Ch.27 - Malexpir
"Let's go out and eat and then we'll go again!" yell Daisy from the terrace.
"Surely what I felt was Alexavier every house that was looking at me."
Cain offered orange juice to Felix who stayed dreamy.
Daisy shows them the empty room, "So what stuff will be put in here?" tom asked with a tired voice.
"This will be your room, whatever you want to fill it with!" daisy's words were immediately welcomed happily by them.
"So we can come here often?" ask Tom.
"That's the point, because mom is rarely home so if there is time you stay overnight here alone .. pretty close to your school."
"So our goal is to keep the house?" Cain narrowed his eyes.
"Bingo!" answer Daisy who was immediately rewarded huuuu from them.
"The house has its guard" Felix said in his heart.
The empty room they just filled first with Daisy's purple-colored fur carpet, and they all went to sleep there with the twilight sun shining down from the translucent glass walls of the third floor, "They must be all tired," said Daisy while wanting to close the door, "Of course .. with how you tell her here and there must be tired of them," Alexavier said beside Daisy.
Felix who heard that just smiled and went on to sleep again.
The night arrives and they agree to spend the night there and tell Daisy to take their uniforms at the parlor. Tan, Teo and Tom watched the television in the living room while Felix and Cain went up to the third floor while calling Alexavier who was standing in the front yard as if on patrol.
"I can't believe a ghost like me can meet you."
"So what's your name?" ask Felix.
"Eulalia" he answered.
"Just call Lia," he added.
"So Alexavier's in all the houses?" ask Cain.
"Not really, just for the house that never happened a crime or Alexavier will be called and leave the house."
"Is it just home? What about Orphanage?" Felix leaning against the wall.
"All buildings should have Alexavier but recently many Alexavier Orphanages were slaughtered by Malexpir."
"Malexpir?"
"Westernly if in the human world they are thugs but other terms they are ghosts that sway."
"Caught?" ask Felix.
"Wait .. how does an Alexavier know something like this?" Cain confused the housekeeper why could know so much outside information.
"Ah, that's the time this house will be sold I take a short walk away from the house. There's no occupants to look after anyway."
"So you also look after the inhabitants? Not just a house?" ask Cain again.
"Alexavier's main task is to maintain the safety of the occupants of the house, the second task is to guard the house."
"So how can Alexavier prevent something as bad as a fire?" Felix started to get to the heart of the conversation that he wanted to ask.
"At least if there's Alexavier, it could wake up the occupants of the house or if Alexavier's strong powers could help slow the fire to spread."
"So who said Alexavier was a slaughtered orphanage? How did you get that information?"
"Because I'm a former journalist as well so when I go out for a day I can get a lot of information before coming back" Lia said proudly.
Cain just exhaled loudly and began to climb on the bed lying down, "You ghost or not if the journalist well this .. ck.. ck. .. ck."
"Where can I find that Malexpir?" asked Felix who immediately woke up Cain.
"Felix?!"
"Like thugs in general they will be difficult to find let alone ghost thugs but if we go to the place where they are intended to commit crimes they will be easy to find."
"Don't tell me now you're going around the orphanage?" ask Cain.
"Let's just say we're helping Mertie, isn't it you who forced her to help her ..." Felix said.
"Why are you smiling?" Felix asked Lia.
"I'm sorry, I just didn't expect to meet and see a newbie who was at the core of the dark world being told like that ...." Lia laughed again.
"That's a compliment or a mockery?" Felix's upset.
"You're saying Felix is the core of the world of darkness? Mundebris right? What exactly is Felix?" ask Cain.
"I'm just an ordinary Alexavier ghost if I say things that I shouldn't have instantly disappeared from this world."
"Whatchu mean? thugs ... I mean Malexpir was free to commit a crime why not disappear?" Cain was annoyed at not getting the answer he wanted.
"Normally there is a duty to catch them but since the Caldway disappeared all activity became stopped and the ghost became free to do as he pleased."
"You mean there are cops too in the world of darkness .. ah .. no ... The mundebris?" Cain laughed a little.
"Of course there are, Mundclariss and Mundebris are not much different."
"Mundclariss? The opposite of the world of darkness?" ask Felix.
"The world of light or the world in which man dwells, the place in which we now live."
"Couldn't you tell us a little about Felix?"
"I've been a ghost for 50 years making me vulnerable when I say or do bad things."
"So who became a ghost thug .. I mean Malexpir is a new ghost? That so?" ask Cain.
"It's so thick."
"Do people just have to die and become Malexpir?" Felix hid his shining nails.
"It's so beautiful ...."
"You know what this is?" shows his shining nails.
"You guys are here apparently, ." Teo interrupted their conversation and went into the room making Lia immediately hide behind the curtain.
"Let's get off .. we have dinner!" Daisy called.
Felix was upset not playing, especially having to wrap his hands with a sweater sleeve extended to cover his nails and wear socks while the warmers were being turned on.
After dinner Felix searches for Lia's whereabouts but is nowhere to be found. He also told Cain to come looking when Cain could not see the ghost he finally searched himself here and there but was not found, "Did he deliberately hide from me?"
Long Felix waited until midnight even as Cain and the others slept he woke up looking, "Here you look!"
"I can't tell you more, but I can tell you where Alvauden sSang Caldway is," Lia then showed her palm containing the address.
"How do you know about him?"
"He has been searching here and there for your whereabouts and leave this address if he meets the successor of the Caldway."
"What a little boy ..." said Felix inwardly, "He was very careless as Alvauden gave an address and asked people about it," Felix put on an annoyed face.
"He's a smart Alvauden, don't worry .. he knows what's being done and I'm told this because it's also a trustworthy Alexavier."
Felix went back to the bedroom with the address he had recorded, but somehow he felt rushed to do something to make his heart unable to stop beating so fast that he could not sleep.
"Calm down, there's no need to rush ..." there's a female voice inside Felix, "Huh? Who's that?"
