"Dear Rachel, after this you have to come with me there's something I want to show you" Jennifer held her laugh as she looked at Bryan.

Bryan just looked at his mother confused because he did not understand what was funny there.

Jennifer brought Rachel into a room that looked like a child's room because many hero characters there ranging from dolls, cabinets, mattresses to wall hangings.

Bryan has a sister? thought.

Jennifer picks up an album and invites Rachel to sit on the mattress with the superhero.

"Look" he told Rachel to open the album.

Rachel just looked at the woman confused and did her orders as she opened it on the first page of the album there was a very messy handwriting that read 'Me and My Hero' the sheet was full of colors and typical drawings of small children.

At the corner of the sheet was the handwriting of 'Bryan and Papa' seeing that Rachel immediately glanced towards Jennifer.

"This doesn't look like Bryan" Rachel said, sighed harshly "I don't know Bryan's side of things because he never told me what he liked or disliked" said it.

Jennifer smiled at him "Bryan really likes superhero characters he also considers his father a superhero" he said, recalling the old memories of their small family "Bryan really likes and admires his father" he said again.

Jennifer flipped over each sheet of the album that showed the closeness of Bryan and his father even many photos of them wearing character clothes.

"But that was all he used to be. Now he really hates both his superhero character and his father, he really hates him because the two are related to him" explained Jennifer again.

Rachel seemed hesitant she wanted to ask what was the reason the two became so hateful to each other like this.

"When Bryan was ten years old his father's business went very smoothly and of course for successful business people it seemed like many didn't like it and wanted to take it down"

"Bryan was my husband's weakness and Bryan was kidnapped along with his cousin because they were playing together. What makes Bryan so much hate his father is that my husband did not save Bryan first" he said.

"Why wasn't Bryan saved first?" ask Rachel.

Jennifer sighed "Actually my husband didn't save his cousin because the kidnapper already knew that Bryan was our son so he let go of his cousin because he thought he wasn't important to his mission" she explained.

Rachel tries to digest all that "So Bryan is angry about misunderstanding and assumes that his father would rather save his cousin?" tanyakanya.

Jennifer nodded her head "After two months Bryan finally returned to our arms, at that time his father sacrificed a lot for him but Bryan had closed the door of his heart to his father"

He paused for a moment and hesitated to continue saying "I don't know if I can say this to you, after the kidnapping, Bryan often behaves strangely and sometimes sweetly to cover up his mistakes"

"I got a report that if he hurt animals often I mean kill him and he became a bad boy who likes to lie because of that I had taken him to a psychiatrist and the doctor said if his mentality is disturbed because it often receives physical violence" he explained again

"Maybe it was because of such frequent violence that Bryan began to do the same to the animals he encountered"

Jennifer continues to tell Bryan's childhood and why Bryan hates his father so much, until a sentence that makes Rachel gulp her saliva with difficulty.

"Doctors say if left unchecked it's very likely that Bryan would be a terrible person, he could become a psychopath. I heard it was very angry at the doctor for not believing his words, where maybe my adorable little son turned into that mean person" Jennifer said.

Rachel just kept quiet she could not say anything and she also could not say that all that had happened because now Bryan had turned into a terrible and vile psychopath.

Rachel sighed, what should she do at this moment. Jennifer is wrong to assume that everything is fine, Bryan is not okay at all the things that Jennifer feared had happened.

Jennifer shed her tears "I just want our lives to go back to how they were since it all became so grim that for a long time there were no joking laughs in this house"

Rachel hugged Jennifer's body trying to calm her down "It's fine, everything's gonna be fine. Bryan and his father will definitely make up, one of them will have to lower his ego in order to talk to each other and maybe the misunderstanding between them is gone" he said.

"His father didn't want to talk to Bryan because he felt he deserved to be hated, he blamed himself for what happened to Bryan because of which he considered all this punishment for him" jennifer said, clutching Rachel's hand tightly

"Dear please take care of Bryan, only you can change Bryan and I miss my old son so much" he said.

Rachel just smiled at Jennifer's words even she herself did not know can or do not change Bryan because all this time even his words have never been heard by Bryan.

On the other hand, Bryan was sitting on the sofa in the living room with his father, do not expect them to sit close together because now they sit at the ends of the sofa and leave empty in the middle.

His father focused on the spectacle while Bryan was tired of waiting for his lover while occasionally glancing at the television but it was very boring.

"Based on the parents" he murmured slowly, very quietly which only he himself could hear.

Something made Bryan speechless because now his father was talking to him "She's a good girl" he said

"Never hurt him be a good and responsible man, otherwise you will lose him" his father said.

Bryan was silent for a long time until he finally opened his "Don't advise me! I know what to do with my girlfriend and I'm not a child anymore, no need to be reminded of things like that" he said.

"Your cousin will come back here" said his father and Bryan looked at his father with a sharp look and his face showed anger.

"I don't care" he said.

"I'm just telling you" said his father.

After a short conversation, the atmosphere between the two became quiet and gripping until finally his father reopened his voice.

"Your house is very ugly" said his father.

Bryan was flabbergasted to hear that, he did not understand at all what was currently on the old man's mind why he suddenly even vilified his house.

"Let's go, it's a lot more comfortable than here" Bryan sewot said.

"Don't leave your ugly house too long tomorrow you have to leave early in the morning or else your house will collapse because it's ugly" said his father again.

Bryan stared intently at his father "Stop vilifying my house! Take it easy I'll leave tomorrow morning for sure before you wake up, I don't want to start my morning with your face" she said.

Bryan let out a rough sigh, he was very upset with his father. It was also wrong what he could expect from a man like his father that there was no way he would gladly accept the arrival of his proof he had been expelled before staying over.

Not only Bryan now his father was sighing rough, he was upset by the words he had just uttered to his son who had not come to visit him for a long time.

Actually he was very happy with the presence of his son and what he really wanted to say was that he wanted his son to come back to this house and stay here, no need to live alone in that ugly house anymore, but his mouth said something else.
