Chapter 2 Mother-in-law

The sun had already started to rise, the two innocent bodies were still drowning in his beautiful dreams. Last night they spent a lot of energy enjoying their first night. They had just slept at dawn and had forgotten their obligation to pray at dawn. Zara began to squirm and looked for an even more comfortable position in Reydan's arms. But when she opened her eyes, Zara looked out the window, which showed a bright morning, and she raised her head and saw that her husband was still asleep. Remembering last night's incident Zara couldn't help but smile. Last night Reydan really did it gently.

Reydan began to move small with his eyes half open, feeling that someone was looking at him he immediately opened his eyes.

“Good morning dear,” said as her eyes were perfectly open. Zara smiled then kissed Reydan's cheek. “morning also Mas.”

“Kok Only on the cheeks, his lips also dong dear,”

“Udah dong mas was last night already. We better get up now. We ordered food this morning. Later in the day we're shopping monthly.”

“Yaudah, I took a shower first. You order the food first.”

“Iya,” Zara replied.

Reydan nodded then uncovered his blanket and got off his bed walking towards the bathroom. Zara covered her face when she saw that innocent body. Even though he saw her last night, he was embarrassed. Zara could only stand in her heart. Instead of him lingering on the bed for a long time, it's better now that he's looking for the clothes Reydan threw last night.

“Awshhh” ringisnya when getting out of bed.

Zara felt pain in her female part. He was forced to walk slowly because he was still not used to it. After taking his clothes back, Zara immediately put them on and only then did she prepare Reydan's clothes. By the time he prepared Reydan's clothes, his bell was ringing. Zara rushed down to open the door. In his heart he asked who came this morning.

As she opened the door, a middle-aged woman appeared to stand before her with a bushel of food in her hand.The woman immediately smiled when she saw Zara.

“Loh, Mom. Why didn't you say you wanted to come?” wonder Zara. The woman standing before him right now was Asri, his mother.

“Mama has sent a message before coming here, you are the same as hp. Mom just wants to send food for you. Mama knows you guys must not cook because it has not been shopping.” Answer Asri.

“Yes let Mama in first. Zara just woke up Ma. So the house still has not been taken.” Zara opened the door wide and let her mother in.

Asri entered while looking at the contents in the house of the child and his daughter-in-law. He had indeed been here but Asri did not see in detail about the house. After he noticed again, the house they lived in turned out to be quite large even though it seemed very simple. In the living room there are three sofas complete with pillows and television. The living room also looks more comfortable than the living room. Even so, Asri sure in their room must be more comfortable than the outside appearance.

“Where is the kitchen? Mama wants to prepare her food first. You served your husband there first!?”

“Mas Reyand another bath, maybe soon it will go down, let's let Zara help Ma”

Zara took over the food that Asri brought, she took him to the kitchen by walking slowly. Asri frowned looking at her daughter's strange ways. However, he seemed to understand why Zara was like that. He could only shake his head while following Zara into the kitchen.

Reydan had just finished taking a bath, he immediately picked up the clothes his wife had prepared. He quickly put it on and rushed downstairs for breakfast. Reydan thought Zara was done ordering her food. Reydan went down the stairs and walked to the kitchen looking for Zara. Upon arriving in the kitchen he saw his wife who was busy preparing food, Reydan approached and hugged her from behind to make Zara surprised.

“What food order?” ask her by tightening her embrace on Zara's waist.

Without even looking, Zara knew who was holding her. “This mama nganterin food so I did not order deh,” replied Zara while moving her fried chicken to the plate that had been provided.

Reydan raised his eyebrows in confusion. “Mama came here?”

“Iya, try you see behind.”

Reydan said, he let go of his embrace and looked back. And sure enough, his in-laws were really there. Asri smiled faintly at Reydan's clumsy reaction to being affectionate with his wife.

“Eh Mama, when come ma?” greet Reydan directly while greeting Asri.

“Newly come. Mama and Zara had breakfast. You better eat soon.”

“Loh, Mama did not come to breakfast?” wonder Reydan who is also called Zara.

“Mama actually only want to send food, but because the mama's child is hard to walk, yes, mama has helped me aja,” said Asri while glancing at Zara who had bowed shyly.

Reydan also misbehaved even though it was addressed to Zara, but still he was the main culprit.

“Ya already then Mama came home. Later when will mom and dad come here again.”

Zara hugged her mother and then kissed her left right cheek. It feels like the word thank you is not enough to be given to Asri who has been taking care of him since in the womb. Zara really loves her mother, but that doesn't mean she doesn't love her father. Both of them are the most loved ones in the world.

“Mama take care of health yes, Zara love same mom. Sorry if Zara likes to make mama difficult. Now that Zara is an adult, Zara's paradise moves to Mas Reydan. Thank you for taking good care of Zara.” said Zara with glassy eyes.

 Asri hugged Zara even tighter while stroking the princess's hair.

“don't cry dong, shame on your husband tuh,” tuk Asri while removing tears Zara with her hands. Reydan just smiled looking at his wife's spoiled attitude.

Zara let go of her embrace then looked at Asri again. “essentially Mama should come here often yes. Zara will definitely miss the same nagging Mama.”

“Yakin you Mama should come here often?” ask Asri.

Zara nodded.

“Ya Mama has come home, baby, you are good here with Reydan. Don't argue with husband.”

After saying that Asri rushed home with Reydan escorted to the front. Zara immediately waited for Reydan at the dining table with a puffy face. Now he felt relieved after revealing his heart. Actually, Zara wanted to say that from yesterday but did not have time because of the many invited guests and after all yesterday Asri was busy blending in with her besan namely the parents of her husband, Reydan.

Reydan returned after dropping off his mother-in-law. He pulled out a chair and decided to sit next to Zara. Zara deftly brought her rice and side dishes to Reydan. “You want to stop mas?” ask Zara.

“By deh but not much ya.”

“Iya Mas.”

After taking it for Reydan, Zara also took it for herself. He took enough and then started eating.

Daylight

In accordance with what he said last night, this afternoon Reydan really accompanied his wife to shop for groceries and other purposes. By riding a motorcycle they go to their destination. Zara did not complain even though she had to overheat because of riding the bike. She understands the condition of her husband who is still not stable in terms of economy. Their marriage costs alone also get help from both their parents. They have just graduated from college so it is still reasonable if they do not have enough economy. Zara hugged Reydan's body tightly and leaned her head there. Reydan saw it from the rearview mirror, Zara's flying hair despite wearing a helmet makes her look adorable. In her heart she was grateful that Zara could understand her circumstances. He promised himself that he would find a job soon. Zara does not demand anything from him but that does not mean he will be silent.

Reydan stopped his motorbike at one of the famous supermarkets in his area. He immediately parked his motorbike while removing his helmet. And so is Zara. Reydan pulled out the key then took Zara's hand and invited her in. Zara immediately picked up the grocery trolley and searched for the ingredients she was looking for.

“Mas, want shrimp not?” asked Zara while pointing towards the fresh shrimp.

“By deh, but you are allergic to shrimp”

“Yes only eat, I can eat another later,”

Without waiting for Reydan's approval, Zara took two packs of shrimp and put them in her trolley. Zara continues her steps accompanied by Reydan who pushes her trolley.

It does not feel they have spent an hour just to choose cooking ingredients and others. Of course because there is a lot of debate between Reydan and Zara. As of now, Reydan sighed seeing his wife who was only taking what she needed. Honestly Reydan doesn't matter if Zara really wants to buy what she wants. Reydan's money is Zara's money, too. He forces Zara to shop as she wishes, but Zara refuses raw.

“Mas, let's pay first!” take Zara along while trying to pull her hand.

 Reydan was speechless while looking into Zara's eyes “You sure you just want to do this shopping? Isn't your makeup and skincare also almost gone. If you want to buy, buy it, baby. I haven't got a job yet but that doesn't mean I can't meet your needs.”

Zara paused for a moment then clasped Reydan's hand and looked at him lovingly. Her husband always forced her to shop as she wished. Zara could understand her husband's concerns. He just wanted to try to be responsible with his happiness. But Zara is also not a wasteful type of person. After all, his skincare was still there even though there was only a little left. Zara smiled and then said.

“Not Zara refused what Mas wanted to give, but for now Zara still does not need. Later if it's really over I'll buy it. I'm sorry, but I don't want to appreciate Mas's effort.

Reydan raised his hand and gently stroked the top of Zara's head. He was confused as to what to say. Having Zara in his life was the most beautiful thing for him. Reydan knows women like Zara is not much. He is understanding and can accept Reydan's situation with all his heart. “Ya already so we pay continue to go home.” Reydan said in the end.
