Amanda just got kicked out of a job for no reason. Of course the beautiful and smart girl was not accepting. The reason he was expelled was very unacceptable to him, which was because he rejected the love of the superior.
A man who was married and much older liked Amanda. He's Amanda's boss. The man wanted to make Amanda his second wife. Of course Amanda refused, and ended with dismissal of him.
Amanda decided to leave Jakarta and return to her hometown, a small town in Sumatra. Because the cost of living in Jakarta is very expensive especially with the condition he does not work.
Instead of getting a welcome from her mother, Amanda was blamed for the decision.
"Mommy really regrets your decision, Amanda! Already know our economy is morat marit, you even stop working?" Marnita pokes against Amanda.
"But what do you want me to do if I become my boss's fat mistress?" Amanda strikes back at her mother with questions, hoping her mother has a bit of pity for her.
"Amanda, you know that our condition is not okay. Ever since your father fell ill and died, our catering business went bankrupt. The cost of living depends on you. Now your sister's gonna need a big fee for her school!" Marnita continues to sue Amanda without pity.
The girl could not dwell now, as she was also very aware of the state of the family. Amanda was also confused as to how they would move on with life after this.

That morning, while enjoying coffee, Amanda approached Marnita. Feelings of discomfort also come to Amanda, seeing from the gurgle of the mother.
"Manda, you remember that friend of yours named Miranti, don't you?" ask Marnita while sitting on one of the sofas in the room.
Amanda's thoughts soon connect with Miranti, her best friend when High School was. Amanda nodded. "Yes, Mom. Of course I remember."
"You're still communicating with each other?" ask Marnita again.
"Not for a long time, Mom. What's up?" Amanda didn't understand what her mother meant.
"Now he has become a successful culinary entrepreneur in this city," continued Marnita.
"Oh yeah? Miranti is now a businessman? What effort, Mom?" ask Amanda enthusiastically. A flash of hope was suddenly tucked in his mind.
"Whatever I hear, he has a culinary business, but I don't know for sure. Ng. restaurant maybe." Marnita tried to guess.
"If we had listened to the words of father and mother to help manage our catering business, surely now our business would not be what it is today." Marnita again cornered her eldest daughter.
"That tyrant, started his business from scratch, and he can be successful now," Marnita continued without thinking about her daughter's feelings. "We know, how was your best friend?" Marnita continued to say sentence after sentence that attacked Amanda's heart.
Amanda tried to be patient with her mother who seemed to lose control. Amanda is just trying to understand the condition of her mother who is currently experiencing a lot of pressure.
His mother used to live a luxurious life long ago, then suddenly had to lose everything and now some of their assets are threatened to have to be sold to pay debts.

Amanda drives down the highway along the beach in town X. He had been down this road for a long time, because of the busy work in Jakarta, making Amanda rarely come home. His last return was when his father died about two years ago, and it was only one week at home, and he had to return to Jakarta soon.
Amanda's trying to find Miranti's restaurant. From an old friend, Amanda got the address and name of the restaurant.
Amanda pulled the car over to the right side of the road, and entered a parking lot, precisely in a classic-style restaurant, and in front of it was displayed a neon box that read Miranti Kitchen.

"Good afternoon, sister," said a servant girl.
Amanda replied with a smile. He continued walking through the room, and was accompanied by the waiter.
"In the backyard it can be, too, Brother." The service told Amanda that the restaurant also had an outdoor area.
"Owh, is there open space too?" ask Amanda while looking at the waiter.
"There, Brother. Let me drop off" said his servant.
They walk towards a hallway that connects the main room of the restaurant with the back room.
Amanda's eyes immediately widened in awe to see the amazingly beautiful and dazzling scenery before her eyes.
An open space designed like a garden, which blends with the sea. Even some of the buildings jutted into the sea, making it seem as if they were floating.
"What a great Miranti." Amanda was amazed.
