Ch.124 - Selfishness
A few days passed after the handover of the award charter that upset Felix, but now the charter was instead displayed on the walls of Felix and Cain's room. Felix seemed to have gotten used to it and did not mind it anymore when before Felix wanted to immediately throw it away shortly after receiving it. But Cain instead gave a laughable comment, "You have no pity for this paper that comes from trees .. at least appreciate the sacrifice of the tree that has become this paper, where else the ink and frame ... that's called waste and it doesn't really appreciate nature!" Felix was so speechless that Cain's expression was too exaggerated when he said that.
Over the weekend, FCT3 returned to the home because it had not helped the work in the home for a long time. Even early in the morning they move to clean up even though the other child has not woken up.
Cain watched Felix making another bracelet filled with strands of his hair, "You'll be bald for a long time!" cain said when he saw Felix pluck his hair, "You're not thinking of making a bracelet for everyone who lives in this world right?!" Cain saw Felix who had been clever to make a bracelet so accustomed and already very much he made. But Cain couldn't stop that either because it proved useful. At the service this morning, Felix prevented many other children from getting hurt. Even knowing before the incident happened by having prepared a mattress that was initially scolded by Mother Corliss for removing the mattress that was clean it was used to help Zan who fell while climbing the stairs to paint.
"Is there a sign, is there? I mean when the one wearing your bracelet is in danger?" Cain was curious about how it worked.
Felix just nodded and seriously made a bracelet. Cain realized Felix's silence, "You see their future? see when they're hurt? isn't it very disturbing .. see the future of someone hurt who although it can be prevented. But can it help you forget the horrible future of someone you helped?! those who are helped will know nothing but you will remember it ...." Cain felt Felix could have been depressed by the future that had not happened by seeing bad events. It might be preventable but it won't forever be part of Felix's memory.
Felix dropped the bracelet he made and started running out of the room, "What's up?" shout Cain.
Cain chases after him and finds Felix behind the parlour unloading a garbage can with a lighter. After finding it Felix looks relieved to see Kiana come looking for her hairpin in the trash can. It can be concluded that Felix saw Kiana injured while looking for her hairpin in the trash because of the gas match that was thrown carelessly.
At midnight Felix woke up in a panic to the point of bumping here and there but without complaining of any pain at all. Cain woke up to the sound of the impact and saw Felix open the door and run. It turns out there was a stove in the kitchen that forgot to turn off. The new kitchen attendant arrived when Felix had turned off the stove, "Thank you Felix, I'm sorry I forgot to turn it off!" said the kitchen officer.
"I can't keep seeing you like Felix!" cain said in his heart to see Felix sweat in the cold middle of the night, "You can't just ignore it! everything will be fine!" cain said give me a glass of water.
"You don't know what I saw .. Even if it didn't make the fire house but the kitchen was destroyed because of it!" said Felix gulped straight down all that water.
"From what I've heard if it hinders human destiny even if it's a small one, it's going to happen one day! even if you prevent it, it will happen someday .. that is the destiny of man!" said Cain.
"I don't care! as long as I can stop it, I will! at least you should side with me for this Cain!" felix.
"You can't enjoy your life anymore Felix! I can't allow that ..." said Cain inadmissive.
"Makanya .. help me Cain!" Felix looks so exhausted.
"I let you give a bracelet to Mertie and Viola's mother, just to find out if Ted is approaching them both ... just so you know I don't really care what's going to happen to those two. But with all the parlors you gave me bracelets and kept helping out like this. .. I'm not letting you! let it all happen ..." said Cain.
Felix laughed at Cain's words, "Don't laugh! I'm not kidding .." said Cain.
"Just ...." Felix is still laughing.
"What is it? because I'm Leaure? so it's not convincing if what I said just now really came out of my own mouth? I do care about other people .. but before that I care more about you!" said Cain.
"If another Leaure hears you, it will surely be very dumbfounded." said Felix.
"I don't really want to be constrained by a thing. Just because I'm Leaure, doesn't mean I shouldn't be selfish and have to continue to attach importance to the interests of the crowd!" said Cain.
"Just because you're Alvauden, doesn't mean you have to keep me concerned!" felix.
Cain let out a long sigh, "I don't want to be bound by the titles of Alvauden and Leaure. All I'm concerned about is that I can't see you suffering like this .. To be honest if I may choose I want you to leave the title of Caelvita and become a normal human being!"
"I know you're thinking the same thing as me, right? wanting me to be a normal human being and live a normal life .." Cain said, making Felix shocked to think that Cain was reading his mind.
"I'm starting to let go of that! I can't be selfish forever! I've started to accept that you're Leaure and Alvauden. We both bear a great responsibility ... we can't stay away forever right?!" felix.

As FCT3 heads to the dining room for breakfast before leaving for school, Daisy is seen sitting while typing on her laptop with her mouth-length bread slowly coming in and being spent.
"Mom!" greet Cain.
"Emm?" Daisy answered lazily.
"Mom!" this time it was Felix who raised his voice.
"Bikin' shocked! what's up?" said Daisy began to notice Felix and Cain coming to her desk.
"Can you ask for a list of names that follow the day's events?" ask Cain.
"When is your award given?" ask Daisy.
"Yes!" answer Felix.
"For what?" ask Daisy.
"Em ... to get to know the leader of our country better!" cain said.
"Well ... I'll ask for it!" said Daisy.
"Mother is the best!" Cain feeds the bread.
"But what's the news?" Cain curiously peeked at Daisy's laptop with a smile of his own but after a good read of the news content Cain immediately stopped smiling, "Evidence of embezzlement of state money was found by several political leaders who are still in the investigation stage!"
"What does that mean, come at the time of the event?" ask Felix.
Daisy nodded, though she did not say what the name meant. Felix had heard the dream of someone who really wanted a lot of money intended for the construction of public facilities.
"Is it because of the dream Ted gave me? to make someone blinded by money that is not his? but can it be called because of Ted? eliciting someone's pent-up desire to do evil ... can we blame Ted for that?" felix said in his heart.
