Theo used both because at that time Theo did not have Sword Mastery skills so had to copy Slash skills in order to use the sword and only Theo wanted to get an advanced skill, Agile Boost.

Because now Theo was able to use the sword as he pleased and Agile Boost skill was already Theo got so Theo no longer needed these two goblins.
