Chapter 6 - Father

"Mom ..mom, is he a father?" devina asked while running with a photo she accidentally found in the drawer while looking for an eraser.

The girl who always misses the figure of the father is very happy to find things that are very valuable to her.

 "Mother?" call Devina again.

 "He's not your father, how many times have you said, brother and sister don't have a father!" Alea snaps a photo of Rocky in her daughter's hand, then rips it to the smallest cut.

 "But everyone has a father."

 "We have a father, Adek. Right Mother? But our father was a bad guy, so he wasn't looking for us" Davino said, assuming his own assumptions. Since long ago he did not question a father to his mother because he did not need that figure in his life. Davino is already happy with Devina and her mother.

 "Help me pack up, we'll leave at midnight" Alea said without looking at her children. She was busy making things in the kitchen for the trip if her kids were hungry.

 Today Alea decided to take her daughter away and find a decent job. He did not want his children's talents to be in vain.

 "Dad!" a girl's voice echoed inside the apartment due to the presence of a girl aged approximately 7 years. The girl was wearing a school uniform. The shout took the attention of Rocky who had been staring at a computer since working from home.

"You're home yet?" he asked without looking at Arumi's face. The adopted son who became the bridge to his meeting with Alea seven years ago.

 "Hm, Rumi gets a high score."

"Good, change your clothes and have lunch." Refocusing on his work, without knowing the little girl was waiting for a compliment from someone he had considered a father.

Rocky snorted as he felt a hug on his neck as well as a kiss on the cheek. "Stop, Arumi!"

 "I miss you so much, Rocky. We haven't seen each other for a week because we're both busy. Today I came to collect the three-month promise you said 6 years ago" said the great Arumi who had just arrived.

 He was too patient, so he was able to wait for 6 years without certainty, not to mention Rocky's attitude never changed, cold and indifferent to something.

 "But why?" Arumi's eyes are bulging.

 "Because my heart is still expecting someone back," Rocky said. The man moved from his seat after closing the laptop. "Let's go it alone!"

 "What do you mean Rocky? I've been faithfully waiting all this time, but you asked to part ways just like that. What's wrong with you, don't you love me anymore?"

"Of course." Rocky leaves the apartment without saying goodbye to anyone. There are many reasons why to this day he does not give certainty to Arumi, even though his mind clearly says he loves the girl.

However, every time he steadied himself, Alea's raging reflection kept coming to his mind, especially a fact he had only recently discovered about a bizarre accident a few years ago.

"Sir" said Adrian right in front of the apartment.

"Did you find anything"?

"Yes, Sir. Turns out the victim was right not Miss Alea. It's just a coincidence that the person who replaced Miss Alea's seat was pregnant with twins. Miss Alea took another bus to the stop ...."

"Then find out where my wife is. If he's alive, it means I have two 6-year-olds."

Rocky and his confidants walked in tandem leaving the corridor. Today he will attend a foundation to discuss the recruitment of students through a competition, coincidentally he was invited as one of the judges.

 "Master?"

"Are you not suspicious why Miss Alea's whereabouts are so hard to find? Maybe someone is trying to hide it. Is there any chance that Miss Alea didn't escape, but was kidnapped?"

"You expect me to believe your stupid assumption?" Rocky stared intently at Adrian, the man's conversation so senseless in his head. Alea was not a child, nor was the woman a fool who easily believed in others. Rocky's question to date, what was the mistake that Alea left?
