Dwiki rushed out of the house, when he saw Winona coming there. The young woman just got out of the luxury car that she always drives herself. The former Arsenio fiancee then stood up for a moment while raising the sunglasses she was wearing, when she saw the figure of a man with a relaxed look coming to greet her.
Yes, at that time Dwiki only wore a short-sleeved round neck t-shirt red heart, combined with light brown short cargo pants. As footwear, Dwiki prefers old-fashioned flip-flops that still survive and become favorites to date. "Thank God you're not lost" he said as he stood before Winona.
"Where to get lost. You gave a very clear address," the young lady replied with a smile. He then looked around, then observed Dwiki's residence.
"I should have been working on this for fifteen years. However, since that time happened to have a very good boss, so I was able to pay off faster. This is how it is, just a simple house" he said without waiting for comments from Winona.
"It's okay" said the long-haired beauty. He then turned to Dwiki while taking off his glasses from the top of his hair. "So, you won't allow me to enter or do I have to report to RT?" ask Winona who has been sore standing, but not too long.
"Oh yes. Come on," take Dwiki. He put his hand to the inside of the house. After climbing about five steps on the side, the two arrived at the terrace. They entered the house with the door open.
"Please sit down." Dwiki pointed his hand at the sofa, which of course was not as luxurious as in Winona's house. "I'm sorry that it's always a mess here. Understand the name is also a bachelor," said the twenty-seven-year-old single.
"Don't worry. I don't want to survey your house" said Winona casually. The young woman sat down. He again swept his gaze at every corner of the simple living room that directly faced the other room. There was a sky blue raspur carpet. The object was deliberately placed in front of a 32-inch flat-screen television. There is also a new play station, complete with sticks and some tapes in a special place.
Winona smiled slightly. The house does show the side of a bachelor. There was nothing there that signified a woman's distinctive touch. "Can you play guitar?" asked the daughter of Biantara, when Dwiki had returned with two glasses of orange-flavored cold drink. It was also bought suddenly from a store not far from his home. Dwiki is not sure if Winona consumes a soft drink, which is always available in the refrigerator.
"Yes, sometimes. When I was in high school and in college, I used to be a member of a band. It's good, it could be a weapon to hook the girls," he joked. Winona laughed when she heard that. "Come, have a drink. This is called bold syrup," pointed Dwiki on two glasses containing orange-flavored drinks earlier.
"Why is that?" ask Winona not understand.
"Because you dare to appear unaccompanied by snacks," said Dwiki again while scratching the nape of his head.
"Gosh," said Winona who was again made to laugh by the insignificant jolts of singles with hair that began to mound. "Whoa, when I'm close to you I laugh a lot" Winona said again covering her mouth with the back of her hand.
"Laugh it off, Non. Before it was banned," replied Dwiki.
"Who would forbid us to laugh?" Winona seemed to frown.
"People who are having a toothache" Dwiki chanted lightly. "Those who are having a toothache hate seeing people nearby happy" the man continued. "I remember when I was in high school" recalls Dwiki.
"You must have had a lot of girlfriends at school" Winona responded.
"Ah, not really. I have a lot of friends. In one gang there were about ten people. It just so happened that we were going to visit one of our sick friends. According to his parents, he has a pretty severe disease," said Dwiki who suddenly put on a serious look.
"Then?" Winona who saw the change in Dwiki's attitude, became serious when responding to it.
"We all pray for him to recover. However, one of my best friends commented ...." Dwiki paused his words, making Winona look curious. "He said that even his neighbors who had such diseases could not survive for long and eventually died. After that, the mother of my sick friend kicked us all out of there." Dwiki ended his story that was really unimportant.
While Winona immediately lowered her head. He covered his mouth again as he held back a laugh. But that didn't work. His laughter exploded as he imagined what Dwiki had told him. Winona didn't even stop laughing for a while.
"I know, if a woman laughs excessively for something that's not too funny, then she's hiding a problem in her. You did that from last night," explained Dwiki with an attitude that now looks much calmer, and very different from the ridiculousness he had just shown.
"You're watching me in such detail?" Winona felt that there was something strange about her.
"I'm used to doing that to every opponent I talk to. That way, I can adjust, because not everyone is happy with jokes or vice versa. There are also people who do not want to discuss something too serious. However, not a few also pretend calm and happy just to ...." Dwiki did not continue his words, when the typical voice of a traveling merchant sounded.
"Want to?" bargained for.
"What?" ask Winona.
"Siomay is very cheap, but the taste of the spice is not inferior to that sold in a famous mall. You should try it." Without waiting for a response from Winona, Dwiki immediately got up from the chair. He rushed to the outside, then called the siomay merchant in a wheelbarrow that happened to pass in front of the house. After that, Dwiki went back in to pick up two dishes. He also invites Winona, to choose directly what the young woman wants to enter.
A few moments later, the two of them returned in. Something unusual happened to Arsenio's ex-fiancee. All the arrogance and coldness that is stiff, immediately fade easily when near Dwiki the flip-flop lover.
The boring Winona character, as Arsenio told Dwiki a while ago, was nowhere to be seen at all. A huge question mark appeared in the hearts of the twenty-seven-year-old single. Arsenio apparently did not recognize Winona well, or indeed the man did not intend to know him because there was never interest. This makes Dwiki feel curious, to be able to get to know the figure of Winona further.
"Where have you been working all this time?" winona asked shortly after finishing the cheap siomay meal earlier.
"I don't have a regular job yet. At first, I worked as a trust adjutant of someone who was very good and could be said to be a big contribution in my life," said Dwiki while washing the dirty dishes used to eat earlier. While Winona only pay attention, because she is not used to doing household chores.
"Great service?" reset Winona.
"Yes. He has financed my father's entire treatment for kidney failure. I really appreciate it, even though in the end he still had to give up and ...." Dwiki smiled crazily.
Winona was silent for a moment hearing that. "I'm so sorry" he said slowly.
"Thank you, but it was a few years ago" replied Dwiki. He again put a warm face in front of Winona who already looked moody and serious. Dwiki also finished his work.
"Then, now what's your plan? I mean ... about work," asked Winona. His eyes follow every move Dwiki looks have been used to doing household chores.
"I don't know yet. Actually to just eat and buy cigarettes, I used to help a friend in the workshop. However, it can't serve as the main occupation, unless the workshop is my own." Dwiki smiled calmly.
"What if I offered you a job?"
"Where?"
"Become my personal driver" replied Winona.
