Ch.298 - Tragedy part 2
Lian and the mother who was possessed by Ditte earlier fell together. Antonia has also been shot twice, in his legs and arms. Tom came to check on the mother who was possessed by Ditte earlier but her pulse was very weak. The mother's husband and family began to approach when they were told by Tom that she was safe. Kayle also came to check on her co-workers. Lian is his junior and has just entered the crime detective team.
"Stay conscious! you heard Lian! stay conscious! I'll call an ambulance soon." cried Kayle.
Fresh blood shot out from Lian's mouth as she wanted to speak, "The darit's tissue couldn't function senior ...." Starting from the incident of the child, they had actually asked for reinforcements but the communication network disappeared. Reinforcements could not come let alone ambulance. That made Lian just resigned.
"My job is done!" said Antonia saw the mother's family crying, the sign that the mother had died.
Kayle emotionally wants to hit Antonia but is held back by Lian.
"If anything happens to Lian, the intention is I'll just make you rot in prison but it doesn't feel like anymore. I'll kill you myself!" said Kayle.
Lian's act to protect the mother was a noble deed. But what he does is stupid based on medical knowledge. Indeed Lian intended to protect and reduce the wound from the mother but it was too late. Even without Antonia's injuries, he lost a lot of blood and got into a fight, making it even worse. The mother could only survive because there was Ditte inside but once Ditte came out everything would be over.
Kayle held back as much as possible so that Lian's bleeding could stop and kept Antonia's sword in Lian's chest. Luckily, Antonia was after her heart so Lian was hit by a sword on the right instead of the left. Although Lian's heart was not affected but still it was worrying and needed medical help as soon as possible. Otherwise, it could be dangerous and even take Lian's life as well.
"It's enough for just one life, I won't let it go again!" said Kayle.
Tom dropped his axe after seeing something that left him shocked and unable to do anything more now. Opposite Tom, Antonia tried to stand up and take her sword back with her own blood-filled hand. With the rest of his strength he began to stand ready with his sword.
Tom who saw Antonia immediately blocked him, "Don't! I'll get her out of that body soon so .. wait! i beg!" Tom looks desperate.
"What's going on?" ask Kayle.
"The devil apparently escaped and is now in a new human body!" answer Antonia.
"What do you mean?" ask Kayle.
"Grandma's!" Antonia pointed.
Felix who saw that had no other choice but to show himself. Tom is currently in a bad condition. Felix knew very well that Tom and Grandma had an inexplicable bond when they had only met twice.
"Who are you?" kayle asked to see Felix's appearance.
"So you've been stopping me all this time ..who are you?" ask Antonia.
"Ow .. So you know this grandma personally huh? I see her memories with you?" said Ditte started walking and talking using Grandma Hylmi.
"Get out Ditte!" scream Felix.
Tom dropped his tears, unable to imagine the terrible things that befell Grandma Hylmi. It is only natural that Ditte will choose Grandma Hylmi to be possessed. It seems that Granny Hylmi is very happy but it is because of her birthday. Apart from that, food and drinks and all the needs of Grandma Hylmi's party are as big as preparing. Of course if anyone was so exhausted at this party, it was Granny Hylmi herself.
"Am I going to die?" the voice heard by Felix came from Grandma Hylmi who was being taken over her body, "It's okay!" he said to Felix who looked at him, "It's just .. It's sad to die on his own birthday!" nek Hylmi said with a voice that sounded forced cheerful.
"Miss Hylmi, can you hear me? I will take out the Devil that is in Grandma's body! so ... Just wait a minute! grandma heard, right?" Tom tries to make Nek Hylmi fight against Ditte.
"I'm fine Tom, all I regret is .. I should have treated you better!" reply Nek Hylmi but only Felix can hear and Felix has no intention at all to convey that. It would only make Tom more unfocused.
"You saw it, right? this would all be endless if it did not directly kill him while the Devil was still inside the human body. There will continue to be other victims .." Antonia said.
"Yes, I know that! there'll be! but I will also remain there to prevent this from happening!" said Tom.
Felix runs to attack Grandma Hylmi who is being possessed by Ditte. Tom this time just focused on blocking Antonia and leaving everything to Felix.
"Felix, I beg you!" tom said through his mind.
Felix transforms himself using Ruleorum's crown to make it easier for him to remove Ditte inside Grandma Hylmi's body. If a little bit exposed by the weapon or touch of skin and clothes malikat death will make Ditte thrown out. Because the Devil is not fit to be in the human body and it is the Ruleorum's job to keep humans and human spirits from being polluted by other spirits or bodies that are not supposed to be.
Kayle kept trying to contact the ambulance but the network remained non-existent. After several days of disguising herself in Kimber Village, Kayle knew that there were no medical facilities and also health workers in the village to help her deal with Lian's wounds.
"What am I supposed to do?" Kayle is further confused plus the fight between Antonia and Tom as well as Felix who suddenly appears and the Devil who enters a new human body.
A girl snatched Kayle's phone, "Who are you? what do you want? give it back!" kayle said the gun felt threatened.
"I'm going to make this phone network again!" answer the girl.
"Mertie?!" said Tom.
"Sorry, lama! I had to make the same device to protect the camera that could be used for mobile phones" Mertie said.
"So ..all electronic devices won't work if there's a Devil around here. So I made a protector for that .. it took a long time because it's for a cell phone and it's very impromptu, it's, in fact, I thought it would not be finished today and more importantly, fortunately, the Police Chief's phone is still using the button instead of the touch screen!" Mertie.
"Get him back on!" Tom saw Mertie so excited.
