her.

Upon entering Elementary School, Minori's facial features begin to take shape. His face was similar to his father's, which made his mother even less fond of Minori.

The little Minori who did not know what could only resign, received various punches or torments from her mother. Minori thought that she made something wrong.

At the beginning of high school, his mother completely stopped providing for Minori. Minori starts work, becomes a newspaper deliveryman, or a shopkeeper. All the work he could do on the side.

He is still trying to be the best, whether at school or wherever he is. The value is good, her face is also beautiful. He easily gets the attention of his friends.

But Minori knew, the people who were nearby, were only using her.

That Minori is a person whose academic grades are good. That Minori is a kind-hearted and easy-to-use person. That Minori is a very beautiful girl.

All the affection, all the love Minori got, all that nothing sincere, made Minori start giving up on the world. But in the presence of everyone, Minori tried to avoid people.

His trust in others began to disappear.

And when stepping on the High School bench, the treatment that Minori can be increasingly cruel.

As her beauty becomes more real, her mother forces Minori to enter the night world, and work as a comfort woman. Minori refused it, only to get a punch, lash, make-up, and so on.

"And at that time, I asked the neighbor's mother for advice, but she found out about it and ended up running straight over to Keiko's mom while saying some disrespectful things. And for some reason, a few days later Keiko's mom moved from there. Maybe stay away from my mother." Minori's story looks remembered.

"And when my father came home, he came home drunk. That's normal, because he always comes home with a bottle of booze."

"Today, he often looked at me with an unpleasant look. And of course, I feel uncomfortable with it, but I just hold it back. But.." Minori's voice began to stall.

His face was still smiling, but his tears were beginning to flow. His breathing was also irregular, as if holding back a cry.

"Yesterday, he didn't just sit quietly watching me. In-hand there's a bottle. He. he pushed me... Walls.. Ahhh!!!" Minori shouted, while trying to tell that.

Minori herself looked frightened, hiding herself with her hands and lowered her head, remaining with the smile and dark expression she had.

Kei instantly knew what he meant, but he didn't know what to do. Finally, he decided to let Minori calm down.

Minori was stunned for a moment, when she finally turned her head towards Kei, and then she regained her senses.

"A-ahh, sorry. I lost myself there."

"Somehow I managed to escape. But, but! I don't know what to do after this. I can go to school as usual, but can I still go back to that place? L'm... I. a-I'm scared." whispered Minori.

Kei could not say a word. His heart was hot, his hands were clenched tightly. He knew that he was just an outsider, but this feeling, he remembered what that feeling was.

This was the same feeling when he saved his sister yesterday. And somehow, the case here is very similar.

Only difference, Minori at least managed to escape, either because of a miracle or whatever.

And after Kei noticed again, there were a few punch marks and bruises on Minori's hands, feet, even neck. It only made the pain in Kei's chest grow bigger.

("God... Why did it happen... Does this world only contain such perverts?") kei thought in his heart.

"Hey, brother Kanata..." Minori.

"Huumms?"

"Am I wrong? Is this all my fault? Was it my fault that I was born in this world? Was it my fault that I was born to them? Is it my fault of being endowed with more ability and appearance? Is it my fault??!!" asked Minori with an inflated tone.

Kei could not answer that, and just kept silent, staring at the figure of Minori who was still smiling bitterly, even though tears flowed in her eyes.

"I mean, why should I be of all the people in this world? Did I have such a big mistake to be punished like that?! Hey, big brother Kanata, please tell me!!" minori's tone of voice now sounded pushy.
