Ramadan Longs for the Holy Month

Ramadan Longs for the Holy Month
THE LONGING HOLY MONTH (POV Ramadan)

I woke up in an old hut where a family was gathering, inside, I also saw the sun has set in the eastern horizon emitting a beautiful orange light that can make the creatures always stunned to see the beauty of the creation of God Almighty.

Bugg... Bugg...

I heard the sound of the mosque bedug that was tabooed, as in ancient times to indicate the time of prayer until now is still in use.

I began to slowly walk into the old hut remembering my childhood.

"Alhamdulillah," said a young woman who looks naturally beautiful without being smeared with makeup.

"It's time to open!" The cheer of a 10-year-old boy I felt was me as a kid.

"Slow down, Mad," said a bearded young man whom I knew very well.

"Dad..." I was moved while wanting to hug my father's body at that time who was still healthy and fit.

"Why can't you?" My mind asked as I was like a shadow that could penetrate my father's body.

"Mother..." I came back while hugging her. However, my body returned like a shadow that could pierce through my Mother's body.

"Why is this all?! I miss you guys so much!" My frustrated scream of not being able to hold anything there. However, my feet can step on the ground.

"Not even if I can hug you again, but I will continue to look you in the face, the people I love so much," My murmuring that realized if there was no use for it I rebelled to continue to be able to embrace them. However, I can still stare and enjoy the days of Ramadan when I was a child.

"I love you, Dad!" Girang the boy by hugging his parents after performing the prayers magrib berjama'ah.

"We'll be together forever!" His cheer returned with a happy smile and accompanied by the smile of his parents.

"That smile, I miss your warm smile so much," I was so moved without feeling a lot of clear water falling down one by one soaking my cheeks up to my chin.

"I will always remember your service, Father! Mama!" I said smile.

Whusses...

Suddenly I felt a strong wind blowing away _bringing my body away from the old hut house.

"Maybe... This is the last time I'm able to get back to seeing your smiles for real" I said back by seeing the happy family getting further and further away from my vision.

"Sister!" I again heard a soft voice, the only one of my family that still exists accompany me in this cruel world.

"My sister!" My mind screamed while sitting from my bed.

"I don't want to lose the one I love..."

"My sister!!" I said as I limped towards my sister who was standing next to me.

"I'm sorry Brother, Deck!" I said back while directly hugging the tiny body that was still shaking violently.

"I-i... Dear brother!" Jalila said with broken, he began to return the embrace of his brother.

"Alhamdulillah..." Ustadz Zaki was there.

"Dad! Where's our father, Ustadz??" Ask myself when I think of my hero.

"Dad!" Shouted me, holding my sister and then running fast towards TPU.

"Dad... Why are you staying with us, brother?" Jalila asked while I was still running in a hurry.

When I heard her I fell silent, while looking at my sister who looked weak.

"Dad's okay, Dad's just gonna rest! So, we have to help her get some good rest" said I gently, nodding by my sister.

After I got there, I saw all the citizens one by one leaving one's resting place.

I walked slowly toward the wet mound with a signboard stuck at the end.

"Dad... Yes! That's my hero's name written there!" My inner being with tightness in my chest, I started down my sister and squatted down in front of her grave.

I slowly chanted the Adhan that my father taught me.

My voice is hoarse! with tears that I keep wiping so as not to hit the wet ground.

"Now... It was me who made your Adhan, Father..." My mind continues to chant the Adhan with a hoarse voice.
