PN - Chapter 24 - Yuda Dodging?

1 Week later

Naura returns to Yuda's company to meet her future husband. As per Yuda's request back then, he asked Naura for a week to think.

"Sorry, Miss Naura, but Mr Yuda is not there?" said a woman Naura knew was the secretary of her ex-husband.

"Not in place? Where'd he go?" asked Naura curiously.

"Sir Yuda is going out of town, Miss, to review the important project that is there," replied Yuda's secretary.

"Oh, huh? Where's?" Naura had thought of catching up with him if the place was not far away.

"Sorry, Miss, we cannot carelessly disclose important company information to an uninterested person" the secretary replied with courtesy and courtesy.

"So you think I'm not interested? I have important business with your bosses know. I need her to sign this file," Naura annoyed as she showed me the map she just took out of her bag.

"I'm sorry, Miss." The secretary bowed slightly apologizing to Naura.

Upset at not being able to get a signature from Yuda, Naura immediately left the place. While on her way home, she kept trying to contact Yuda, but unfortunately the number of the man who was still her husband could not be connected.

"Hello" answered Naura.

"Hello, Honey. Hows it? Is your business done?" ask a man who is none other than Mahendra Wijaya.

Naura grunts rudely. "Yet. He's not in the place. Said his secretary, he was going out of town to review an important project."

"Oh, huh? Any time?"

"You don't believe it?" asked Naura who heard the man's tone like that.

"Mm .. bit. I thought maybe he was just trying to avoid you?" guess Mahend.

"Evoiding me? What's for?" naura asked not understanding.

"Yes, he's deliberately stalling for time so you don't get divorced."

"Darling, shouldn't you go see your mother and father-in-law? Explain to them carefully that you want a divorce from his son because Judah has betrayed you, even now he has a child from his second marriage," Mahend proposed, but Naura laughed at him.

"Why are you laughing, honey? What's so funny?" mahend asked a little astonished. It is not that his proposal is the best solution, Mahend thought.

"Of course you're funny. Who do you think you are?" naura replied while still laughing.

"I? Why am I funny?" ask Mahend curiously.

"Somehow I feel you're more impatient to want me to get divorced from the Yuda bang than myself."

Mahend chuckles. "What do I think, honey. Of course I'm the most impatient beyond anyone. Because, I can't wait to repeat our memories that night."

"Basar mesyum," annoyed Naura pouted.

"No, honey, don't be angry, I'm just kidding, but the joke is serious." Mahend laughed again.

"Basic."

"Honey, it's not really about s*x. Actually ... I can't wait to marry you soon. I seriously want to make you my wife, the last couple of my life."

"That's if I'm willing, or what?" Naura.

"Darling, don't tell me you don't want to marry me" Mahend said a little frantically.

Instead of answering, Naura cut off their phone while chuckling. He was deliberately bullying the man. He could not imagine how cute Mahend's facial expression was right now when he cut off their phone all of a sudden.

"Sir, change the direction of our destination" Naura told the driver Mahend hired to drive him anywhere. Yes, since he returned all the money and facilities given by Judah to him, now all his needs are borne by Mahend.

Eits, don't get me wrong. Everything Mahend has to record as debt. Instead, after Naura divorced Yuda, the woman would manage the restaurant left by Yuda's late mother. That was one of the ways Mahend offered Naura so that Judah would no longer trample on Naura's self-esteem using his money.

"Where, Non?" asked the driver, then Naura answered by mentioning the address of her in-laws.
