Ch.398 - End of Patience
Tan is now resigned if he has to be a target, because he has to help Demelza first. But when Tan again ventured out his hand, Demelza was no longer there. Apparently Demelza dropped himself even though it looks like his leg is now injured.
Tan immediately got off the ride and saw Demelza struggling to stand up but had to hide again as people approached.
Demelza silenced her mouth so as not to make a sound after forcing herself to run to hide.
"I didn't expect you to jump right away" Tan said laughing, "It's so great."
Demelza looked at the greenhouse that last night had left her trapped nowhere, "I won't even get close to the place again even if pressed."
"Yes, don't go there anymore! please ..." said Tan in agreement, "Em?!" Tan saw a balloon filled with flowers landing on Demelza's head.
The shape of the balloon was very beautiful, so Demelza was not afraid and touched it. But when it was touched the balloon erupted and shot countless flowers into the air like flares.
"Wire, run!" tan shouted that was not heard by Demelza but without it Demelza had run.
The dark and creepy night changed after a rain of colorful flowers. Behind the beautiful flowers that fell there were many people who were now running towards the direction the flower flare appeared.
Demelza's injured leg certainly slowed Demelza's run. Unlike last night, Demelza ran with all her might and managed to hide. Unable to rely on speed anymore, Demelza used his wits. Demelza entered into the middle of the flower bush, relying on her small body. Although now many scratches on his skin.
"This is the same as yesterday .." said Demelza who was trapped and could not go anywhere. Everyone is filling the park now.
While Osvald is still running towards the residential area. Many of the houses seen with smoke coming out showed there was someone inside. Makes Osvald so happy and keeps running. Indeed, all houses are still like models of old Yardley houses that are all wood. Osvald couldn't think of the oddity just yet because of his focus on saving himself from the cold first.
The first house reached by Osvald was immediately knocked but there was no answer, Osvald did not grieve but began to knock on other houses. Until the last house nobody opened the door, Osvald began to shed tears. Shaking in the cold, Osvald knelt down begging to open the door. But not a single door moved at all.
"It seems like there are no people. This house was only created to torture Osvald. Giving false hope ..." said Tom.
"There's!" teo said after peering through the walls of the house, "Aaaaaaaa!" yelled Teo then.
"What's up?!" ask Tom.
"The one inside also peeked out, our eyes met." Teo replied excitedly.
"They can't see you .." said Tom annoyed.
"It wasn't you who experienced it .. Try you earlier, I can make sure you would react the same!" teo said in self-defense.
Osvald was seen curling up in the cold outside someone's house and arranging chairs and tables around him. There is a fairly wide tablecloth. Osvald undressed all his clothes and hung them on the chair used as the wall and made the tablecloth a blanket while his clothes were waiting to dry. But instead of dry, his clothes petrified.
"Osvald ...." Teo and Tom could not bear to see Osvald so pitiful.
After checking everyone in the house turned out to look out as well. Know that there are people outside but just don't want to help.
"I already knew that this was arranged, the people here ... house here ... everything is not real but still very annoying" said Tom.
For how long, Teo and Tom were sitting next door not wanting to get too close to Osvald, "The seat stopped moving!" said Teo who glanced at the place where Osvald was.
"It was always moving because of Osvald's constant trembling ..." said Teo began to stand up, "There's no way he's stopped cold." Teo walked closer to where Osvald was, "He doesn't exist!"
"Huhh?!" Tom who was about to fall asleep again finally approached also checked.
There was only a frozen Osvald suit hanging from the chair but Osvald wasn't there.
"How the hell?! you should've been watching him!" said Tom.
"Don't lecture me! while you sleep alone!" teo sebal said.
"Where is he?!" Teo and Tom began to search.
"Here!" shout Teo.
Tom ran quickly towards Teo and immediately gawked at what he saw. Osvald is seen trying to get in through someone's window.
"Is he going to steal?" ask Teo.
"It's okay ..he has to survive in warm clothes" said Tom who himself hesitates to say so.
Teo and Tom wait outside the house hoping Osvald comes out in warm clothes but instead a noise is heard from inside the house.
"Based thief! it's disgusting! what does a dirty rat like you do set foot inside our house?!" shouted the homeowner who immediately pushed Osvald by being kicked out of the house violently.
"Osvald?!" Teo wants to get closer but is held back by Tom.
All the doors of the house suddenly opened all and people approached Osvald with angry gazes. What's more, the chairs and the table were used by Osvald earlier. The chair and table were thrown and smashed in disgust by Osvald. Osvald's clothes were also trampled and now filled with dirt.
"How is this?!" Teo panicked to see everyone approaching Osvald.
"Here you are, apparently!" the sound that made Demelza's heart almost jump out of his taste. Demelza was pulled out of the shrub of the plant.
"No ...." Tan could do nothing when he saw Demelza being pulled by the woman in red and high heels.
Demelza's injured leg made him unable to walk and continued to fall. Eventually Demelza was dragged in a way that only her hair was pulled.
"Let'soooooo!" Demelza was shouting loudly in pain being dragged around like that. Asking for help but no one helped, everyone just stared cynically. Each time the sound of high heels sounds indicates he will be interested again. Demelza felt the sound of the high heels was like an alarm of torture.
Tom closes Teo's eyes when he sees Osvald now being beaten and kicked by all the citizens there. The pretentious Tom protects Teo from seeing it ending up unable to hold back any longer and leaves Teo still blindfolded and walking towards Osvald.
Tan also could not stand it anymore and began to step foot after Demelza who was still being pulled by force.
"I don't care anymore!" tan and Tom said with definite steps. While Teo was crying still closed her eyes and ears as Tom had ordered.
