EP 24 Mutual Shoulder-shoulder

It's back to Hugo, Oliver, Billy, Isabella, and Richard who want to build a boat. As it is known that they will cross a lake.

After quite a long time collecting wood from the forest, they gathered it in front of Yuto's grandfather's house.

"I think it's more than enough, so what do we do now?" Billy.

"We'll put it together, we'll take it again." Hugo said with a laugh.

When things get confusing, Yuto's grandfather leaves his house. Yuto's grandfather then sees Hugo and his friend trying to make a boat.

But what Hugo and his friends did was not entirely true. Grandfather Yuto judged, they could not make a boat by themselves. Then Grandpa Yuto went back inside the house and chatted with Peter.

"Do you want to help them, son? Looks like they need your help." Grandpa Yuto asked as he walked towards Peter.

Peter who was eating just nodded his head.

"You know, the attitude that every adventurer should have is to be confident in what he does. If you don't convince that, then it will be difficult."

"It's the same as you, son, you underestimate their determination to cross this lake."

"To that help them, let fate decide their fate!" Grandpa Yuto's advice to Peter.

Hearing what his grandfather said, Peter then finished his meal quickly. He then went out to see Hugo and his friends.

After Peter sees him, he is shocked because what Hugo and his friends are doing is wrong.

"Ooi... What you're doing, this isn't a boat. Don't you guys understand how to make a boat?" Peter chanted to Hugo and his friend.

Hugo, Oliver, Billy, Isabella, and Richard simply fell silent while looking at Peter. Then Peter approached Hugo and told him to reassemble everything.

"Disassemble again, I'll remake it for you!" Peter Exclamations.

Hugo follows what Peter tells him to do, and yells at his friend to dismantle him again.

"Hheeii we're unloading the boat again." Shouted Hugo.

"Why do we have to be dismantled again? It's gonna be over." Ask Billy.

"Udah, follow him, he said. We need help from him." Answer Hugo.

After telling Hugo, Peter sat next to his house smoking a cigarette. It was then seen by Billy who seemed very emotional seeing Peter's behavior.

And sure enough, that happened. Billy then ran towards Peter.

"Heeiii... Peter, you should have ruled us. We're tired of making them, and you want us to dismantle them."

"While you're just sitting and smoking in front of us. You actually want to help us or not haaa?" Shouted Billy while pushing Peter.

Hugo then came to divorce the two, especially to the Billy. Peter then wants to avenge Billy's treatment of him. But he could still hold back his emotions.

"I want to help you cross that lake, even though it's impossible but now I'm sure that you can cross it!"

"If you don't need my help, then don't ask for my help!" Shouted Peter.

Peter then went back inside his house, and made his grandfather confused.

"What happened son, why are you yelling like that to them?" Ask grandpa Yuto.

With an annoyed feeling, Peter said to his grandfather.

"Where not upset, they assume I don't want to help them. Though my intentions are good cake." Answer Peter.

On the other hand, there is a dispute between Hugo and Billy. Hugo was very concerned about the treatment Billy did to Peter.

"You know, Peter's the only one who wants to help us get across the lake. And then you push and yell at him. I want you to apologize to him." Hugo to Billy.

Billy who at that time admitted the mistake he made, could only be silent while bowing his head. Then Hugo takes Billy to apologize, so Peter wants to help make their boat.

Grandpa Yuto then went back to advising Peter because of his attitude.

"As an adventurer, the attitude that must be possessed is unyielding. No matter what others say about us, we just have to keep doing it."

"Grandfather only advises you to help them. If you help them, you'll be like me." Grandpa Yuto.

During a conversation between Peter and Yuto's grandfather, Hugo knocks on their door. Then Peter opened the door and looked directly at Billy.

Billy at that time also apologized to Peter, for accusing Peter with false accusations.

"I'm sorry about what happened just now. I admit that my actions were too harsh on you. And I also ask you to come back to help us make the boat!" Billy told Peter.

In Peter's mind he will forgive Billy's actions. But it's not that easy to make that happen.

"Where are ya.."

"I'll forgive Billy if Yuto's grandfather wants to make a boat with us." Peter laughed while laughing.

The atmosphere changed, which had been tense to liquid after Yuto's grandfather agreed to Peter's invitation.

Hugo, Oliver, Billy, Isabella, and Richard restart their boat which is now assisted by Peter and Grandpa Yuto. They began the work by separating between decent and non-viable wood.

"You choose good wood, still smooth, and clean. Then put all the wood together!" Said Peter.

"Okay Peter." Excite everything.

While everyone is focused on doing their respective tasks, it is different with Billy. Billy has a curiosity for Peter and Grandpa Yuto.

At that moment, Peter was next to him. This then made Billy immediately ask about his curiosity.

"Peters... Why are you and your grandfather willing to guard this lake. And where your parents are, don't you miss them." Billy asked while whispering with Peter.

Hearing Billy's question, Peter smiled. He then invited Billy to come with him into the house.

"If you want to know, follow me!" Peter Exclamations.

Once inside the house, Peter then showed me an already ugly shirt.

Billy was confused as to why Peter showed him the shirt. But the confusion that Billy felt, was already answered by Peter himself.

"You know Billy? this is the last shirt my father wore. We used to live in the six with Yuto's grandfather." Said Peter.

"Then what happened to your parents?" Ask Billy.

With his tears in his eyes, Peter told me about what happened.

"Dad and my mother were explorers or adventurers. The two of them are often in the wild rather than with me."

"One day my parents challenged themselves to follow in Yuto's footsteps. It's across a lake that has a big storm." Peter said as he shed his tears.

Billy then calmed Peter down to not be too sad. Then Billy asked.

"Then that shirt how did you get it?"

"The clothes were obtained by Peter when he learned that his parents did not send letters. Peter was always waiting for his parents at the beach, hoping for his parents to come back."

"Destination says otherwise, not Peter's parents who returned, but his father's clothes that returned with a torn state." Grandpa Yuto said as he walked towards Peter.

Grandpa Yuto suddenly came and calmed Peter down. Not only Yuto's grandfather but Hugo, Oliver, Isabella, and Richard were there.

At first they just keep an eye on Billy and Peter so they don't fight. But Hugo and his friends now know why Peter's parents aren't here.

"So that's the reason why you and Grandpa Yuto want to guard this lake. So that no one will be the same fate as your parents." Billy.

Grandpa Yuto encouraged Peter to not be sad again. Yuto's grandfather also told Hugo and his friend to continue boatbuilding.

"Udah do not be too sad, son, and you should continue making the boat. Grandpa Yuto and Peter will follow." Grandpa Yuto.

So Hugo and his friend went out of the house and resumed their duties.

"Grandfather, if grandfather allows me to come with them, then I will come with them to help them achieve their goals." Peter asked, wiping his tears.

"Why are you like this, son. Suddenly you want to come with them, when you're afraid to go to the middle of the lake?" Grandpa Yuto.

"I felt that what happened to my parents I could not believe. I'm sure if my parents were strong and they couldn't have gone that way." Answer Peter.

"Have a son, if you want that then grandfather will allow it." Grandpa Yuto.

The answer Peter received made him feel cheerful again. Peter then thanks Yuto's grandfather and goes to rebuild their boat.
