Ch.522 - UNLUCKY: First Great War of Caelvita-119 Part 5
The condition of Efrain's troops wounded by the huge explosion caused by Felix gave his group a little spirit of hope to fight. At least their opponents already looked chaotic, no longer looked fresh and in top condition when they had just met earlier.
It seemed like there was no hope at all, but right now it was like sparking the hope of victory or at least that's what they wanted to believe.
"If under such conditions, it looks like his strength will be the same as ours now" Tom said trying to act presumptuous.
"I love your positive way of thinking, Tom!" said Tan.
Banks and Verlin half-deadly held back his laughter from hearing Tan and Tom's words.
"But .. yes, it could be!" verlin.
"Don't underestimate us!" said Tom.
"Felix ...." Zewhit The Helianthus orphanage attendant began to approach, "True, is this you Felix?!" The parlour clerk still couldn't believe what he had just seen, "You're still alive .. thank goodness!"
"Sister Felix ...." His younger siblings were also seen running small towards where Felix was. But then it was forbidden to run by the parlor officer so as not to fall. Even after becoming a Zewhit, their maternal instincts stayed.
"I thought you didn't see you with us when you were taken by that one over there .. I'm sure you'd still be alive surviving that fire!" said Brother who was the same age as before in the orphanage, arrived first in front of Felix than others, "I still don't know what's happening now .. But honestly I'm glad to see you!" continue with a smile.
But that smile turned into a sinister sight as a sword pierced through the abdomen that had just spoken to Felix. The sword was pulled up so that it split the two bodies of his former classmates. Until it disappears into smoke and the devil lives with his sword in front of Felix. The devil looks backwards with a very annoying grin.
Shouts after shouts were also heard from the other Zewhits. The parlour clerk protects the children of the orphanage as they are about to be attacked by demons and disappear along with those protected in that embrace as well.
Teo tries to protect the other Zewhits in order to get closer to Felix but sees how the demons are already there to arrive first. Teo paused his intentions and chose another place first.
Tan and Tom who were shocked by the surprise attack just moved when things were already chaotic. Tan and Tom are distracted from seeing how Felix reunites with the parlour clerk and brothers/sisters in the previous parlour. While Banks and Verlin still had time to save some Zewhit because it quickly moved.
Felix trembled and dropped his sword. His happiness lasted only a few minutes. Seeing how they came to their senses and were no longer in control. Just how they were so close but Felix couldn't protect, anymore. Makes Felix grit his teeth in anger. Felix picked up his sword along with lightning and painted thunder and sounded from above the sky.
"Hold your emotions! you lose if you feel desperate now .. They are Zewhit, all you have to worry about are the ones who are still alive." said Zeki forced to get up to hold Felix vent his anger. Fighting with emotion is suicide. Zeki, pointing at Tan, Teo and Tom who are fighting hard, is protecting Zewhit, hoping Felix changes his mind.
"Verlin!" scream Felix.
Verlin who understood the intent of Felix's gaze began to take out the angel of death scythe. Felix also transforms himself into an angel of death. Felix beckoned each other to do the same thing.
"No!" teo shouted stopping Felix and Verlin with his activity, "I still need them .. don't take them to Ruleorum Bridge first!"
Verlin was quite impressed by how Felix took Teo's rash request for granted when Felix would not seem to budge but relented as well. It would be better and safer if the Zewhits were taken to the Ruleroum Bridge to be kept away from the battlefield. Because it must be only two, if not killed again it will be used again. But from Efrain who ordered to kill the Zewhits signifies they are no longer needed. Only one remains, the Zewhit massacre.
Felix who was filled with anger managed to hold back his emotions thanks to Zeki. So that the first solution is just one to take the Zewhits away from the palace. Since it had slipped out of control then it could be summoned using the power of Ruleorum again. But Felix abandoned his intention because of Teo.
Teo's request was quite careless considering that taking the Zewhits away from the palace was the best. But Felix complied with Teo's request, although still with mixed feelings. Verlin had not expected Felix to trust his Alvauden so much even when he had not fully been seen thinking clearly.
"What?!" Felix asked back.
"You know what he's going to do .." said Zeki.
"What?! I don't understand what you mean" Felix said.
"You don't even want to talk about it .. Good! it should be so, no one should know. The most important thing is that you believe he can do it. Or we should be forced to believe .." said Zeki.
Felix closed his eyes, trying to calm himself down. Stabilizes his breathing and abnormal heart rhythm.
"I didn't expect ..they seemed happy to see me again. I was often rude to them. My shadows and nightmares have been the attitude of those who think of me as an abusive child, as the cause of the fire, as the unlucky bearer of just surviving alone. But ... In fact, they're grateful I'm alive." Felix felt guilty how he could not protect the parlour clerk and his brother/sister for the second time. But Felix's feelings of being enlightened, certainty made Felix feel relieved and at ease. Maybe Felix was already waiting for those words from them a long time ago. It seems Felix's guilt stems from a misunderstanding or Felix deliberately made the misunderstanding himself to destroy himself.
Felix stretched his hand forward, mist or rather smoke from various directions as it sucked into Felix's palm.
"I won't let you just disappear and can't be reborn." slowly formed a bracelet on Felix's wrists extended out, a bracelet with many skulls.
"You did Felix's mistake ..." said Verlin approaching.
"Don't question my actions! want it to be wrong or right .. I'm the one who decides!" felix.
All the Zewhits that disappeared and became smoke were all sucked into Felix's hand. More and more skull pendants were formed on his bracelet.
"You brought their souls into you .. It was a bad act. That will make it difficult for you one day .." said Verlin.
"I can't let them just disappear .. for a while let me take them" Felix said.
"Recovering a dead soul will damage your own soul" Verlin said.
Felix doesn't care what Verlin says. After it is finished sucking all the spirits that will disappear. Felix punched the ground creating a spreading ice. From within the ice came a skeleton of bone that seemed to have just burned.
"That's ..." said Ditte not continuing his sentence.
"He called prisoners in Hell ..." said Efrain.
"How could he do that?!" ask Ditte.
"Iriana is his guide, of course he can master the same things as Iriana" Efrain said.
"His first Ruleorum power is perfect. I didn't think .. but it's not something that needs to be asked either because Caelvita before that too. And ... Caelvita tends to follow in the footsteps of the previous Caelvita who was the guide" Verlin said seeing Felix's familiar appearance as a witness as well as when Iriana successfully perfected her Ruleorum power.
