Dusk had graced the sky that afternoon. But the sky is not very clearly visible because it is covered by a grove of trees in a dense and towering wilderness.
A truck was driving down the road in the woods. Inside the truck, a yerim sits next to the man who takes him to the city.
It had been fifteen minutes that the truck was walking through the forest. There was no conversation between Jerim and the man. Until the man occasionally glanced towards the yerim.
"What's your name?". Ask the man.
Yerim saw the man.
"Come of Jerim Kapitsa." Answer yerim.
"Oh, I want a coma." Greet the man.
"Don't call a comma. Just yerim enough." Yerim makes it clear.
"All right, son of yerim." Said the man.
"Son? Not son. Just yerim enough." Jerim protests.
"Yes my. Okay, yerim." Say that guy again.
"Jerim! Don't just wear it."
"God. Alright. Yerim." Said the man with a little emphasis.
The man became confused seeing the yerim's attitude. For her this young girl was the strangest person she had ever met in her life. He did not expect that there were humans who had a jerim-like attitude.
"And what should I call you?". Yerim asked a little sarcastically.
The man widened his eyes. He glanced at Yerim. He felt a little surprised when he heard the phrase yerim to himself. How could a young girl not have a good word? Nor does he have any courtesy to people older than him.
"Call me Uncle jodi." Answer the man flat.
Jerim scrunched his forehead. He seemed a little confused to hear the answer from the man.
"Uncle? That's your name?". Ask yerim again.
"No. I'm Jodi. But you call him uncle jodi." Obviously uncle jodi.
"Oh. Jodis. Alright." Yerim said a little sniffling.
"Oh." Said uncle jodi.
Uncle jodi patted his forehead a little strongly with his palm.
"You why jodi?". Just ask plain yerim.
"Jerim. You can't call someone older than you just a name. That's not polite. There should be a word of respect in front of the name of the person you're calling." Said uncle jodi.
"meaning?". Jerim asked as if he wanted an explanation.
Uncle jodi took a deep breath.
"Lookin yerim. I'm older than you. It seems our age is far away. So you shouldn't just call my name. You should add in front of him the name uncle. That's why I told you, just call me uncle jodi. Do you understand that?" Ask uncle jodi.
"Hm... Yes I understand. Alright. Uncle jodi." Answer the plain yerim.
"Good son." Uncle jodi.
"Son? My name is yerim uncle jodi." Yerim protest again.
Back yerim scrunched his forehead.
"But only my mother calls me son." Yerim polo.
"Every older person can call the young boy." Welcome uncle jodi back to clarify.
Jerim just nodded his head.
Uncle jodi occasionally looked towards Yerim. He was still confused to see the current state of Jerim. Where yerim wear clothes that are never worn by humans today. Yerim's appearance looks like it was in the Edo period. A time that once existed in Japan.
Yerim clothing color that is not as bright as the sun. Looks crumpled and shabby. Not to mention that both of his feet did not wear protective footwear. Where the soles of his feet look plain without any sandals or shoes that coat both feet. Not to mention her hair that looks tangled.
That's why uncle jodi was a little afraid to approach jerim. Because the appearance of the yerim is not like the human he usually sees in the City or in the Countryside that he once visited every time he traveled to come to this wilderness.
It does not feel they have an hour to travel to the settlement of residents. About an hour or so the truck driven by uncle Kodi will come out of this wilderness and reach the nearest settlement. The first village that will be met after coming out of the wilderness.
Uncle jodi looked towards the front. Carefully he drove a truck loaded with his crops to the City.
Uncle Jodi looked at the clock that was coiled around his left wrist. Time shows at 05:30 PM.
The color of the sky began to fade. Until it almost turned dark. But the moon still has not greeted the horizon at dusk this time. Though usually if it is in the higher plains or mountains, the moon has begun to show itself even though it is still not too clearly visible in the eyes of humans who look at it.
"Yerim, where did you come from? Why are you in this wilderness?". Ask uncle jodi.
Actually since the beginning of uncle jodi saw yerim, his mind had begun to wonder about the figure of yerim. How could a young girl like a yerim be inside the wilderness? Where did this young girl come from?
There was no way this girl was from the village first after coming out of this forest. Because the position of the yerim is really right in the middle of the forest. Too far from the first village.
"I'm from my house uncle jodi." Answer the plain yerim.
"Where's your house, son yerim?". Ask uncle jodi still curious.
"My house isn't far from where my uncle found me." Answer jeremy again.
"Huh? Was there really a house in the woods?" Ask uncle jodi back, to pry deeper information from yerim.
Yerim turned his gaze towards uncle jodi.
"There is certainly an uncle. I live in the village in the wilderness. And in that village there's my mother's house." Light yerim to uncle jodi.
Uncle jodi frowned. His brain thought hard to digest every word of the jerim. Confirm the truth of every word that comes out of the mouth of Jerim.
But his mouth remained tightly locked. It has not begun to respond to every answer that comes out of the mouth of Jerim.
"Oh yes uncle. Actually I've been wanting to ask uncle." Yerim plain.
Uncle jodi looked towards yerim for a moment. Then he turned his eyes straight ahead.
"What do you want to ask uncle son?" Ask uncle jodi.
"That's uncle..." Yerim word severed.
"What son? What do you want to ask? Tell uncle." replied uncle jodi with a friendly smile.
Yerim scratched his head with the fingers of his right hand. Then he put his palms on his knees.
"Actually what are we sitting on right now uncle? Why is something like this wood able to walk? Very good uncle. All my life, I've never seen this thing." Yerim returned with enthusiasm and innocence.
"Huhhhh?!!!" Uncle jodi became even more confused.
