Ch. 5 - Nue Threats

After a long walk I arrived at a village, it was very quiet and there were only a few people passing by.

"Excuse me, uncle why is this village so deserted?" I asked the guy.

"It's quiet because a few days ago there was a nue that arrived attacking, and many people were injured because of his attack" the man replied seriously.

"Nue what's that, uncle?" I asked back while looking at the man's face.

"Nue is a lion-like monster but the tail is a snake, the monster is very dangerous. I suggest staying away from him" the man replied as he glared at me.

"Thank you uncle, don't look at me like that. Your gaze frightens uncle" I said with a smile.

"Yes, okay. But who are you? What are you gonna do here? don't you be a bandit." Ask the man seriously.

"I'm just a wandering uncle, my cool looking days. Like a bandit" I replied resentfully looking at the man.

"Oh so, then be careful on the road. Take good care of your guts" the man said as he left

"Yes, uncle" I replied with a smile.

I continued walking the road in the village, while looking for lodging. As I walked I found the inn, I entered into the insults.

"Excuse me aunt I ordered a meal, same room?" I said while entering the inn.

"Okay sir please, you wait a minute" replied the lodge owner.

I was sitting next to a girl, I thought I knew her. Since he looks like Yusile, I approached him.

"Excuse me, miss, are you Yulise?" I asked curiously while approaching him.

Then the girl turned around, it turned out to be true that she was Yulise. He had eaten 3 dishes, he quickly swallowed his food.

"Right, the time you didn't recognize me. You are cruel Once," replied Yulise as she continued to eat.

"At least don't talk while you're eating, I just know you're eating a lot" I said, sitting next to Yulise.

"Of course, because on the way I can't eat yant-good food." Yulise replied while looking at me.

"Right, too, if you eat a little. Then your body will be thin, certainly not suitable for you as a princess" I replied with a slight joke to Yulise.

"What do you say, so much so" Yulise replied while crying but still eating.

As everyone in the inn looked at me, the atmosphere became very tense. They looked at me with murderous eyes, even I felt ashamed of attracting attention

"Look at that guy really is a loser, making that girl fill in" said the person behind me, looking at me.

"True, when it was a very pretty girl. Why would he want to be with that guy" the other person replied while looking at me.

"So it was just a joke, 99% serious so forgive me" I said, bowing my head.

"This is the master's order?" said the owner of the lodge to put my order.

"Alright, I forgive you" Yulise replied as she watched the innkeeper deliver the order.

"Yes, thank you aunt. Have a good meal" I replied by directly eating the food.

"I forgive on one condition, which is that you have to pay for the food that I just spent" Yulise said with a smile.

"Good, but you sure don't want another message."

"No, I'm full already" Yulise replied with a smile.

"Yulise, behind your shirt is a caterpillar." I said while pointing behind Yulise.

"Kyaa, everywhere!" Yulise panicked while shouting loudly.

"But a lie" I replied with a smile.

"Mr Sorata, you're really pranking me" Yulise replied with a snack

"I'm sorry, I've seen you panic. You look so cute"

"Is that so?" answer Yulise shyly.

"Yes" I replied as I continued to eat.

After I finished eating, I went to the innkeeper's aunt to pay for food with the inn room.

"How many are all the aunts? Plus 2 rooms, for 2 days" Samibil said walking to his desk.

"Everything is 2 pieces of gold" replied the owner of the inn.

"This is aunt" I said, handing the money over to the innkeeper's aunt.

"Yes, thanks. Sir for your room number 2, and for this lady room number 7. Here's the key" the owner's aunt replied while giving me 2 keys.

"Wait for Mr. Sorata, why did you book 2 rooms for 2 days."

"Of course, because tomorrow I'll catch nue" I replied with a smile.

"Nue? Are you sure you want to hunt him?" Asked Yulise doubtfully.

"Nue is a dangerous monster, there is even news. Seven people who hunt the nue, never return after entering the forest that became the nest" said Yulise while feeling doubtful.

"Of course, it's night. It's time for us to go to sleep" I replied as I walked and threw Yulise's room key.

"Yes, good night, Mr. Sorata." Yulise answered while catching her rabbit.

I walked towards my room, and Yulise went to her room. After I lay down, I fell asleep without realizing it in my room.

The next day I woke up, quickly the inn aunt prepared breakfast. And he told me to wake Yulise, and I went to his room.

"Tuk, tuk, tuk, Yulise get up fast?"

"Tuk, tuk, tuk, Yulise get up soon?"

"Yes, I'm awake."

"The breakfast is ready, quickly the aunt is waiting for you."

"Huamzzz, he I'm there now."

The two of us went to eat together at the dinner table. Me and Yulise ate together, and then I got ready.

"Good meal" I said while eating.

"Good meal, Mr. Sorata." Yulise replied excitedly.

We ate, after eating. I immediately prepared to hunt the nue, I also brought an arrow to guard.

"Do you want to come?" Ask Yulise.

"Of course."

"But even if you're coming, you're just gonna run, right?"

"Of course, my safety has always been a top priority in my life."

"Well, do whatever you want to do."

"Of course."

"Auntie. Where is nue's nest?"

"Nue, you better not go there, sir. It's very dangerous" the owner's aunt said.

"Just relax aunt, I am a working knight tasked with killing monsters" I replied with vigor.

"Nue lives in the eastern forest, a bit close from here. But you have to be careful?"

"Of course, thank you aunt. We're leaving first."

"Wait for me, Mr Sorata?"

We went to the eastern forest, where it turned out to be quite far away. We continued walking while alert, suddenly there was a sound.

"Crackles, crackles" the sound of a bush.

"Yulise, stay alert?"

"Yes, okay. But you can check Mr. Sorata first."

"Of course, I'll check it out."

When I checked, it turned out to be a squirrel eating fruit.

"This squirrel just surprised you?"

"True, then. Hurry you buhuh that squirrel?"

"Hey, hey. What kind of hero do you think I am? Killing that innocent squirrel, hurting my heart"

"It turns out Mr. Sorata has a heart too, I'm so moved." Yulise said as she shed tears.

"Hey. What do you think I am? Robotkah," I replied rather irritatedly.

"I thought..."

Suddenly a nue jumped, he tried to pounce on Yulise using his sharp teeth. I quickly pushed Yulise until she survived.

"Oh, it hurts so much. Why are you pushing me?"

"Therefore," I replied while pointing at nue.

"Meauw, meauw" nue voice.

"Nue, since when was he there?"

"Of course, since Yulise"

"Listen Yulise, I will defeat this monster. So if you're in don't run" I said seriously.

"Why?"

"If you run, then he'll come after you and eat you."

"Keep, what should I do?"

"Stay behind me, I will protect you as hard as I can."

"Mr Sorata, you're cool."

"It's not time to be amazed."

The Nue started attacking me, he tried to claw my hand but I managed to avoid it. I quickly pulled out my black sword, then tried to slash it.

"Mr Sorata heart of hearts?"

"Yes, I'll be careful."

Unexpectedly, the nue was able to discharge electricity. I almost got hit by his attack, he roared to get his electricity out. But I quickly dodged it, then as he let my guard down I quickly approached him and slashed at him.
