Jhon took a deep breath and threw it away slowly, then he said in his usual tone, smooth and soft.
"No dear. He never saw me again after the incident at the cafe. Mmm maybe she went to her friend's house and she forgot to bring her cell phone."
"Hmm Maybe. I'll talk to Aunt Monic later, let Aunt Monic calm down." Mentari's words make Jhon can breathe with relief. "I hung up on him first. Looks like mom called me." Mentari heard her mother calling her.
"Well, I'll call you later tonight. Greetings to the prospective in-laws of this handsome ex-prospective" said Jhon made Mentari chuckle softly.
"Yes, I closed it first."
After saying that, Mentari immediately disconnected his connection, while Jhon seemed to sigh heavily while staring at his phone.
"Not yet I asked for a kiss, it's turned off." He said and put his phone on his desk.
Jhon began to reach for the files on his desk, intending to check them, but his intention stopped when he heard the voice of Deheman coming from his flat assistant.
Jhon instantly raised his head, he looked at his flat assistant in annoyance. "Can't you knock on the door before you get into my room?" Excited Jhon who felt a little surprised by the presence of Egi who was like a nettle.
"Boss, you're too busy with your own world. I've knocked on the door many times, but you don't hear it at all. Even I've been standing here since, you don't realize it at all." Egi replied that still showing his flat face made Jhon even more upset.
"You're the one who's like a crotch." Dengus Jhon while reaching for the files on his desk.
"I can still hear it, Eg. You want me to cut your pay, huh!" Jhon is getting upset.
"No, boss." Answer Egi. "Oh yes I have information about Mr. Geri, boss."
"My future-in-law?" Tanya Jhon who got a nod of the head from Egi. "What information is there?"
"Sir Geri is currently in Thailand, ..."
"I know that, Eg. Wasn't Mr Geri gone from a few days ago?" Sela Jhon thinks that Egi information is not important. He also knew if Mr. Geri went to Thailand, so why did Egi tell him again. Is Egi no work? Thought Jhon while peeking at his forehead.
"But you don't know if actually Mr. Geri went to Thailand not to take care of his subsidiary. And Mr. Geri just doesn't have a company there." Egi said still with his face flat, even though he felt annoyed because his boss interrupted his unfinished speech.
"You mean Mr Geri lied?" Tanya Jhon who got a nod of the head from Egi. "Why did he go to Thailand? Did he go on vacation? Ah or maybe he has a mistress, he keeps taking his mistress to go on vacation to Thailand, and he lies with alesan taking care of the subsidiary there, so Mentari does not suspect him." Guess Jhon got the headband from Egi.
His boss' imagination was too much. Does his boss often watch flying fish dramas? Why would the boss think that far? if Mentari knew her future husband was accusing her papa who is not-no, can be sure, the five-finger mark will stick beautifully on both sides of her cheeks.
