Ch.516 - War In The World of Mind Part 9
The devil is known to be a people who are afraid of water. Being in the water could make the demonic power weaken. But along with the changing times, many demons have overcome that fear. Not all demons are now afraid of water, although the devil will still be greatly harmed if fighting in the water. But there have been many demons who are smart to swim unlike in the past which the devil is indeed no one will come closer if there is water.
Zeki himself took the initiative to teach Banks to swim. Because it always hinders if there is a mission that concerns water.
"Until when will you be afraid of water?! are you a cat?! cats are good at swimming!" zeki shouted across the river.
"I'm a goat!" the word Efrain just keeps packing up the difficulty to float and has already swallowed a lot of water.
"Goats in Mundclariss are good at swimming, you know!" shout Zeki.
"Zeki, help him!" iriana was worried.
"Don't spoil it Adriana!" shout Zeki.
"Yes, he had to be trained .. Last time, we failed to catch a criminal because he didn't want to get close to the water" Dave said.
The splashing sound of water could not be heard anymore, Efrain disappeared.
"Oh no, she drowned ..." said Iriana immediately plunged into the water looking for Efrain's whereabouts.
"Hahh .. He will never be good at swimming!" dave said with a sigh.
Efrain appeared along with Iriana. Dave pulled out an elongated rope tying Efrain's neck and directly pulled him closer to the riverbank. Iriana holds Efrain tightly in order to save energy as well to not have to swim.
"Let go! I can't breathe." complained Efrain on the strap around his neck.
Dave pulled off the rope to shorten it to just 1 cm and then put it back in his pocket.
The four of them were silent, the annoyed Zeki, the unpredictable Dave, the breathless Efrain, the cold Iriana. Accidentally the eyes of the four of them met and they started laughing together.
Zeki who was waiting on the surface of the water was lulled by the memories of his past, "All the memories are sweet in his time and will be bitter when the time comes" Zeki said in his heart.
You could say, Zeki is currently superior. Taking over the world of mind and knowing the weakness of the opponent, "It seems this is finally Efrain .. ka.. .. you ...." Zeki who was celebrating his victory saw an orange-colored sword piercing from behind to the front of his chest. Zeki turned around and saw Efrain, "You managed to ride ...." Zeki sits limp but can still defend himself above the water even though some of his feet are already in the water.
"You taught me how to swim, you forgot?!" Efrain.
"I didn't know you could.." said Zeki, having trouble speaking.
"You're a bad teacher, but because of that I'm always training alone and I can finally swim" Efrain said.
"Iriana and Dave would love to hear you can swim ..." said Zeki holding Efrain's sword and pushing it back and pulling it behind his back to the ground using an extended tree branch. Efrain simply watched as Zeki took off his sword.
"Seeing from how he didn't chop off my head signifies he was still in doubt .." Zeki said inwardly.
The water turns red because Zeki's blood keeps flowing. The fake full moon that shone so brightly in the world of thought made it clear how Zeki's blood was now beginning to appear to be spreading.
Efrain seemed to start a fire in his hand and drew his sword that was submerged in the water like a magnet. Zeki took the opportunity by throwing the bottle towards Efrain.
Efrain put out the fire in his hand and smashed the bottle until the liquid in it fell into the water causing a lot of foam. Efrain flew high then spewed fire from his mouth downwards. The fire under Efrain became larger than Efrain had started.
When the fire disappeared, Zeki was lying on the ground with wounds everywhere. Zeki removes the water that is there but it is too late.
Efrain landed near Zeki's head, "You think I don't know you?! I know you very well Zeki." said Efrain.
"We've fought together in a team, it's only natural that I know how to read your movements and thoughts without you telling me" Efrain said.
"I'm flattered .. I can't believe you still know how I work" said Zeki still lying down, "It seems .. This is the end! kill me Efrain! this time it's real ...."
"Goodbye Zeki ..." said Efrain preparing his sword.
"Goodbye ... Effrey!" zeki closed his eyes.
Meanwhile in the other world of mind there is Felix, "No ... Zeki ..." said Iriana.
"What's up?!" ask Felix.
There was no answer from Iriana, so Felix just guessed the answer himself. Felix flew high upwards then quickly dropped his punch as it landed with green flames devouring the entire world of thought that was confining him.
"Ow, it's time!" banks said seeing the mind world next to Teo was all just filled with bright green light.
"Hahh .. I'm not done yet." lamented Verlin.
Banks and Verlin get a signal code from Felix and start doing everything according to the planned strategy.
The fight in the world of mind is clearly inevitable, so Felix is not silent. I've been making plans for a long time.
"So, when do we do it?" ask Verlin.
"When I give you a sign." Felix said.
"Hand?! like what?!" ask Verlin.
"You'll know when you see it." Felix replied.
"So that's the sign?!" verlin said laughing as he recalled how while still putting together a plan.
Banks and Verlin hold the ground and they are both pushed up by a coffin that appears from inside the ground. The coffin opened and a skull appeared.
"Waw, is this what my body looks like now?!" Verlin was disgusted by himself with his original body that resided in the bones. Verlin held the skull of his body head which was in the chest and then the skeleton of his body turned into a very large as well as Banks.
Verlin and Banks climbed up the skull of his own skeleton and struck a sword there. Their skeletons were both seen lengthening the bones in the arms holding both sides of the mind world then Verlin and Banks turned their swords clockwise like turning a key on the door.
Efrain closed his eyes as he was about to swing his sword, "Sorry ...." Efrain shed tears but felt something strange and opened his eyes. Since his sword felt lightly swinging, there was no sign of any resistance at all. It turned out that Zeki was no longer in front of him, "Where ...."
"Here!" said Tom.
"How come you're here?!" ask Efrain.
"The world of thought is already joined to each other. No more barriers!" said Tan who appeared behind Efrain.
"You think we came without a plan?! we are not cattle that have accepted the fate of being slaughtered. We are preparing for today!" said Tom grinning.
Efrain wiped away his tears, "Hahh ..." while grunting an inexhaustible laugh. Then ran quickly towards Tom who was holding Zeki, "I won't make any more mistakes!"
