Still on the same day, the story that Si Mbah Turahmin uttered made a big blow in the chest of Darto. When Darto left his Grandfather's room, all of Darto's friends put on a slightly pitying face seeing Darto's eyes reddened and so bruised.
"You why Gus?" bidin asked quietly while rubbing the shoulders of Darto who was now sitting next to him.
"That's okay Din," replied Darto grimly, with lips floating, Darto tried to cover up the sadness he felt.
"Well, Gus, if there's anything in need, I'll help you Gus" said Surip, he understands and understands very well if Darto is not ready to tell the problems that Darto faces.
"You are my treasure" said Darto with a smile that was so sincere, even though the water dripped back from his eyelids.
Seeing the expression on the face of the darto, all his friends chose to silence afterwards, giving time to Darto to calm his mind.
"Dar!" the cry of Mbah Turahmin was heard again from inside the room.
"Njih Mbah," replied Darto as he hurried to leave his friend, and immediately went into Mbah Turahmin's room again.
"What's up, Mbah?" asked Darto after closing the door to Mbah Turahmin's room.
"You went back to the boarding house, right after Anto got married?" Tanya Mbah Turahmin brief.
"Jih, Mbah, Darto there is still a year of fasting the same study. What is it Mbah?''
"Look, Dar, Mbah has been negotiating with Kakung, it looks like Mbah will come there. Because there's something you need to teach you, and just in case before we go back the three of us have to kick Lastri out first. You're ready, aren't you, Dar?" Tanya Si Mbah at the nod of Head Kakung who was sitting next to Darto.
"As long as there are Si Mbah and Kakung, let alone Lastri, Darto must be ready even though it must destroy Nyai Gending though," Darto's gaze sharply pierced Mbah turahmin's eyes. It was clear that the firmness of his heart was no longer wavering.
"Alright then, Dar. Later even after that you come with us," Timpal Kakung who had been silent.
"Njih Kung, Darto said goodbye then," said briefly Darto then rushed back to his friends.
Darto's sad face gradually disappeared, now he can joke back with his friends. And it doesn't feel like time is wasted.
Kumandang Adzan Isya was heard loudly from the living room of the Darto house, rushing the five teenagers together towards the hangar together. It didn't take long, they had finished their worship.
Bidin, Surip and Harti rushed to leave Langgar and returned to Darto's house, while Darto asked Anto for permission to go and ordered that Anto's door was not in the key, because Darto will still be staying at his house tonight.
After getting a nod from Anto, Darto went to sit in the Langgar yard, waiting for his two grandfather who was praying. Smoke continued Darto exhaled from his lips tonight, did not feel the two cigarettes he smoked while waiting.
"Come, Dar," asked Mbah Turahmin while closing the door.
Hearing his call to prayer, Darto rushed up from daydreams and followed the footsteps that Sambarah and Kakung led.
"Where are we going, Mbah? Kung?" darto answered curiously. Because the road that is headed is not to the cemetery, but the road to the forest in the north of the village.
"Have come, later you also know yourself," replied Simbah briefly.
"You're ready, Dar. I'm the same Kakung will call Lastri here," he said.
After saying that word, Sewahan and Kakung sit facing each other in a position of precept. They both closed their eyes while continuing to pray, in the hands of the brother hanging the prayer beads that he continued to roll, while Mbah Turahmin only raised both hands.
Seeing his two grandfathers like that, Darto immediately sat down cross-legged facing them. Like Kakung, Darto now also prays while playing the Tasbih that he always carries in his pocket.
The atmosphere instantly became silent, only the soft whispers from the lips of the three praying men were heard, so silent even the sound of crickets was not heard at all.
"bug.. bug.. bug..," the sound of falling objects smoothed out from the pitch-black darkness. His voice continued to repeat itself, accompanied by a cold wind that gradually came and continued to grow faster.
The three men were still silent, his position did not budge at all, even though the wind was already blowing very hard. The dry leaves scattered around them began to fly, while the sound of falling objects that were originally heard was now very clearly caught by the ears.
Slowly Mbah Turahmin opened his eyes, continuing to pat Kakung and Darto alternately. The figure of Lastri who kept jumping created the sound of falling objects when stuck to the ground. His head was still hanging, twitching upside down like he was about to fall out of place.
Darto occasionally blinked his eyes, ensuring the position of the figure that continued to move in the darkness, until Kakung burned a log beside him, which he said, then the figure was clearly visible standing in front of the three men.
"Bug.." the sound of falling objects is heard back right next to Darto's body. Lastri has moved, where the original Lastri stands now leaves only a pool of blood that soaks dry leaves underneath. Wherever Lastri stood, he left a trail of foul blood beneath him.
Darto who was ready, was not surprised at all with Lastri who was suddenly sitting next to him. Instead, Darto smiled and grabbed the wet body of the lastri with both hands.
"This time I'll destroy you!" grinning Darto while holding the bloodied body of Lastri.
Lastri continued to thrash, with his hands and feet tied to the shroud, he could only continue to struggle to escape from Darto's grasp. But his efforts were in vain, when Simbah and Kakung joined to hold the form of Lastri.
Seeing his grandfather join in, Darto hurriedly closed his eyes. The ring on his finger lit up again, followed by a black kris that came out of nowhere.
After the keris Darto held, Darto chanted the holy verse aloud, and pierced the heart of Lastri while saying the meaning of the prayer he chanted.
"My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the whispers of Satan. And I take refuge (in the same way) in You, my Lord, from their coming to me'." (Q.L. Al-Mu'minun: 97-98)
"Yahoooo!!!" peekik Lastri was so loud, echoing broke the silence of the emblazoned forest.
From where Darto pierced the keris, slowly the smoke gradually came, getting thickened and gradually becoming concentrated. From the puff suddenly came sparks, which then blazed and spread, burning all over Lastri's body.
"Yahoooo!!!" lastri's chirping again broke the silence as her squirming body began to burn.
"Alhamdulillah.," said Darto relieved, after seeing the body of Lastri had become a pile of dust in front of him. Rushing he sat back down, wiped the sweat on his temple, and then fainted in front of his two Grandparents.
The years of struggle that Darto did produce results that are so satisfying, a figure that always haunts and terrorizes himself and his friend has been defeated. The story of Lastri is over.
