Bodyguard Mission

My name is Naziera Anastasia Utama but in my work as a bodyguard I was known by the code name Zie. I was a professional bodyguard who had only been in this profession two years ago. My family never gave my son permission to be a bodyguard, because they were worried about my safety. I repeatedly tried to convince them that my decision to be a bodyguard was right for my good, but always failed to change their thinking.

I come from a family that is quite respected and has a huge social influence in Indonesia. I am the sole heir of the Main Group and the only son of Wiranata Utama a successful business man who is the CEO of the Main Group which has business in the Media and Agriculture sector.

Since 2 years ago I left my family to become a bodyguard, a profession I had dreamed of for 8 years. Many think I'm stupid to choose to be a bodyguard rather than being the heir to the Main group. Profession that requires always be on alert and we never know when the danger will come. Living in a stressful life to ensure the safety of clients and even not infrequently endanger lives in the process. I have my own reasons for choosing to be a bodyguard. "Zie, I have a new mission for you." My boss AK woke me up from the daydream. AK is his code name, his real name is Adrian Kusuma. Adrian was the one who recruited me to be a bodyguard in his Agency. Of course she knows about my family's background very well, she's my sister-in-law. Since my sister died 8 years ago, we broke up contact and only met again 2 years ago.

He invited me to join his Agency because he knew I had the ability and there was another purpose behind it. He learned of my vows 8 years ago. "Yes Boss, mission moreover this time? Who wants to hire my services?"

"He is the new CEO of the Mahaputra group, his name is Juan Anthony Mahaputra. I'm sure you've heard what has happened with the Mahaputra Group these past two months?" I nodded my head, telling him I knew. Group Mahaputra is one of the main colleagues of the Main Group. One of the children of the founder of Group Mahaputra was a good friend of Ku when High School first.

Two months ago, the CEO of the Mahaputra group, Satria Mahaputra, was the victim of an attack by an unknown person. The man in all black clothes and covering his face with a black cloth tried to kill him by shooting a gun with a silencer. Satria was shot in the lung and is in a coma to this day. To stabilize the company's Mahaputra group while its CEO is still in a coma, Juan, Satria's eldest son, takes over as CEO. Juan is the latest CEO of the new Mahaputra group shortly after the incident.

"Juan is currently looking to recruit the best bodyguards to protect his entire family. So in this mission you will not work alone. You will work with bodyguards from other agencies. Are you ready?" Adrian asked me.

"Of course I'm always ready, I don't mind working together in groups with other people. They're the best bodyguards like me, they must be very professional." I looked Adrian in the eye to convince him. "The problem is Bian Alvian Mahaputra, he knows me very well. Bian is my best friend in Junior High School."

"It's good if you're ready. Don't worry about Bian, he's on a business trip to Japan. He won't be back anytime soon. No one will know your true identity." Adrian convinced.

"I have other information you should know. The tragedy that happened to the Mahaputra family has a connection with someone we're both looking for." Adrian's eyes look bright. I clenched my hands full of anger. 'I'll finally find the bastard.'

"Are you okay?" Adrian asked me.

I nod my head. "I'm okay. You sure 'BEE' is involved in this? Where did you get the info?"

"I'm sure about that. I myself did a check on the CCTV that recorded it at the Mahaputra company. The culprit had a 'BEE' tattoo on his wrist. This is print out." Adrian gave me some paper printouts. I accepted and looked at each one carefully.

On the print out I saw the culprit holding and pointing his gun at Satria using his right hand. When he pointed at the gun and shot Satria, it could be seen very clearly tattooed 'BEE' on his wrist. The tattoo reminds me of what happened that day. Something that changed my life forever. The wound on the temple I had left 8 years ago throbbed and gave me a headache. I rubbed the temple slowly. It's hard to remember what's been forgotten. The more I try to remember the more my head hurts. That tattoo is one thing I will always remember

"What's up Zie? are you sure you're going to take that job? If you're not sure, I can send another bodyguard to replace you." Adrian looks very worried about me.

I'm finally getting close to uncovering the bastard who killed my sister Natha." Emotionally, I clenched my fist against the concrete wall behind us. I was so angry just thinking about the tragedy.

"Good, if you're ready you can walk now. They're waiting for you at the headquarters of the Mahaputra group. See you later Zie and be careful okay!" His eyes look very sad. I'm sure Adrian is remembering Natha his late wife. The wound in his heart is as deep as I have it.

"I'm leaving, pray for me Brother..!" I turned my body towards the door while waving my hand. It was hard to leave Adrian alone. I knew him very well, it was hard to think of Adrian crying alone thinking of my dead brother and his future son who had never been born into the world.
