297. Forest Edge
Later that night, Rianti is transported in a police car to a police station. On guard duty are Toni and Hardi, police officers who were previously tasked with securing the conditions of the isolation house. They put Rianti in the back seat, while the two policemen sat in the front seat. They feel no worry, because Rianti's handcuffed.
In the depths of the night, the car drove a deserted road into the city. They passed through areas far from settlements, dominated only by small forests on the side of the road. The trees grew tightly, with almost no reflection of light from anywhere. Vehicles also rarely pass, so it is as if the car is the only vehicle that passes through the forested road.
In the car, the mood was quiet. Toni and Hardi don't talk to each other, they just want to get to the police station right away. During their several days in the isolation house, they also felt tired and saturated. They want to get together with their families. The one driving the car was Toni, who looked a few years older than Hardi. While his colleague was silent, sitting next to Toni, looking around for a car radio channel. However, all he heard was a rustling sound.
"So you poisoned us that night?"
Suddenly Hardi opened the conversation, while looking towards the upper rearview. He found Rianti who was silent on the back bench, sitting without any expression. He did not answer Hardi's question. The police did not think at all that the woman sitting in the back seat had made a horrendous mess of the townspeople. Behind her beautiful face, lies the unbearable lust of evil.
"After this prepare to accept punishment for all that you do. I assure you the punishment must be severe, and the judge may have no mercy on you, considering what you've done has been too outrageous. Your beauty doesn't help much, I'll make sure of that!" hardi.
Rianti remained unmoved at Hardi's rant. He still did not want to make a sound, just staring blankly out the dark and quiet window.
"Sir!"
Suddenly Rianti made a sound, while glancing at Hardi. His facial skin looked strange, like it was holding something unbearable. He looked at Hardi with a glare. Hardi turned her face back, looking back at Rianti curiously.
"Why you?" ask Hardi.
"I .. I can't take it anymore, sir. I want to pee" said Rianti while holding the lower part of his body.
"God! Just wait later in front, if it is a bit bright road, around here there is only a forest. There's nowhere to shuck. Hold first. Wait a minute!" hardi.
"But .. but I can't stand it. It's already coming out. Nothing, I'll pee in the bushes. Please, sir, I can't stand it anymore" said Rianti.
"Ouch! Just a minute!"
Hardi was a little confused to see the condition, then he turned to look at Toni who was still focused on driving, as if asking for an opinion.
"I'll pull the car over in front, and you can pee behind a bush or a tree. We'll keep an eye on you" Toni said as she continued to drive.
"Yes, Sir. Scribbles! This ... it's coming out," pinta Rianti.
The car stopped at the edge of the road surrounded by the right and left forest. Hardi momentarily felt confused, who would keep Rianti from urinating. Again he asked for Toni's opinion.
"You just keep an eye on him. Don't forget to bring a flashlight. He couldn't have escaped in the middle of this forest either. Let me take care of the car here. Hurry along!" toni's orders.
Hardi nodded. He got out of the car, then opened the middle door, allowing Rianti to get down and finish his wish. However, Rianti stood up and fell silent.
"How can I pee if my hands are cuffed like this, sir?" ask Rianti.
Once again, Hardi had no choice but to open the handcuffs that tied Rianti's hands. The woman immediately walked towards the dark forest as the handcuffs were opened, towards the lush scrubland, while Hardi tailed behind her using a flashlight as a guide.
"Hurry up!" hardi's orders.
"Don't peek, sir!" Rianti's Message.
"Don't you go long!" reset Hardi.
Hardi said nothing more. He tries to stay focused on his job. Every now and then he glanced towards the dark shrub where Rianti threw away his wish. Five minutes he was standing not far from the bush. The atmosphere was silent, only the forest beasts were screaming in the distance. For a long time, he felt suspicious as well, because he felt that he had waited too long. He looked towards the bush. There seems to be no movement in the bush.
"Hey, you done not peeing? You pooped?" ask Hardi.
Unfortunately, that question was unanswered. Hardi was suspicious. He shone the flashlight he was carrying towards the bush while approaching. Slowly, he bushed the bushes, but he was surprised that he found no one behind the bushes.
"Damn!" furious Hardi.
Hardi immediately shone a flashlight to all corners of the forest blindly. He never thought that Rianti would disappear so quickly. He forgot that Rianti had experienced running away in the forest, like when Anita killed. Hardi was confused as to where to look, as he only saw large trees besieging. He had no idea which way Rianti disappeared. Everything around him looked dark and the same.
He did not want to take a headache, he immediately rushed back towards the car parked on the side of the road. He must inform Toni immediately that their captive is missing. He was worried that the business would be long if the police knew that Rianti had run away.
"Tons! Ton! Lusty!"
Hardi immediately opened the front door of the car. However, he was again astonished, because he saw that Toni was also not in his place, Didn't he say he would guard the car? Where is that co-worker? Hardi feels like a fool. He was confused not knowing what to do. Which one should he choose, call Reno or the police station? He's confused. He will be blamed for this event. He must first try to find Rianti in this dark forest.
His mind feels chaotic now. He couldn't have gone back to the police station with this kind of hand. He again combed the dark forest while shining a flashlight in all directions. A moment later he gave up on that condition. He walked with shaky steps, back towards the car. Maybe he should call someone for help. He was about to get into the car, but suddenly his eyes were fixed on something in the dark of the night, he was not sure what he saw, but there was something lying on the edge of the forest across the street. There were no street lights around, so it was very dark.
To be sure, half-running he crossed the road to a figure lying in the grass on the edge of the forest. He felt that across this street, the forest felt even more dense. Did Rianti run away in the woods across this street? he has no shadow at all. He immediately shone a flashlight towards the lying figure. Instantly he was caught seeing the figure in front of him.
