Chapters 16. Abandoned

After a few hours the new Zhen made it out of the residence. He had not expected that using this shadow move could drain his Qi. It was only natural that he had yet to learn the final version of the shadow step. So it would be very draining of Qi. Hence Zhen continued his steps on foot.

After exiting Sapphire Radiant Palace, Zhen sailed to the Jun Residence which was also his residence. The Ruby Radiant Palace. But that lie was quickly discovered by Liubai. "You guys step aside!" Shouted Liubai while walking forward with his two friends walking backwards. He prepared himself to fight with Zhen.

Zhen swallowed his saliva as the one who was advancing now was Liubai. He was the son of the third elder, Liu kun. Actually he doesn't live here, but rather in the Emerald Radiant Palace. Liubai must have been trained by her father. Because he was the successor of the Emerald Radiant Palace.

"Why just shut up? Where was your arrogance just now?" Liubai smiled disdainfully at seeing Zhen. He used the lightning steps that his father had taught him. Liubai kneeled one foot to get closer to Zhen who was pressed to the ground, "He he he he... Have you finished Ming Jia Zhen!?" Shouted Liubai accompanied by his evil laughter. He gripped Zhen on the head and the electricity flowed to sting the whole body.

"Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.." The three of them laughed happily at seeing Zhen in pain.

A night with heavy rain. Zhen was still under the tree with a splash of rain. His entire body was numb so it could not be moved until nightfall. He hoped that someone would help him, but there was no one there to care about him. Although they knew that Zhen was in dire need of help, they closed their eyes and acted as if nothing had happened.

Slowly Zhen could move his fingers, then his arms, legs, and then his body. He woke up slowly and still stiff. Trying to stand up despite the weight. The plan to meet Jun he canceled because Jun himself was not here. Zhen heard it from Liubai's gang that Jun was in Moon Radiant Palace. So he better go home and see Grandpa Luan. Because he's been here too long. Zhen walked with a limp leg while holding his chest which still hurt.

Seen from a distance under the red umbrella held by the maid, Jiafen watched Zhen walk out of here.

Arriving at Grandpa Luan's residence, Zhen tried to find the old man everywhere. But he did not find it as long as he searched. 'Where is Grandpa Luan?' Zhen walked towards Grandpa Luan's room. Who knows, he's back in his room. He knocked on the room door. But there's no answer. He finally entered, though disrespectful.

Inside there is no one. But there are some books on the table and a letter. Those books were some of the moves Grandpa Luan had left behind. Includes final version of shadow step. Zhen was starting to get a bad feeling about this. He took the letter and read it. In the letter there is only one line.

'Please be good.'

Zhen immediately widened his eyes in surprise at the contents of the letter.

"He threw you out, sir! The old man really threw you away! He doesn't care about you anymore, so he's throwing you out now. Haaah, it's really unbelievable. Once again you cheated someone." A line of black fog surrounded Zhen at this moment.
