Andi POV
The last day of the independence race has begun. The race today is pretty tight. From 7 o'clock to 9 o'clock there is a Smart final race meticulous, Ranking 1, and Video. All three races were held simultaneously. Then continued with the final tarek mine until zuhur. Lastly, a race whose preparation has been done from the first day.3 betel nut already standing gallantly ready to be climbed.
Of the 3 races held simultaneously, Ranking 1 became my choice. One of the reasons is because my class is smart enough to lose, while for the Video race I have asked someone for help.
According to the module, the video contest is a video that contains 2 days of race at school, each class is allowed to edit in any style with a maximum duration of 5 minutes. During the 2 days that passed, I often saw students/i who brought a camera or other recording equipment, including my class.4 people among Fauzan, Fifi, and others, Gita and Ayu became my class representative team that made the video. I hope they make a good work.
Another reason I chose to see Rank 1 was that Tia became one of my class representatives. Considering he's the smartest guy in the class, I want to know how broad the insight he has.
“ready Tia?”
“you can Kok Tiaa”
“iyaa, thanks Andi and Nabila. The rest Bismillah again.”.
Each class is required to send 3 class representatives. Tia, Farah, and Anita became my class representatives. You could say the three of them are students who always get high grades.
This race has easy rules, the committee will read about it and the participants answer. If true, the participant will proceed to the next question, while if the wrong participant is declared dead. Based on the module, the questions include general insights and knowledge that still covers Indonesia. Given both majors are contested so it is unfair if the question addresses one of the majors.
There are 72 students/i who follow Rank 1, but there are only 3 winners for each class. So if there are 3 participants in the same class survive to the end, the three of them will be counted as one.
“Halooo allanyaaa...!!!”
“halloo!!!”
“this time we will start a race that challenges the insight and knowledge we have!!! Especially if it's not Ranking 1!!”
The spirit of the host makes the audience excited. The growing number of spectators also added to the excitement of Rank one. The cause is the same as the cause of yesterday's drawing race, Acha.
My childhood friend and according to what I heard he was also one of the flower bouquets at this school, following Ranking 1. In this race, I think Acha is the toughest competitor.
“well. Since all participants are already in place, we will start with the first question”
Suddenly the spirit of the audience was restrained. Everyone was silent and ready to listen to the first question.
“who is the name of the first president in Indonesia?”
The crowd spirit that had been restrained now broke when it heard the first question. A question that is very easy and known by all students/i.
“please write the answer in 1 minute”
Each participant is loaned a small whiteboard, then they simply bring a writing tool in the form of a marker to write down each answer to the question given.
“good time is up, everyone please lift the answer”
All participants wrote the same answer because it was the correct answer.
“and the answer is Ir. Sukarno!!! It's okay not to use the title Engineer. The answer is correct if you write Soekarno”
None of the participants was wrong. Naturally, this school is one of the schools with a high level of difficulty to be able to enter. Then these participants are students/i representatives of each class that I believe is a student/i with high knowledge and insight.
The second question, three, even up to eight. No participants came out, all seven questions were answered correctly by all participants.
“no one has fallen yet, meaning about the ninth we will increase the difficulty again”
It is true that the host said, every 3 questions that have been given increased level.
“the ninth question, what is the full name of the Indonesian songwriter Raya?.. remember yes the full name, if abbreviated is considered wrong even though it is true.”
The majority of people only know the abbreviation of the name of the Indonesian songwriter Raya, W.R. Soepratchem. From this question I am sure there will be participants who fall. The reason is simple, almost all textbooks or song collection books always write the abbreviation W.R. Soepratchem.
“tau Ndi the answer?” Nabila asked with her confused face.
“more precisely doubt anyway, W.R.nya not the name of Indonesia.if not wrong W.R. it stands for Wage Rudolf.”.
“hmm yes, there is no such Indonesian name. Maybe one of his parents was Dutch East Indies?”
“can be anyway, let me read again about his biography”
I found out from an article about the Indonesian national anthem Raya. In the article the author's name is not abbreviated, therefore I can tell. At that time I was also surprised to learn that the abbreviation W.R. was that.
“well time is up, please lift the answer”
It seems there are a few different answers. Someone will definitely fall for the question this time.
“the answer is!!!...Wage Rudolf Soepratman!!”
One, two, three, a total of 12 people were killed. Unfortunately, one of the 12 people was Anita, one of the three representatives of my class. Unfortunately again, the toughest competitor, Acha, also still survives.
“maybe can before the question appears Nabila already out first..”.
“then if Andi who came to the second problem may have come out..”.
We humbled each other.
“right also yes Bil, somehow the question number 2 can lupaku..”.
Now only I forget question number 2, if not wrong still about the president of the past.
“serious??”
“iya that, hadeh..”
“haha..it looks like the effect of hunger tuu..”.
Last morning I did not have time to eat breakfast for the reason that is common is late wake up. Last night we rehearsed long enough and made my sleeping hours hit.
“seems like after this should eat first”
Rank 1 continues.
Question 16, Farah and more than 5 students/i fall. remaining 38 participants including Tia and Acha. Furthermore, every question is always 1 to 3 participants who fall.
At the end of the 27th question, the surviving participants numbered 14.
“waaah without feeling there are already 14 people who survive, before continuing we want to know which class still survives.”
Although the participants fought alone, but they still on behalf of his class. So that the most representatives will benefit if they can survive to the end.
“surprisingly, of these 14 participants there are 8 different classes and only 1 class is still intact 3 representatives are class 2 Ipa A.”
The entire audience was silent.
From what I heard, Acha class is the strongest class in every race held at school. Even when they were first class, they could defeat 3rd class without giving a winning gap to those willing to pass.
(it seems that in the future I need to work harder to run Acha class.).
A little bit of my ambition in the future, there's a personal reason why I'm not in the race right now. Yes, because it preserves my identity. But I realized, not forever I can cover who I am, according to the maximum estimate until grade 3 later I can do it. The reason is not certain, but 2 years is enough to let people around me know me and at that time I did not seem to have to worry. I hope they will be around me not because there is anything, but what it is.
“28th question, name one 3rd presidential discovery recognized in the International world?”
I remember 3 B.J inventions. Habibie who is recognized by the international world, the problem is that I forgot the name. But still remember what are the discoveries, namely explaining the starting point of cracks in the wings and fuselage, making the aircraft to fit in all conditions and weather, and finally how to save on aircraft maintenance. At least that's what I remember.
“you know Ndi?”
“forget Bil, we better listen to the answer”
14 Participants raised their answers.
“ada 3 inventions, but only asked for one, and not explained is also okay. The answer is the first Habibie Factor that discusses the fuselage wing cracks, the, the second Habibie Theorem that discusses any material to make the aircraft to withstand all conditions and weather, such as, and the third Habibie Method that discusses how to save aircraft maintenance” The host explained the answer very clearly. “for the wrong, please leave the place” immediately
the remaining 6 participants, unfortunately Tia was not one of those 6 participants.
“sorry yes, Tia don't know the answer was”
“not what Tia, just relax. Can survive until the kayak was already great kok”
“iya right that said Andi, if I might not get that much.” Nabila also tried to calm Tia down.
“thanks Nabila, Andi.”.
Tia's match was great, proved there are 16 classes that did not manage to reach the 27th question.
“stakes 6 participants from 5 different classes.there are class 2 Ipa A with 2 participants, class 3 Ipa A with 1 participant, class 3 Ips A with 1 participant, class 3 Ips A with, class 1 Ips A with 1 participant and class 1 Ipa A with 1 participant.... very fierce, therefore our audience encourages the 6 participants who still survive!!!”
Audience cheers appear at the host's request.
“question 29, what is the long name of journalists who fought to spread independence throughout Indonesia?”
The silence of the audience increased when the question was read. Even some of the participants were silent at the thought of the answer.
(if not the wrong answer.).
