CHAPTER 26 - Siska's Legacy

The next day, Siska woke up with a mobile phone that was still in his hand. Slowly Siska's eyes opened, looking at her phone screen. No reply to Ken's messages or calls. Siska really felt guilty as well as a little disappointed in her.

"Why I'm so stupid, what I told Ken certainly made him sick. I'm sorry, Ken." Lirih Siska is still trying to contact Ken but Ken's number could not be reached since yesterday.

Siska stepped into the bathroom, and she had to get ready for college.

Before Siska finished bathing, Linda had already arrived at Siska's room to pick her up.

"Siska, hurry. I brought you breakfast. Let's eat together before we go to college." Linda shouted at Siska who was still in the bathroom.

Before long, Siska was ready with her casual T-shirt that was always attached to her body every day.

Siska is not a woman who thinks too much about appearance, so she does not really care about her clothes, which are mostly just shirts and jeans.

"Hey, why does your face look tangled like it hasn't been ironed like that, what's the matter? Why not tell me?" Linda got up from her seat to Siska and hugged her best friend.

Finding Linda's treatment, Siska's crying broke out. It is undeniable that Siska has really fallen for the CEO of Wijaya Group.

Siska just shook her head in response.

"Then? Does it have anything to do with Mr Ken?" Ask Linda then.

Siska nodded her head in response.

"Oh my goodness, my best friend is now indeed kasmaran with Mr. Ken. sweetness." Linda pinched both of Siska's cheeks. Make Siska speak up.

"I asked Ken yesterday to stop bothering me. Then after that, his number could not be reached until now. What was my act of exaggerating Lin?" Siska asked with tears that escaped her eyes.

Linda grabbed her best friend's shoulder and took him to sit down.

"Why are you lying to yourself Sis? Don't you feel sad now? It hurt, didn't it?" Linda paused her sentence so that Siska could rethink her words yesterday to Ken.

"Decide Beni, and start loving Mr. Ken. I see you've started to have feelings for him too." Imbuh Linda again while giving a packet of chicken porridge that has been bought when traveling to Siska kos.

"Eat first, Sis. We'll talk about this again. Look, the porridge's cold because we've been gossiping too long." Linda continued to babble, while Siska was engrossed in her own thoughts.

After spending 1 serving of porridge, they rushed towards the campus.

Linda drove her car at a moderate speed, because their course was still starting at 9. There is still time to relax on the road.

Linda glanced at her best friend who was sitting beside the wheel. Siska understands if Linda is waiting for the sentence that Siska will say.

"I can't possibly break my relationship with Beni, Lin. I still love him." Said Siska with a lowered face.

"What do you expect from your relationship, Sis? 2 More years of dating, without clarity. Even the last year Beni ignored you, right? Don't you feel like Beni's hiding something behind your back?" Linda confirmed her words.

Linda pulled the car over. Give Siska a tissue. Then hugged him tightly.

"I don't mean to make you sad, Sis. I'm sorry."

"I understand Lin. You are my best friend. Thank you for your advice. I'll think about it well."

Then Siska loosened her embrace and looked at Linda with her sweet smile.

They stopped chatting, Siska who was still trying to contact Ken but the results were still nil. Linda is sending a message to someone.

'Yoga Assistant, can we meet at lunchtime? There's something important I want to tell you.'

That's the message Linda wrote to Yoga's assistant.

Not long after, your message got a reply.

'Good Miss.'

Linda raised the corner of her lips to find an answer from Yoga.

"I'll take Evan later, so he'll accompany me. It feels a little awkward to just meet alone with a Yoga assistant." Linda murmured in her heart.

"Siska, you go in first. I'll wait for Evan first. Looks like he hasn't come." Say Linda.

"Alright, alright. Indeed, if already bucin can not be contested. I go in first." Reply to Siska while stepping foot into class.

10 Minutes in the parking lot, finally what Linda awaited came.

"Sorry Beb, I got jammed earlier so late." Say hello to Evan who immediately gave a hug as well as a cheek kiss to Linda.

"No papa, Beb. I've just been nyampe too."

They also walked to class.

Evan first escorted Linda to her class, because they were different majors so they were in different classes.

"Lunchtime will accompany me, Beb. I have an appointment to meet someone." Linda Pinta.

"Want to see who Beb is? Didn't take Siska?" Ask Evan.

Linda instantly covered Evan's mouth with her index finger.

"Don't say it out loud, Beb. Siska can be heard later. She didn't know I had an appointment with Yoga's assistant."

"yoga Assistants?" Evan was a little surprised by Linda's words.

"Yes Beb. I have to do something for Siska. Yesterday Siska and Mr. Ken had a fight. Mr Ken's phone could not be reached. Siska was actually worried about her but she was reluctant to tell me that. You're still proud of your own best friend." Said Linda while glancing right left afraid that anyone heard her chatter with her lover.

"Alright, Beb. I will accompany you. Now enter. I'll be approaching you later. In order for Siska to be unsuspecting, I'd better tell her that we're going alone."

"You are the best, baby." Linda kisses Evan on the cheek and then runs into the classroom leaving Evan still in a daze with his lover's behavior.
