My wife Kuntilanak

My wife Kuntilanak
Chapter 62. The Secret of Rani

"I'm not an actor, Ma'am. I am also the legitimate wife of Mas Aksa. I have an official married book," the Goddess replied.

"Can you say that? How can anyone be polygamous without the permission of the first wife? Don't fuck with you, yeah."

Rani's tears have been shed. His clenched hands firmly held back the emotions. The chest of the kempis set the breath so as not to be tight.

"Tell me, when did you marry Mas Aksa? When's? Why don't I know? I can sue you both!"

The goddess gasped at Rani's voice getting higher. Sometimes his eyes glanced at the husband who was lying on the hospital bed.

"Sir, we'll talk later, yeah. We talk outside" said Dewi did not answer Rani's question.

"ANSWERE MY QUESTION NOW!" rani screeched with a trembling body. His eyes had been reddened shedding many tears.

The goddess was shocked. The two nets were wide open, with the right hand rubbing the chest.

"Astaghfirullah, Rani. It's in the hospital. Don't scream, do it. You want to kill your husband?"

A woman in brown clothes entered the room with a sour face. He put a plastic bag on the table and said, "Goddess, here is your lunch. Just rest up."

Rani was shocked to hear that. Disbelief, but her mother-in-law spoke to the Goddess as if she was very familiar.

"So you know about this too? Why am I the only one being lied to? Why?" Rani was sitting limp on the hospital floor. His cheeks were cramped because he had been crying too much.

"Rani, stand. We're talking outside, "take Aksa's mother with us.

"Mom, I came all the way here with mixed feelings, after hearing Mas Aksa's accident. I left my son now in the IGD. Butwhat? Is this what I got?" rani said with a trembling voice.

He was already resigned to sitting on the floor, because his legs were no longer strong enough to support his body to stand

"I could have left Nada in the hospital, for the sake of the man who had only minor injuries on his hands and feet. Plus there's his mistress accompanying."

Rani wailed sadly. The tightness in his chest grew bigger. His eyes bead looked at Aksa who was lying down with nanar. Really, a fracture wound or fracture cannot be said to be a minor injury. But Rani's heart was already sick.

"Yes, Rani. Forgive us for not talking to you in the first place. But we can't talk here. It can bother your husband as well as other patients" Aksa's mother said gently.

Rani let out a rough breath. I don't know what else he'll say now. His heart is broken. Her worry about her husband has turned to hate.

But in order to maintain his household, Rani finally agreed to move places and discuss this issue more seriously.

...***...

"So when has it been?" Rani immediately railed against Dewi and her mother-in-law, after they moved to the back of the hospital which was quite quiet.

"I have been married for five years to Mas Aksa, before he became the village head," replied Dewi in a low voice.

"Five years? You've been lying to me all that time?" Rani's shoulders moved up and down, along with her rough-sounding grunt. "What do you think I am?"

"You're Mom's daughter-in-law. The Goddess is also the daughter-in-law of Mother. It makes no difference" replied Aksa's mother firmly.

"Mom's work made me like a gini. Any woman wants to be polygamous, ma'am. This marriage is not legal. I can sue all of you" Rani said sniffly.

"What's good about taking people's husbands?" reply Rani with a high note.

"Not Mbak himself who used to ask for the same talak Mas Aksa then told him to marry again, just because of trivial problems? Do you know what he's going through, after you split the bed first?" balas Dewi.

Rani was silent for a moment. He used to fight with Aksa, because he was forbidden to go on holidays abroad with his fellow tourists. At that time their financial condition was mediocre, and their first child was still very small.

Rani also accused Aksa as an incompetent man as a husband. It wasn't the first time Rani was angry over a trivial matter. She said she let Aksa find a woman who is better than her if she can. But Aksa kept his household.

For weeks they kept fighting and Rani asked for a divorce. Aksa who was too tired with the childish nature, finally dropped two talaq on Rani Juwita.

After some time, Rani finally asked for a referral. Aksa obeyed. But who would have thought, in the interval of six months Aksa's heart so quickly turned to other women.

"A month after Aksa married Dewi, you asked for a referral. The goddess allowed it. He is also willing if more Aksa time is given to you. Several times you want to be reunited, but you always refuse Aksa's invitation to family gatherings," said Rani's mother-in-law.

"But that reason can't be allowed. I'm Aksa's first wife. I'm more entitled to her than this woman!" Rani pointed at the face of the Goddess violently.

"Don't be like that, Rani. She's a nice woman who got married in a nice way. She was even willing to give birth without a husband, because Aksa accompanied you on vacation in Bali." Aksa's mother again defended the Goddess.

"Yes that's the mistress. She wants to do anything, as long as people's husbands stay on her side" said Rani. "Here you go, I'm tired."

She left them, without a word. She did not visit her husband again in the hospital room.

...***...

Brak! Rani opens the door to her house violently, leaving her two daughters stunned. Moreover, Nada who has not recovered properly from her fever.

"You two go into the room, yeah. Mama is busy," said Rani with a ketus.

Without rebutting, Najla also pulled the arm of the sister and took her to the room. The little girl knew that her mother was not okay.

After closing the front door, Rani enters her room. Her tears are still seeping. His body was still trying to stand up, and opened his closet.

A strand of long hair descended from the ceiling, followed by a dull white bloody shirt. The pale-faced figure and empty eyes were staring at Rani in surprise.

"Why is she crying? Has he reached his end?" The creepy figure floated down and turned into a beautiful high school girl. He could not watch his friend cry.

"Basin the accuser! He could have cheated on me" Rani said.

With an erratic feeling, Rani tidied up the items in the suitcase. Tomorrow morning though with sadness, he still wants to vacate his house with Aksa in this village. His heart was too angry at Aksa.

"Ah, so he already knows that Aksa has another wife?" Kinanti rubbed Rani's hair gently to calm her down. Even though the poor woman couldn't feel it.

"Why is my life falling apart, anyway?" Rani throws Aksa's cloths in any direction.

"But I have been struggling to get rid of all the women from Aksa's side, including the poor Kinanti. But why is there still another woman who fills his heart?"

"What?" Kinanti's finely-tuned fingers turned into sharp claws and pale skin.
