Chapter 5: Hunting for Stone Lizards

There is a planet that actually has very extreme weather. The air temperature is very hot during the day and very cold at night. This planet is very similar to the planet Mercury. However, the planet is millions of light years away from Planet Earth and is in another galaxy.

I visited this planet using the body of the cosmos when a friend invited me to explore. On this planet, we found a lizard-like creature with its body made of stone. Call it a Stone Lizard. These lizards are able to survive on the planet and they often camouflage into small hills.

Therefore, the view of the surface of the planet seems hilly when it is the sleeping Stone Lizard. The duration of their sleep is quite long, it can be many years. The Stone Lizard was also slow-moving, but it had an extremely destructive power.

My friend asked me to hunt for the Stone Lizard. What we want from the Stone Lizard is its energy crystal heart. These crystals are often called energy cores. Actually, this Stone Lizard reminds me of a fantasy creature called Golem. Overall, it is similar. This Stone Lizard would continue to live and regenerate as long as it still had a core or did not shatter the energy crystals that were its source of life. This Stone Lizard is quite large, probably the size of a commercial plane. He has a long, sharp spiked tail. His tail was used to attack his enemies.

When facing the stone Lizard, its tail was indeed very troublesome. That's because he can shoot the rock thorns from his tail. In addition, the lash from the tail is very fast even though this lizard is very slow when walking. However, there was something more troublesome than his tail. His eyes have no blind spot. The Stone Lizard had many eyes, even on its back. The eyes can look in different directions, such as chameleons.

To defeat the Stone Lizard, my friend and I used every means to cripple his sight first. Fortunately, his regenerating ability was quite slow. Even so, it is very difficult to target his eyes and sometimes the hunt recovers if we fight too long.

So far, I only know if the number of eyes is seven and not in the usual position. Each of these eyes is located, one on the head, one on the chest, one on the back, then two eyes on each part of his hands and, two more eyes on each part of his legs. The eyes that are most difficult to paralyze are the eyes on his back and legs because they are close to his tail. The most effective way is to directly target the eyes on his back. The eyes on his back were the largest and prominent, but for some reason it was extremely difficult to target. Another way is to paralyze the other eye at once. At a minimum, two attacks can paralyze the eyes on the hands, feet, and head. Then, the eye on his back was made the last on the third strike.

For those of you who have watched American superhero movies, must be very familiar with the figure that there is a picture.

However, such was the body of the cosmos belonging to the Starseeds. Hence, sometimes I think that the creator of this Silver Surfer character might know about Starseed. You see, he even described his surfing-like vehicle or board as well.

Actually, objects like surfboards or skateboards have various functions. This thing can change shape into any weapon. Of course, even without this thing we can still fly. This surfboard-like thing can change in size as well. Anyway, this thing is very useful. When not in use, it shrinks and enters our palms. In the palm of our hand we can store a lot of things. When you want to store an item like a weapon, it will shrink and be sucked by the palm of my hand. It was like the storage of dimensional space or spatial space.

Back to the Stone Lizard, the heart of this creature can be used to strengthen our weapons. You see, our weapons that often use this form of surfboard can be upgraded like items or weapons in a game. Therefore, we explored various worlds as well in order to collect many valuable items such as energy cores or these stone Lizards.

A brief illustration of our fight. We both managed to cut off his head as well as both hands and feet in one strike. Even so, the Stone Lizard was still not defeated and was still troublesome. Our second step was with my friend holding her tail and I was eyeing her back. When all his eyes were destroyed, then this Stone Lizard could not fight anymore and we could both take away its energy core.
