My Beautiful Lawyer

My Beautiful Lawyer

"You're acting like a beautiful face masked alim lawyer. Though you are very evil" said Bima.

Hasna grinned.

"Don't make me laugh father-in-law. It's definitely not who here is so evil" Hasna said.

Hasna's face was clearly pointing at Bima, Vino did not accept it. Hasna had considered her father a criminal without finding evidence.

"Quite Hasna, you should also feel guilty after causing 43 landslides!" vino said while holding Hasna's shoulder.

Hasna fell silent, her face becoming red and clear expanding on her eyelids. His gaze could not be separated from the face of Vino who had said everything he wanted.

Vino felt his wife's entire face with his eyes. He realized that he had said something that hurt him. Wounded for not defending him.

Bima smirked happily hearing Vino blame Hasna. Their trust wavers before Bima.

"I have a big reason for everything I do" Hasna said in tears.

Vino closed his eyes for a moment, he thought Hasna would shut up and accept, but instead said that she was reasoned.

"What's your excuse? My hasna couldn't have committed a crime like that for no reason. But these 43 families you've made miserable in the name of disaster!" said Vino.

"September 25, 1998, that night I wanted to scream so loud, I wanted to run as fast as I could. But I can't, my body's hard to move. But the devil moved freely to do what he wanted. Disfiguring me, injuring my thigh with an initial engraving of my name. I cried out in my heart, Lord, I beg you, I want to live, I don't want to die like this"

Hasna recounted the fear that had gripped her courage for 11 years. His face was red in light of the dark night that changed his entire life.

Bima widened his eyes not expecting Hasna to tell him in front of them. While Vino only frowned, he did not understand his words.

"God granted my wish, the man was distracted by his wife who caught him. But, instead of saving me, the woman was sulking wanting to be noticed. But I didn't give up, I crawled out of the house and made it. With all my energy fighting the dope still active in my body, I walked" Hasna smiled.

Hasna's eyes searched, her lips wet occasionally by her own saliva as if it had been very dry for a long time.

"People named neighbors saw me trying to escape, but they kept quiet when they saw me coming out of the rich and honorable man's house" Hasna laughed.

"Sincerely what!" hasna laughed at her own words.

Vino approached about to touch Hasna's shoulder to calm her down. But Hasna stayed away, she continued her words.

"I got to my house by forcing my dead body and found the languishing gazes of both my parents. They asked the neighbors for help to witness that I was out of there. But their silence seemed to be a storm for me and my parents. So it's only natural that the storm makes all their possessions ravaged. It's not worth what I've been through. Both my parents, they gave up, no one wanted to help report it. They were all silent Vino, silent for years as if nothing had happened" Hasna's voice rose at the end of her sentence.

Vino looked at Hasna with a face of disbelief in her story.

"You remember the first time we investigated a rudapaksa case? You said the first agony of a victim of rape was when she reported the perpetrator's actions" Hasna said, staring at Vino.

"I guess it's all over when my parents would rather budge and shut up in silence, but no" Hasna retreated and squeezed her chest out.

"My father and mother asked Wahyudin for help, who was still a family, but he instead asked both of my parents to kill themselves for having a daughter with bad luck like me"

Hasna looked at Vino as she said that. Vino crying.

"You're right, rape victims would rather commit suicide than defend and fight" Hasna said.

Vino felt guilty because he had once thought exactly the same as Hasna said.

Vino gave a hard.

"You know what makes me so anxious for the devil to get his reward? Because of all that, my mother was so sick that she couldn't take it anymore and died. And even worse, my father decided to hang himself in his room because he couldn't survive without my mother"

Hasna gasped, she walked into her room weakly. Vino sat down after hearing everything straight from Hasna's own mouth. He felt it was wrong to blame him and say all the accusations.

While Bima walked back slowly, settling down was about to leave Vino alone.

"Is that true, father?" asked Vino glanced at his father who was moving to leave him.

Bima's step stopped, he glanced to the right and to the left not knowing what to answer.

"Which Hasna blamed on Dad, is that all true?"

"He made up the story, if he was a victim, he wouldn't survive. The dope is very potent...."

Bima said the thing that justifies all Hasna stories by accident. Vino's eyes widened to look at his father.

"So right?" Vino crying.

Vino approached his father and pulled his collar.

"So all this time I've been defending the wrong people?"

"Vino, that's not true. He just made up stories"

"She's the woman who's the reason mom got kicked out of the house. Not your affair, but he's YOUR VICTIM!"

Vino shouted in front of Bima's face.

"You're evil, long ago, never changed"

Vino throws his grip so Bima backs off and almost falls down. Vino goes to his room and knocks hard because Hasna locked him up.

"Hasna, open. Open door!" said Vino.

No voice answered Vino's call.

"I'm sorry, you never told me your hurt. How could I know about all that!" Vino defended himself.

There is still no answer from Hasna.

"I'm sorry, I promise he'll be punished for what he's done"

Vino wiped his own tears and tried to continuously knock on the door.

"Open the door!" pinta Vino with her cries.

Until Vino fell asleep at the door, Hasna did not open the door of the room and did not even answer Vino's call. He just sat on the bed in front of the mirror and looked at himself.
