Chapter 2 The Presence of New Members

Slowly he opened his eyes, blinked for a few times before he could finally see clearly. Beside him there was no one but bolsters, he went down from the bed and went out of the room.

There was no one there, with a heart that was starting to mess up he looked into his mother's room and that was where they were.

"Ah Agler.you are awake apparently" said his father who immediately carried him.

"Look! your sister was born, isn't she pretty?" his mother said it showed a baby who was sleeping soundly on his mother's lap.

"A. dik" called him.

"Yes.. sister, her name is Ima, later if Ima's sister can walk Agler must play with ya." said his father.

He nodded though he did not fully understand, making laughter in the room.

Twelve years later.

"Agler.

"Yes ma'am." replied Agler who immediately rushed over.

"Take this dress to Mrs Robert, don't be late if she's angry"

"Good ma'am" replied Agler.

"I went along. " cried Ima who suddenly came.

"No way, Mrs Robert's house is quite far away" Agler said.

"Why are we so far away?"

"Your sister will definitely be back later tonight, so instead of complicating your sister's job you should help mom sew"

"Ah mother." erang Ima.

"Don't ngeyel, you'll bring a rabbit for you" Agler said.

"Promise yes. fat rabbit"

"Yes"

"Then Agler left first ma'am" he said goodbye.

By using a bicycle Agler went alone to deliver orders, on the other hand his father just came home on the day that had reached the twilight.

"This father drank it" said Ima welcomed his father's return.

"Where's Agler?"

"Go to deliver the order" replied the wife.

"Oh...tomorrow is Agler's fifteenth birthday, have you prepared what I asked for?" tanyakanya.

The wife did not immediately answer, in the lyrics first Ima who was there.

"Please peel the potatoes in the kitchen, it's dinner time soon"

"Good ma'am" replied Ima who immediately went to the kitchen.

After they were alone, the wife dared to talk.

"Mina what's wrong?" tanyakanya.

Colt smiled and grasped Mina's hand gently.

"He's twelve, he knows that he's not a normal human like the others for what to cover up?"

"She's different from Agler you know that!"

Mina nodded, believing Colt would keep his promise and definitely try his hardest for the safety of his family.

"Thank you" replied Agler receiving some of that money.

Agler wanted to say goodbye but Mrs Robert had already closed the door, so he immediately took his bike and rushed home.

"He was really cold and fierce" he murmured after leaving quite a distance from Mrs Robert's house.

While passing through the forest he remembered his promise to bring a rabbit, even though it was getting dark but Agler still took the time to go into the forest to catch a rabbit.

It was quite difficult for him to find a rabbit because at that hour most rabbits had entered the nest, until finally he could find one that was still wandering.

Agler rushed to hunt the rabbit, but it turned out that the rabbit was more agile than he expected. He went deeper into the forest and followed the rabbit, until the sun had completely sunk and the forest had become completely dark.

This was a good opportunity for him as he could see well in the darkness, with a single leap he managed to catch the rabbit along with the sound of someone shouting.

Agler was quite surprised, he knew his ears were not misheard. Not wanting to get involved in the problem he rushed away from the place, but instead he saw something that was quite surprising.

A large man seemed busy sucking the neck of an unconscious woman, trying to keep Agler calm took a few steps back however.

He accidentally stepped on a dry twig until it broke, the man immediately looked at him with a sharp gaze that made Agler quite afraid.

Slowly the man let go of the woman he was prey to and walked closer to Agler, the closer the man's face became.

"Ah...you startled me, I deserve not to smell human" said the man.

He looked at Agler with a panicked look on his face and the rabbit in his grasp.

"You're hunting too, how old are you, son?"

"Li-fifteen years" answered Agler.

"Hmmmm so young, it's appropriate that you only hunt rabbits"

"I-this is for my sister" Agler said, still terrified.

"Oh so it looks, wait! a sister? that mean you have a family?" asked the man to realize one thing.

"Damn! I should know this, all right wait a minute!" the man said as if sorry.

He pulled out a small bottle, slashed her thigh until she bled and held it in a small bottle to the brim.

"Let's go back to your house!" take the man.

Although Agler did not know the purpose of the man but he still took him home, there was no question he asked let alone chat they were silent along the way to get to the door of the house.

Mina who first opened the door was quite shocked to see Agler coming home with a foreign man, but the man was even more shocked to see Mina.

He suddenly prostrated in front of Mina while saying.

"I'm sorry for my stupidity, I really didn't mean it!"

"E-eh... Who are you?" mina asked confusedly.

The noise at the door was heard all the way inside, making Colt and Ima curious to look out. Colt who looked at the man immediately recognized him even though he did not look at his face.

"Mina let the kids inside" he ordered.

"Well" Mina replied softly even though she was actually curious about the identity of the man.

"Wake up, let's go in and talk inside" Colt asked.

The man said that when he arrived in the living room, he handed over the bottle containing the blood of the woman he had sucked.

"I'm really sorry I didn't find out first, I just came so I didn't know that this was master's territory. I hope you will forgive my carelessness" he said.

"It doesn't matter, it's already happened but next time you have to be more thorough" Colt replied.

"Please you give me the punishment for my mistake so that I can leave immediately"

"It doesn't have to be that way, on appeal I'd rather you leave and never come back"

"Can't be sir! I have to accept punishment. I cannot possibly dare to take the kindness of a master with a high status of master" he insisted.

"What do you mean?" colt asked confused.

"I know it, sir is the assistant of Queen Victoria" he replied.

Colt was quite surprised to hear that remark, he did not expect this foreign vampire to know his identity when they had just met for the first time.

"Where did you know this?"

"Of course from the necklace that the woman was wearing."

Colt gasped, it's been a long time since he forgot the necklace. Thanks to him again remembering the incident where Viktoria gave the necklace and his promise to protect Mina, he did not expect even though Viktoria had long died the promise he still fulfilled.

Colt explains it until he understands, Nick agrees but not with Mina. He strongly opposed the presence of vampires in his house.

"What are you worried about?" colt asked as they spoke together in the room.

"Mina... What Nick did was teach our children to survive instead of fighting, you know my knowledge is minimal what if our children were poisoned when they were looking for blood? do you want to see them like that?"

"Of course not, but what if the residents know we're hiding vampires in the house?"

Actually Mina is still not sincere, but for the sake of her children she finally wants to also accept Nick's existence in the house.
