CHAPTER 15 THE RISE OF MOUNTAIN MONSTERS

(*Some Minutes Ago)

After we approached the top of the mountain, I heard someone's voice.

“Erik, grandpa, Yue, stop.” My words stopped them.

I stopped, Ellie got off my shoulder, and we got together.

“What's AL.?” Ask grandpa Roy.

“I heard the sound of people cake.”.

“Really,?” grandpa Roy.

“In the meantime, I'll make sure of it.”

I also started listening to the surroundings.

and sure enough, I heard the voices of some people who were talking.

“The sound felt from that direction cake, maybe they are people who survived after to this mountain.” I said while pointing at the direction.

“Then let's go there.” Grandpa Roy.

After walking for about two hundred meters in the direction I pointed out, we saw a cave.

“Not wrong, the sound came from inside this cave, Let's get inside.” I said while taking them.

The cave had a fairly small and long path, so we had to duck down in order to get through the cave.

After a few meters into the cave, we saw a light.

“Look, there's light there, maybe they're the people we're looking for.” Erik said as he pointed towards the light.

We rushed to the light.

“Dad, sister.” Shouted Hana after we arrived.

“Hana.” They were shocked with shocked faces.

“What are you doing here.?” Ask Hana's sister while approaching.

“Kakek and big sister will help us brother,” said Hana with a very happy face.

In contrast to my shadow, they looked not too happy, there were even those who just sat down without the slightest spirit.

Elli and Yue also prepared medicines and medical devices. Their condition looks less good, some even lost one arm.

Two days after my departure from the Straw Village with erik and grandfather, the village chief returned with ten men from the kingdom.

That same day, the royal army set out for the cone with several villagers, with the aim of conducting a search.

When they reached the top of the mountain, they were shocked by what they saw.

There were four two-meter-high giant wolves, and the most frightening one was the monster that led them.

The monstrous monster had a body four meters tall. He had the posture of a giant human, his canine teeth looming out of his mouth, and he carried a container made of stone.

“K’why there is such a terrible monster in this forest.” Said one of the royal soldiers.

“Everything's running.!” shouted one of the people leading their way.

They also ran with all their might to descend the mountain.

But, their struggle was in vain, they were successfully followed by two giant wolves.

(*The injured citizen lost one arm)

When one of the wolves was about to kill the citizens he had captured, the head of the soldier who led their way attacked the wolf with a spear.

The wolf jumped back in shock.

(*When attacking, the warrior head uses reinforcement magic, and coats its weapon with magic energy)

“You go, I'll buy time for you.” Speak the head of the soldier leading the journey.

“But how about you,” asked a resident.

“I am the one leading you, Your safety is my responsibility, therefore do not care about me and go.” The soldier's head.

“Do not be so captain, I will accompany you until the end.” Said one of the soldiers.

“Haaah, how else would you, we also join captain.” Said another soldier.

“You heard no. Go and don't waste our lives.” Firmly head the soldier on the citizens who follow.

Because nothing could be done, the five citizens who participated were forced to leave the remaining seven soldiers.

After a long run, there was a voice calling out to them.

“Hey, come here” said the man.

That person was one of the citizens who disappeared after hunting into the cone mountain.

Without a second thought they followed the man until they finally reached the cave.

In order to survive, they occasionally sneak out in search of food. But they are afraid to return to the village and prefer to wait for reinforcements.

After a few days, when they were out to find food near the cave, they suddenly heard the sound of people being chased by one of the wolves.

Without a second thought, they find out and intend to save the person.

The person who wanted to be saved turned out to be the eldest daughter of one of the residents trapped in the mountain, she was Hana's older sister.

With stones and rotten eggs in the woods, Hana's father and friends outwit the wolf and save his son.

They went back to the cave to hide.

“So well, It must be very heavy well,” Erik said which was very sad when listening to their story.

We can only look down sad after listening to their stories.

With this, only nine citizens survived, including Hana and her older sister of twenty-seven who set out for the conical mountain.

“There is no hope for us,” said one resident in a weak tone.

“Maybe this sounds difficult, but you shouldn't have sacrificed your lives just for us,” Hana's father told us,

“Do not worry, we will take you all to the village safely.” Said erik while encouraging them.

“You can say that because you did not see the monster directly. Never mind, what a little boy like you can do.” Shouted the residents who had just sat down to look down while shedding tears.

We were also silent because of his words.

Grandpa Roy spoke up.

“Then you will just give up and die in vain,?” grandpa Roy told them.

“If it is, I will only take Hana and her sister home.” Grandpa Roy.

Grandfather held Hana and left them, we could only follow grandfather because he was out of words.

“What is this really the best cake,?” I asked grandpa.

“Now, at least we wait for them outside, grandfather hope they want to change their mind and come with us.” Answer grandfather Roy

After waiting for a few minutes, none of them came out of the cave.

“Come, we're leaving. We think of a way to convince them after driving Hana home.” Grandpa said to us,
