Ch.358 - Unexpected Verlin
When Felix chooses to save Carola, Verlin and Zeki who come to school replace Felix guard both Zewhit. Verlin and Zeki, who had just kept watch from several buildings from the school, eventually had to intervene.
"He's the same as Iriana! so weak!" zeki said he regretted the choice Felix made.
Verlin and Zeki have offered to help as well but not to show it clearly. After all, their time had passed, they were both now only former Alvauden and former Secrevanques. It is an obligation not to stand out anymore but be ready to help the new generation if needed.
"Finally they appeared again ..." said Verlin feeling the aura of the two ghosts as he entered the school.
"Iriana used to invite them to play or visit their house in Bemfapirav, but it seems she doesn't even care about Iriana who is now gone.." said Zeki.
Verlin was silent, not knowing how to comfort Zeki.
"Some one's coming!" zeki said he felt something.
The screaming sounds of the Clown Zewhit and the Dwarf Zewhit sounded so loud. Verlin and Zeki quickly ran towards the direction of the shout and found the two Zewhits already attracted by the rope connected to the prison made by the Devil Lizard.
Zeki immediately jumped to cut the rope that bound the two Zewhits while Verlin untied the necks of the two of them.
"You all right?" ask Verlin.
Zewhit The Clown and the Dwarf let out tears but a loud laugh upset Verlin, "I shouldn't have asked ...."
"What's this?! Zewhit helped Zewhit?!" the Devil Biawak.
Verlin and Zeki are actually Zewhit. So they both were not offended at all.
"You alone?!" ask Zeki.
"Young Master ...." The monitor greeted him politely, "Ah, yes .... Hasn't it been?!" then changed his expression to a prank.
"Smile as much! you think you can alone defeat us both?! That stupid Efrain seems to trust you too much. Alright ... I'll let you live and make Efrain kill you himself by failing to take them both" Zeki said casually.
The monitor demon attacked Zeki angrily, "How dare you call His Majesty... stupid?!"
Verlin came forward to help Zeki but was knocked down instantly with the attack of the Devil Lizard. Verlin was not a fighter after all. His ability in fighting was indeed at the bottom level compared to the other Viviandem.
"I know you've always adored Efrain, but how yes .. Your name alone he doesn't know! I know because 99% of my life has always been with him" Zeki said, provoking the Devil Lizard.
"Hahh .. He still hasn't changed! I like to make opponents emotional. Just found out if he died and disappeared without a trace" said Verlin who saw Zeki continue to be hit by an emotional Devil Lizard.
In reality the Devil Lizard is indeed very powerful. Zeki himself could clearly see the difficulty of avoiding the attack. Though the one who can corner Zeki so usually is just Efrain. Verlin helps as much as he can but is mostly just blocking or getting hit.
The two Zewhits were just sitting sweetly while clapping enjoying the fight. Overreacting in case something interesting happens.
"This is the third time I want to kill them!" said Zeki staring at Zewhit's second hate.
"First and second when?" verlin asked, not familiar with the situation.
"Do I have to answer now?!" zeki sebal said.
The cracked walls of the school caused Zeki and Verlin to start being cautious, "Don't let us destroy this school.." said Zeki.
"Are you still obsessed with school because you can't go to school?!" verlin said he was still joking.
"Where's Felix?! he should have come back!" verlin said he saw a big school clock.
The Devil Lizard attacked using Isvintria making Zeki and Verlin fall bounced on the ground several times making the school yard grass become messy and damaged. Seeing that, the Devil Lizard grinned and turned to the two Zewhits.
Zewhit Clowns and Dwarves are only seen gawking. Showing no expression of fear at all or a desire to escape.
"Basic stupid! run!" yelled Zeki who still could not sit down.
The Lizard Devil slowly began to approach the two Zewhits and resurrected the Sapphire-drenched prison. The Devil Lizard violently threw a whip and tied the two necks of the Zewhit and pulled him into the prison. Zeki tried to stand up and throw his sword but it did not deter the Devil Lizard at all. He easily dodged Zeki's sword.
The two Zewhits were in that prison. Keep jumping around indistinctly and shouting screeching then laughing.
"Hahh .. I hate them!" verlin.
"You're sober?" ask Zeki.
The sapphire prison was pulled towards Verlin and destroyed in just one blow. Making the Clown and Dwarf Zewhit excited to see the prison turned into a shimmering powder that fell down like stars falling from the sky.
"You don't know, do you?! I am Nusfordis Sapphire. The Ruleorum heirloom I could easily call and destroy as I wished. So, don't you dare throw me like that again!" verlin's words made Zeki hold back a laugh. Verlin held onto the shoulder of the Clown and the Dwarf and was made to disappear, "And .. I am also a Ruleorum, I easily have the skill to control the Zewhit as I please. So if you want them back, you have to beat me first! you can't kill me either because I'm the only one who knows where I'm hiding! you shouldn't have thrown me like that!" honestly, Verlin was ashamed of being thrown like that.
"I can't believe a weak Quiris like you is Nusfordis Sapphire ...." the Demon Lizard said seeing the Sapphire Gemstone embedded in Verlin's hand shine brightly and turn into a bow and arrow formed from that sapphire gemstone as well. In other words with arrows that will never end.
"You know you've been hit by a weapon from the supreme Gemstone Owner, even if you manage to evade and I don't manage to kill you but with a small wound alone can make you suffer for life. So, be happy because I have bad eyesight ..." said Verlin grinned and immediately bred his arrows against the arms of the Devil Lizard and made it turn blue and then rot.
"Your eyesight is really bad! you should have hit his heart or his head!" Zeki took the opportunity to attack the evil monitor lizard in pain.
"I also target it know!" verlin said.
The fight has already started to look draw and slowly one-sided with Zeki and Verlin excelling.
The sun began to appear making the Devil Lizard carry out its deadly attack to escape.
"Hhhh ...." Zeki threw himself to lie down, "You still have to be exposed to Isvintria and can use your power.It is very sad!"
"After all, I am an outcast Ruleorum, it is not easy to use the power of Nusfordis Sapphire plus it is now a Zewhit" said Verlin.
"You're still weak, but you can always be doubled. Thanks to you too we both survived when Efrain attacked that time .. It feels like just yesterday we laughed with Efrain and Dave but now it's you and me" said Zeki.
When Verlin wants to console Zeki, the Three Twins come.
"What are you doing here?" ask Tom.
"Don't ask!" zeki Sahut.
"Then how do we know if we don't ask?!" said Teo.
Verlin laughed and began to stretch and resurface the two Zewhits. As the two Zewhits appeared and saw the sun directly, they excitedly ran into the school.
"Basic, Zewhit village ..." said Zeki made Verlin and the Three Twins laugh.
