Ch.300 - Endless Tragedy
The sound of ambulance sirens starting to sound closer made Tan not have enough time to concoct potions. So he called out to Tellopper and sliced his hand until it bled out. After that his hand was made into an O shape and Tan blew his blood in a spinning manner. Tan's blood mixed with the green powder from Tellopper now flew through the air and directly into the respiratory system, making the people who inhaled it instantly lose consciousness.
"I don't trust you, but this is purely because of an order from Felix to allow you to save the night" Tan told Kayle who didn't pass out because Tan excluded her from the target to be forgotten.
Felix liked how Tan was being so defensive, after all Kayle was not a trustworthy figure. But according to Felix there is no harm in trying to make one adult know this as an experiment to find out if it can help or even hinder. It's easy because now the Alvauden potion made by Tan from his blood is already in Kayle's respiratory system, waiting to be activated or deactivated according to Kayle's future behavior development.
"I promise you, I won't waste this opportunity!" said Kayle.
"Beware .. if something bad spreads or identity is revealed or whatever happens tonight I will come to see you! or even actually no need also ...." Tan warned.
Teo was busy persuading the dead mother's spirit and Tom was near Antonia's Spirit to not leave.
"Miss Hylmi's okay, right?" ask Tom.
"It turns out you guys are really not ordinary children .." Antonia said seeing her own body that was already in a lifeless state.
"We need to get going!" teo said he had entered the Alvauden gate before the mother changed her mind again.
"Felix?" Tom called because the question had not been answered.
"He won't last long, the human body is unable to accept and excrete Isvintria .." Felix said.
"I'll come back later with Banks to check it out. Take it easy, Tom!" tan said to attract Mertie to enter Bemfapirav, "I will follow if I have taken Mertie far from here ...." Tan is told by Felix not to take Mertie to Mundebris so Tan can only take her to Bemfapirav in hiding.
Tom calls his Alvauden gate and enters with Antonia's spirit followed by Felix and follows behind them.
"So you're their leader?" kayle asked before Felix went inside the gate.
"The events of tonight no one will remember but you. No one will believe what you say. So, I'll see how you get through .. just like how the innocent perpetrators you arrested. They keep talking that they don't remember what happened, and that's true. It was the devil who possessed them and made them do what they did not want" Felix said without turning around.
"I couldn't get them out of jail, even if they weren't the ones doing it but that's how it looks" Kayle said.
"Is that how you are capable?" ask Felix.
"At least I can help ease their punishment ..." Kayle replied.
"That sounds better!" felix said to enter the gate.
Teo and Tom brought the Mother Spirit and Antonia Spirit to the front of the Ruleorum bridge.
"So I was entering the world of darkness which is the world of my ancestors who came to the world of man ..." said Antonia looking around, "It's incredible! so who are you guys? and who is he?" Antonia pointed at Felix who was sitting leaning in front of the entrance gate of the bridge. In Mundclariss it might not be too pronounced but when in Mundebris, it can be very clear Felix's enormous aura can make one feel intimidated.
"He's the leader in this world .." said Tom.
"My knowledge of the world is still very little and I'm dead .. It feels unfair!" Antonia.
"I beg you to check on my son whether it is okay .." said the Spirit of the Mother possessed by Ditte earlier.
"I've doused it with Ruleorum salt, I'll make sure the bad things that stick to your son are gone" Tom said.
"Mu.tom ...." Felix saw Tom linger chatting with the two spirits.
"Yes, I'm coming!" tom Sahut.
The two spirits understood that they had to start saying goodbye and step forward to the bridge.
"I didn't expect to die so soon .." said Antonia feeling heavy lifting her legs.
..."Forever the sudden thing comes...
...and we can't run from it...
...is death....
...No one is ever ready...
...when picked up by death....
...But when it comes...
...we can only surrender...
...family, friends, lovers, possessions and thrones just like that...
...and welcome the hand of the Angel of Death."...
A humming song was heard under the bridge as if hypnotizing the two spirits to walk into the bridge without any rejection at all.
They could have stepped up on their own with the persuasion from Tom but it seemed like the River Ruleorum was taking over because Tom had been coaxing too long and seemed like he was about to fail.
Both of them still have so many unrealized lifelong desires that they make heavy legs to accept the fate of death.
Teo was not helpful because he did not know exactly what was going on with the two of them. So just sit in front of the other side gate of Felix.
"I've always had goosebumps hearing that song .." said Teo.
"It would be easy if it was the sound of an animal or plant Mundebris but not. The voice that doesn't have a shape is very creepy .." said Tom began to join in.
"Five" said Felix.
"Six!" Teo spontaneously answered.
"Ck!" Tom hit Teo, "What's five Felix?"
"Ditte is trying hard to meet that number" Felix said.
"That's a sign he failed! Nek Hylmi survived and the police were likely safe as well ..." said Tom still did not lose hope.
"That means no matter what happens he has to kill five people before moving.." Teo said.
"With the amount to be appropriate it indicates there is a pattern that we do not know .. we must find out as soon as possible!" felix.
"It would be very scary if it got out on the news that every village there would be five people killed .." Teo said.
"It's going to electrify Yardley, not .. not even the world!" said Tom.
"I have a bad feeling about this .." said Felix.
Meanwhile Tan and Mertie had already walked quite a distance and started to return to Mundclariss.
"It looks like we're pretty far away from Kimber Village" Tan said.
"I don't know what if something like this keeps happening .. The world will just be filled with fear" Mertie said.
"I don't think I'm going there, Mertie can't seem to go home by herself!" tan said through the Alvauden Network.
"It's okay, we'll be right back!" reply Teo.
Thanks to the Ruleorum salt spread by Tom makes the Devils seem difficult to get close but eventually bring a very strong Devil, Ditte. Only Ditte seemed able to complete the mission in Kimber Village. After taking two victims, Ditte targeted three more victims. There were already four victims with the Mother Spirit and the Antonia Spirit. There was only one more person left, Grandma Hylmi and Lian, out of these two who would make Ditte's mission fulfilled.
