SUSKALA [Introduction Diary of the Soul Cluster ]
Chaptre 06. The Comforter

In the east corner of the school building, there is a European-style tower. On certain nights, a creature appeared perched on it. Its appearance is often accompanied by the sound of birds squealing.

However, after Sangkala looked at it more closely. That creature is KUNTILANAK.

His existence triggers Sangkala's curiosity. During this time, people knew this creature as a child kidnapper.

Now Sangkala was in the same realm as him, and he wanted to know more deeply. Where's the kuntilanak been all this time? What's he doing over there?

Sangkala's steps were led all over the city, following the kuntilanak flying. Crossing the hustle and bustle of the crowd to penetrate the increasingly silent path.

As soon as the creature perched on a large tree branch, Sangkala's pursuit stopped. In front of him stood an old building that looked grim.

The writing on the board at the front of the building made Sangkala's reasoning shaken.

"Mother's Orphanage of Compassion"

Which is on the fifty-sixth White Pigeon Road, the Southeastern Old Town.

What Sangkala was most worried about actually happened. What would a kuntilanak do in an orphanage?

Worry and curiosity returned to Sangkala's heart, moving his steps through the thick walls of the old building.

The cold ambush. Baby cries echoed along the hallway, making Sangkala even more restless. From one of the open doors of the room, Sangkala heard other voices infiltrating among the cries.

Unnatural bird squealing sound, combined with the sound of wood creaking.

Netra Sangkala saw the kuntilanak perched on one of the baby beds like a demon bird that was ready to prey.

However, what Sangkala was worried about was completely unproven. On the contrary, the existence of the kuntilanak actually made the baby's cry subside, and replaced it into a cheerful laughter.

The kuntilanak was comforting the crying babies. And what is seen in the eyes of the adult men and Sangkala, is not the same as what the babies see.

On that night, Sangkala's head was shaken by thousands of question marks.

How come?

Have humans misjudged them all this time?

Babies born to sinners, which is considered a mistake. Making his birth unacceptable.

Then, in the name of shame and honor, the babies were discarded. Abandoned, and in such a place the holy babies are moored.

Poor little creature. The sinners thought that by throwing away the little angel, the burden was unraveled.

Fortunately in this world there are still many humans - noble-hearted humans, who are willing to care for the baby - the baby with affection.

Who are willing to replace the role of parents with the burden of a sense of responsibility that has just been moved from the original parents.

The angels, who atone for the burden of sinners. Sinners, who give birth to tiny babies into the world without a sense of responsibility, then throw it away to erase the traces of his past.

Their cries were broken by the coldness of nature and the coldness of their fathers' hearts. And the babies who ended up sheltered under the roof of the home learned not to cry.

Because they realized, no matter how loud the cry, there would be no figure of a mother who came to pet him. However, at least now Sangkala can breathe a little relieved.

For the kuntilanak will come to the place where the cry of the lonely baby echoes. Kuntilanak the entertainer, juggling tears into laughter.

...Dear, diary......

...So many echoes of innocent baby crying that broke out in the corners of the earth due to being dumped by two parents who did not want it....

...Kuntilanak who ventured tore through the night appeared to bear noble missions......

...A story that not only opened my eyes but also inspired me to donate more and more virtues, even though it must come from the realm of death......
