The sky was filled with countless black clouds, covering every inch of the sky and blocking the bright sunlight.
The waves of sea water that had been calmer were now undulating as if the waves were confused and angry because of the sudden change in weather.
The strong wind from the sea blew making the coconut trees sway violently
Simultaneously thousands of rainwater froths fell with undulating movements.
“Aduh, the storm is coming!” said a girl who immediately ran to her house, locked the door and drowned her face in a warm blanket. Not for some time the sound of the wind roaring simultaneously banged on the door and then followed by the sound of thunderous lightning.
The expression of fear now adorned the girl's face then drowned her face deeper and closed her eyes while praying the storm soon subsided.
In the midst of the waves of angry sea water seen fishing boats bobbing like scattering by the wind and waves of angry sea water.
“A storm again, storm again.”
A middle-aged lung man named Farsan was staring out of the window of the ship.
His face was visibly irritated by the sudden change in weather. If usually the time now he had gotten a lot of fish, now different he could only lament his bad fate.
Farsan took a deep breath.
“why storm you regret, here please help.”
Together with that voice Farsan closed the window curtain and then turned around, in front of him were two friends who were busy with their respective activities, one of his friends was sitting on a bed reading a book, he was a bagas and the other was busy preparing a fishing net to be used, he was Andros.
“Why still quiet, let's help.” The words of Andros who was busy preparing the net. He spoke without looking.
Farsan approached her and prepared a fishing net.
As the man sat down, one of his friends who read the book slightly glanced at him. He felt a little annoyed when reading books at such a disturbance.
While reading he needed full concentration and calm, but the opportunity he never got on a ship that was always played by ferocious sea waves.
Therefore he kept trying to understand her, but he could not understand if the theme did so.
Bagas took a breath, he wanted to hold back his frustration then continue reading the book.
Farsan and Andros continued to prepare fishing nets. For 10 minutes they did it without any conversation until Farsan started the conversation.
“huh, storm again storm again.” Farsan said annoyedly.
“Why are you dizzying a storm that can't be set?” Andros asked without looking at him.
“If a storm right we can not spread this net into the sea and if it can not then what will we sell?”
“You how else, it's the will that's on top.”
“but can not continue this way, for example if we do not try and assume it is the will that is above then we will quickly finish.” Farsan said. He said it was because these few days the storm kept shaking the sea making his income decrease.
Blunt. Bagas closed his book rudely making his two friends look at him confused.
“Can't you be quiet, I'm reading a book. If you want to chat please lower your voice. Do you want to be like the storm outside that always bothers me?” Bagas said it with anger.
Andros and Farsan wanted to answer, but they couldn't get a chance.
“you Farsan if you want to try then you yourself are out and spread the net into the sea alone and do not babble here, do you not know raving can not solve the problem.” Bagas spoke in a louder tone.
Farsan could only look down, what his friend said was true.
“sorry if our conversation bothers you.” replied Andros who was beside Farsan.
“Do not repeat again. Remember this ship is mine and you're just hitching a ride here, so you have to follow the rules.”
Hearing that Farsan and Andros could only nod.
“already, I want to read the book again and finish it quickly, the faster then the more you can go and not bother me.”
Farsan and Andros nodded then continued their work quickly so that they could rest, although now they could not fish at least they could rest, even if it was not their will.
Huh finally. Inner Farsan while stretching his hands up. While doing so he could feel his bone connection ringing.he smiled after hearing that, thus the bones became more supple and good.
Farsan looked at Andros beside him. “ayo we go.” Farsan.
Andros nodded. They left without saying goodbye to the bagas who were still busy with the book. While walking across Bagas, Farsan and Andros walked almost without a sound, they did not want the anger of Bagas repeated again. They then went to the back door.
An hour passed, Bagas turned his face away.A quick light came in from the window.
Bagas was a little surprised to realize the storm was over. He wanted to shout out to his friends, but there was a melodious and calm sound of arpa music grabbing his attention. Unknowingly, he came out of his room.
Birds flying in the blue sky. The bright sun welcomed him.
There was a sense of wonder going into his mind when he saw the deck of the ship that was not wet in the slightest. He turned around and wanted to scream, but again the melodious sound of arpa music appeared and tempted him.
He rushed towards the restriction of the ship then spread his gaze over the vast sea.
For a moment, he was very surprised to see a beautiful girl who looked like an angel standing on a pile of rocks. The girl was playing the arpa.
Her face was thin and beautiful, her skin was pure white. The girl was wearing a white dress and there was a wreath on her head, the most attention the man had was on the girl's back was a pair of sparkling white wings.
The man looked on in disbelief, in his heart he was so thrashed about wanting to head towards the girl.
Now he was swimming towards where the girl was standing.
From the deck of the ship Farsan and Andros shouted to Bagas, but Bagas still towards the girl was. With worried faces Farsan and Andros continued to shout, but Bagas did not heed it like he had no ears.
“I have to help him.” Farsan was about to jump, but Andros quickly held Farsan's hand.
“don't, it's dangerous, now we can only run from here.”
“No, I won't let the bagas be killed by that siren.”
Hearing that Andros further tightened his grip.
“No, I won't let you go. Bagas already can't listen to us because he's already hypnotized by that music.”
“Huh if I could have prevented it maybe this wouldn't have happened. Now all we can do is pray for him to be safe.”
“But...” Farsan stopped the words after seeing andros's countenance and shook his head.
Andros knew that helping Bagas was a futile thing to do because he had been hypnotized by the music of the arpa passages, if Bagas had worn earplugs before he might have survived.
“All right what should we do now?” ask Farsan.
“We can only escape before the siren realizes our existence.”
They then went to the hull of the ship to find a buoy.
The beautiful girl stopped her play after seeing the bagas had reached her place then she squatted down and gently touched the bagas chin.
Bagas only looked at the girl expressionlessly as she was already hypnotized by the girl's music game.
The girl smiled sweetly. From the chin of the bagas spread a light green flame that had a high temperature.
Bagas was surprised and realized, but it was too late. The fire burned his whole body. Sorrowful and agonizing cries came out from the flames that were burning the gas. In a quarter of a second only leaves the bones of the bagas.
The girl smiled as she held the skull in her hand and turned her gaze towards Farsan and Andros who were getting away.
“you want to escape yes.” Said the girl softly and cheerfully.
Slowly the girl disappeared and from behind her the water rose as if a whale was about to emerge from it. The water then formed a high wave moving towards the place of Farsan and Andros.
Within seconds the fishing boat was smashed into pieces and left only the wreckage.
It is unclear whether Farsan and Andros survived or drowned.
