Ch.62 - Goldwin vs. the Crocodile Devil
The company building had mostly turned off the lights, now they were walking in a dark hallway. Mertie began to hesitate to move her legs. Cain who saw it was not to blame because the atmosphere there was very scary at the time. Cain himself did not stop goosebumps and was eager to ask what aura was here with Goldwin but because there was Mertie could not be done.
Arriving in front of a very quiet cctv control room like there was no one in it, Cain ventured to go straight in, panicking Mertie who was about to pull her back but failed and ended up following her relentlessly.
The sound of Mertie's heart pounding so hard that it felt like breathing difficulties and cold sweats, "Haha ... relax!" cain said comforting because he heard the sound of Mertie's loud heartbeat.
"How can you be this relaxed?" mertie asked, starting to catch her breath.
"The same question!" sahut Goldwin agrees with Mertie.
Cain just started laughing and started looking at all corners of the cctv camera on the monitor and started to remember them one by one while Mertie took out a small book to record them.
Shortly thereafter, the voice of the conversation of two people who were heading to where they were now. Mertie frantically looks for a place to hide but Cain still casually looks at the monitor.
"How is this?" Mertie panicked and so did Goldwin, "Do I have to close the door? tell me what to do?" ask Goldwin.
Mertie and Goldwin were already completely panicked when the sound of the doorknob would be opened but Cain just casually pulled Mertie into the column of the table behind.
Mertie's heart was gone when two officers entered the room without stopping talking. Cain began to open the curtain of the table and peeked back to look at the cctv camera angle he had not remembered.
"How can you be this relaxed?" mertie whisper.
"I'm surprised the figure of the Pink Ghost is this kind of coward!" reply Cain scoffed.
Mertie wanted to laugh but was held back and finally started to calm down, then took down the camera angle she had not recorded earlier.
"Light off!" Cain looked at Goldwin.
"Uh? Eh? now it? wait... Can you speak through my mind now?"
"Let me answer in the question and answer session! now is not the time!" Cain with a nosy tone.
Goldwin then banged his feet against the floor and a spark of gold shone in a line and went somewhere before long the lights went out. The two officers were immediately excited and started talking through Radio Walkie Talkie asking what happened.
"Who is that?" ask one of the officers when the door opens.
It was Cain and Mertie who had made it out of there. The other officer wanted to shine but the flashlight he was holding couldn't light up.
"Is this luck again?" ask Mertie.
"Where's the luck?!" goldwin said sarcastically.
Cain only replied with a smile as the lights started to turn back on. The three of them are now on the emergency stairs but at the blind spot of the cctv.
"So now we start?" ask Mertie.
"You ready?" ask Cain.
Mertie just nodded, "Related you can be alone?" cain asked doubtfully.
"Don't worry, let it be this .. I've never done the slightest mistake as a Pink Ghost."
"Ck, proud of you!" decak upset Cain.
"Haha .. come!" the word Mertie convinces Cain and the two of them start walking apart in opposite directions as much as possible past the blind spot of the cctv or use the existing property to hide but the lights are indeed deliberately turned off by the making company they can be calmer.
"How's he?" cain asked when Goldwin came back after telling Goldwin to follow Mertie.
"She was so relaxed, it wasn't like she was panicking at all."
Mertie also began installing small objects that she brought like Cain from the 1st to 10th floors while Cain from the 11th to 20th floors and after that they promised to meet in the underground parking lot.
"What's the point?" goldwin asked as Cain made it into the director's room with Goldwin's help.
"Ah, this ... there are! if you say now it's not cool .. hahaha."
Goldwin was surprised again when Cain could answer the question through his mind .. Goldwin finally added a seal to his mind to limit Cain can go into reading his mind, "This child ... he even dared to try to control me .. even though he might not realize it."
It's 3 in the morning but they still haven't finished installing all those little black things.
Goldwin sighed in boredom, "A little more!" cain said through the mind again.
"Where did you learn to speak this way?" ask Goldwin.
"Just try like Felix did it turns out I can too even though unlike Felix who can do it with everyone it seems like I can only do it with you ...."
"For a long time you've been so unlike the Leaure in general that I know, you're so different ...." Goldwin suddenly stopped talking and turned into a huge lion and roared loudly.
"What's wrong?" cain asked, covering his ears.
"There's a demon approaching, stay behind me!" Goldwin.
"Wah ... wah ... a Unimaris? Leaure! what are you doing here? isn't Viviandem still not resurrected .. how can you roam Mundclariss without your Master?!" ask someone Cain can't see because there's Goldwin in the way.
"It's none of your business traitor! get out of here before I tear you into shapeless pieces!" goldwin.
"Oh hohh .. How dare a Leaure threaten? aren't you guys protecting?"
"If Viviandem Leaure is in charge of protecting someone, Unimaris Leaure is in charge of protecting his Master .. so if you dare to touch my Master .. yes! because it's my duty ...."
"Oh so?" after he finished talking the demon directly attacked Goldwin.
Finally Cain saw that demonic figure that he had seen before. The crocodile demon that once bothered him in class, "You were that kid right? haha ... I've guessed why your aura is so powerful attracting the demons and Zhewit to arrive .. you're a Leaure ...."
"Go from here! this is my last warning!" Goldwin dodged the crocodile-faced demon attack and directly slammed it onto the floor by stepping on the crocodile's mouth.
The company building seemed to shake making Cain panic, "Goldwin!" Cain was afraid that the building would collapse if their fight continued.
Goldwin sighed knowing Cain's concern and began kicking the crocodile away.
"Well, you won today!" said the crocodile demon was starting to want to leave.
"Wait!" cain shouted, "What are you doing here?"
The crocodile demon just smiled and pulled out through its orange gate and into Mundebris.
"What was that thing on the gate?" ask Cain.
Goldwin returned to the cat form, "The gemstone of Imperial Topaz, the hallmark of the demons."
"What's he doing here?" ask Cain again.
"I don't really want to tell you but in this building there are so many human bodies hidden," Goldwin replied, giving Cain more goosebumps.
