40. Jealously

Riana's attitude is increasingly stiff and awkward adjacent to Ethan after the incident he with widened eyes and clearly see Ethan's color that looks prominent.

Yes, Ethan forgot to close his restlseting when they met a client and Ethan went to the bathroom to pee. Luckily the client had gone home and they got in the car. So, don't embarrass Ethan because they've gone home first.

Ethan is confused by Riana's attitude which suddenly becomes submissive and does not talk to him much. Like this morning, he did his job well. Wear Ethan's shirt and tie without much talk.

"Riana, why are you so quiet?" ask Ethan.

"It's okay sir." replied Riana flatly.

Ethan asked a few times, but he answered nothing. Making her very upset, until in the office Riana was a lot of silence.

"He why the hell? Is it because of the time in the car?" ethan says.

Tok to tok.

"Lake in!"

The door opened, Riana entered with her flat face. Ethan stared inside Riana from the door until she got closer. He got up from his seat and approached Riana.

"What's wrong?" tanya Ethan stood in front of Riana with her arms crossed.

"There was a meeting with Miss Natasya sir" Riana said.

"Where?" ethan asked, looking at Riana.

"At the restaurant you used to meet." replied Riana.

Ethan is silent, he then pulls Riana's hand to sit on the sofa. Riana was silent, she was according to sitting on the sofa.

"Riana, why are you so stiff about me?" ask Ethan.

"It's okay sir." replied Riana.

"Are you lying?"

"No sir."

Ethan gave a rough snort, he moved his seat beside Riana. Staring at the girl, but Riana looked down instead. Now Ethan has the courage to hold Riana's chin so that the girl looks at him too.

"Gear at me" said Ethan.

But Riana glared and said flatly as usual, "don't be like that, it's an office."

"Heh, I wonder why are you keeping quiet so much? Is it because you saw my time on the car?" ethan asked, making Riana's face flushed.

"Don't talk about it!" said Riana.

"All right, you know. I like you, but it seems like I have to move faster and more unpredictably" Ethan said.

He got up from his seat and switched to his job. Riana was silent, she turned her head towards her boss who was sitting staring at her laptop. Now Ethan will be cold to Riana. Riana gets up, goes to Ethan's desk and tells his boss.

"One afternoon meeting with Miss Natasya" said Riana.

Riana looked at the boss for a bit, then she left before Ethan. No matter the man who was sulking.

During the day, at one or less ten minutes Ethan and Riana leave for the restaurant where the meeting with Natasya. As in previous days, they were silent. Ethan struggles with his thoughts on how to conquer Riana and make the girl angry.

While Riana only thinks about work, turning her mind that began to be disturbed by Ethan's attitude, Ethan's ridiculous treatment and the man's gaze.

He wanted to endure so as not to be tempted by the charm of that man. In the lyrics Riana towards her boss who was silent. Then, they arrive at the restaurant where the meeting with Natasya. The client that made Riana upset was actually, but Ethan had already signed a cooperation contract.

So, inevitably there were frequent meetings with the girl. Riana took a deep breath, she knew how to behave to the arrogant girl. Besides being lazy to argue, he would just shut up before his boss called out to him.

Apparently, Natasha hasn't come yet. Ethan and Riana are sitting together, Riana is busy with her laptop and Ethan is busy with his phone. He opened the news about cafes in England how he was doing.

One that made him smell about the cafe, it turned out to be quiet customers. Ethan smiled faintly reading an information about his cafe back in England that he managed with Jhonson.

Shortly, Natasha came. She walked up gracefully and waved as Ethan turned to her with a wide smile. Riana saw that, but she sneered at him. Ethan turned towards Riana. He knew the girl didn't like Natasha, and he had a new idea.

"Hi Miss Natasya." said Ethan immediately stood up.

"Oh, hi, Ethan. It's nice to see you again" Natasya said..

"Oh yeah? Of course with me too, it's the second meeting from yesterday" Ethan said.

Riana is shocked by Ethan's very friendly attitude towards Natasya, pulls out a chair for her and sits next to her. Like he didn't care about himself next to her.

Riana moved away from Ethan and Natasya. Ethan glanced at it, but did not forbid Riana from moving to sit. Now he switched back to Natasya, chatting casually and as if familiar with the girl.

Of course making Natasha happy, Ethan's attitude is different from the previous meeting. He's happy because Ethan doesn't care about his secretary.

"Okay, miss, we're talking about work" Ethan said.

"Why hurry, Ethan. I had plenty of time to hitchhike with you" Natasya said with a slight tease.

Of course making Riana turn her head and stare intently at the girl. But he is silent, waiting for Ethan's reaction, but beyond Riana's expectations. Ethan responded with a relaxed and warm response.

Riana snorted in annoyance, she continued her work earlier. But his mind was muddled, he was still listening to endless conversations and had nothing to do with work. He gets up and gets closer to Ethan, reminding the man.

"Sir, there's another task. Would it be best to speed up the meeting?" ask Riana.

"Wait a minute, Riana. We're relaxed" said Ethan.

Riana was silent, she sat down again in her chair. Before long the food came with a previous order. They ate and were engrossed in a fight without seeing any more Riana who had been upset since.
