Artland Series: MINORITY TALENT

Artland Series: MINORITY TALENT
The Drama Van Allent

This morning's exercise program feels much quieter than meditation. All Talents suddenly became quiet after a series of events that occurred recently.

There were no more voices of girls talking while they were running around the ball field. There were no more joking boy voices shouting jokes at each other as the break went on. Each program feels like military training under authoritarian command.

Reyhan Ibrahim and Jonathan Van Allent walked side by side in the corridor towards the field. The two boys were wearing capoeira uniforms.

Elijah turned his face to look at Jonathan in disbelief. He never expected Jonathan to finally choose the capoeira program.

Jonathan looked back at him silently.

Since the first day they lived at MINORITY CENTER, the two have never met after Jonathan stated that Elijah is his older sister.

Elijah is not happy to be called a sister. Jonathan took it as a denial. Jonathan thinks Elijah refuses to recognize himself as a brother. While Elijah did not want to accept himself mentioned as a woman. The direction of the two minds is clearly opposite and eventually lead to misunderstanding.

Even after Evan Jeremiah tried to mediate them, the two brothers persisted with their respective perceptions that were clearly different directions.

Evan Jeremiah sighed and massaged his wrinkled forehead throughout the morning. Since last night he thought hard, looking for an explanation of all the events that happened lately. How do two people disappear at once in a matter of seconds?

He may not be surprised if it happened only to Athena. However, the figure of Athena always managed to print an illogical mystery phenomenon. But it all felt absurd when it happened to Valentine. Valentine is a Para-visi method expert. Not a paranormal vision expert like Athena and Dusk.

"Handsome?!"

Evan jerks.

A girl called out to him somewhat shouting not far from his side.

"Monica?!" Evan quickly realizes that Monica Deborah is nearby.

"Can you join the racing team?" Monica asked.

"Ok, of course." Evan answered reflexes. Still surprised by Monica's presence. "Please join the others!" He's inviting.

"But I've never ridden a motorcycle before" Monica Debora said in a spoiled tone. "I need a basic guide and a companion too!" Monica Debora explained as she brought her face closer to Evan's.

Evan frowned and kept his face away from the girl. Then he turned his gaze towards the circuit. "Elijah!" Evan shouted out loudly to call Elijah.

The girl was sitting cross-legged on the grass on the side of her motorcycle on the edge of the circuit. He lifted his face from the screen of his cell phone then turned to look at Evan. The girl approached him shortly. The girl stood on her waist in front of Monica Deborah and then watched Monica and Evan's faces alternately as she bit the grass tucked into the corner of her lips.

"Monica's fingers ride a motorcycle!" Evan ordered.

"Elijah is also learning, right? I don't want to be an obstacle to Elijah's progress" Monica protested.

"So how do you mean?" Elijah asked frankly.

"I don't want to interrupt your time" said Monica Deborah.

"Gue asked what do you want?" Elijah asked again half-hardened.

"I want to learn from Evan." Monica answered.

"Wouldn't you want to learn?!" Ask Elijah ketus.

"Yes, I want to study with Evan!" Monica replied in a high tone.

Evan watches the two girls as they cross paths.

"On choosing human rights. There is no ban here for picky coaches or picky own teams. We are all given the same freedom to choose. It's called initiative. The initiative here is highly recommended. Understood?" Monica replied to him again with a higher tone.

"Aren't you serious about joining this team?" Elijah lowered his tone.

"It's none of your business!" Monica answered him with a wit.

Evan Jeremiah frowned as he turned his face to the side, holding in horror. I have a bad feeling, he said in his heart.

Jonathan Van Allent was downing mineral water from his bottle when he heard Reyhan Ibrahim screech, "Elijah fight!" It made Jonathan choke and cough.

Monica Deborah grabbed Elijah's hair and tried to bang Elijah's head against his knee.

But Elijah just lowered his head and bent it deeper while swinging his legs behind his body and landed it right on Monica's head.

Monika screamed in surprise. Then stagger and fall. The move was clearly beyond his expectations. As far as Monica is concerned, if the opponent has been hit by the jam his movement will be locked and can no longer wart.

The typical technique of fighting women is like that. But Monica Deborah forgot, Elijah doesn't like to be treated like a girl.

Knowing his opponent was out of balance, Elijah eventually undoes his intention to continue the fight.

Evan Jeremiah smiled faintly. He knew Elijah would give up. That's why he didn't try to break up the two.

Elijah's wild instincts only apply to wilder opponents. A weak opponent, could drop his pride. The weakness of the opponent is his weakness.

Elijah froze on his motorcycle with his mouth clenched. His heart thump was still pounding in an irregular hunt. His emotions are not complete. He needs an impingement. But no one dared to look for things with him. Even to get closer. The girl exhaled heavily many times.

Ika observed Elijah from across the basketball court when Jonathan Van Allent quietly approached his older brother. Jonathan stepped hesitantly as he nearly approached his brother. Ika guess in a moment Elijah will definitely go back on his rampage once Jonathan realizes he's there. But it didn't. Elijah turned to look at Jonathan then looked down for a while before finally gently punching Jonathan on the shoulder while saying something. It seems that the two brothers have begun to make peace, Ika thought.

Soon the two brothers had been driving together leaving the parking lot.

"Gun, can I ask you something?" Trying to break the silence.

Ryan was lying on the grass near Ika and his three friends in a capoeira uniform. "Don't ask me when I die!" Ryan answered.

Naomi and Ary Caroline neighed at the conversation. While Esther has turned introverted like the Ocean Goddess since her Guardian yawned. There is no longer anything that can make it tickle to respond to whatever is happening around it.

"What is the Minority Talent Program for, Gun?" Ika asked again.

Naomi and Ary Caroline turned.

"It was clear on the first day" Ryan commented.

"Gue doesn't understand Paravisian, his words are too poetic." Ika.

"Gue is also Paravisi" replied Ryan. "But I'm not poetic!"

"Gue also wondered why your kayak could be a Paravisi" Ika commented.

Ryan immediately looked up at Ika's face as he glanced.
