Ch.107 - Demon Society Castle
Felix and Cain arrive at the school on the last bus operating from Arbor Orphanage. School looks crowded compared to when the two of them were in training last week. There is so much security in keeping the school. Mr. Acton seemed to be talking to the security hired from the school.
"Sir Acton seemed very happy to have a friend .." said Cain.
"As long as it's just constantly guarding the gate!" felix.
Cain looks only to continue to look at Mr. Acton who is a big body compared to the security who stands talking in front of him, "But, anyway ... Mr. Acton is more terrifying! I mean it looks so reliable so ...."
"You're! quickly open the gate to Mundebris!" Felix is upset that Cain is busy talking about unimportant things.
"As much as possible, you must not use your power .. Just in case it fails, they should think it was not Caelvita who was involved in this Rescue mission ..." said Cain.
"Make it do its best! so that I don't need to help ..." said Felix who made Cain sigh long because he was not trusted.
"But where is Goldwin? daritadi I called him not to come too ..." said Cain.
"He'll come later!" felix.
Exiting the long hallway of the Leaure gate, Cain instantly made a protective line to avoid being seen.
"We've been here but didn't see anything!" said Cain.
"I probably wouldn't believe it if someone else told me but you said it yourself!" felix.
"When did I say?!" Cain was confused, "Ah .. am I from the future? but where? do we need to get into the castle looking .. but my hunch is not good ...."
"Not the time to be afraid because of premonition ..we have to save Gina!" felix.
"Then you stay here .. Let me come in!" said Cain.
"You want to act like a hero?!" felix.
"If anything happens to me you can come save me.." Cain smiled.
"You think you have two lives? huh huh?! you're like consumables! don't be brave ..." said Felix exasperatedly.
"Worn out?" Cain didn't have time to feel offended, "It's not brave but I trust you! isn't the main thing we're focused on saving Gina first?!" reply Cain.
"You know why you always lose when you play chess with me?!" felix said, "You just keep playing defensively and protecting your soldiers and are afraid to make them attack forward while I'm different. I'll keep attacking!" continued Felix.
"Not wrong! I'm just letting you win!" cain said he was trying to avoid Felix's accusations.
"A person's character can be judged by chess. And the one who wins is the one who is aggressive compared to you who is passive .." said Felix.
"Sorry yes but usually the aggressive in playing chess it is a young age whereas adults tend to be passive due to careful consideration before stepping!" cain said grinning.
"So what you're trying to say is that your mind is grown up and I'm still a child's mind, right?" Felix's pissed.
"I didn't say so ..." said Cain casually, "But I mean it is ...." Cain sticking out his tongue made Felix growl.
Felix held back his emotions not to return Cain's taunts because he was in enemy territory. Even jokes like that shouldn't be done but Cain often forgets in what situations and is indeed the type that likes to make someone blood up.
"But is that what you sprayed? vitamin fluids for trees? and why are we going around like this?" ask Cain who has a complaint.
And shortly after that all the trees that were sprayed earlier exploded into pieces. The tree that hid the castle was now only splintered and the demon assembly castle was very clearly visible. All the guards panic at the incident and begin to split up looking for the perpetrator but Felix and Cain casually just walk between them without being seen.
"Ow! so cool!" Cain hit Felix on the back, "I didn't know you'd learned how to make those explosive potions?!"
"You can be serious a little bit? we are in the enemy area and have not mastered martial arts and our strength is still below average .. we can die here!" felix said to Cain.
"Don't be too tense! just relax!" said Cain.
"What?!" Felix with an exasperated expression.
"If I don't feel scared at all .. I'm sure everything will be fine!" cain said with a big smile.
"When you're with Mertie you act like a reliable leader but with me you're such a bitch like you're out on an outing!" felix was upset.
"You sure about Felix?" ask Iriana.
"Why all of a sudden?" Felix was shocked because it had been a long time since Iriana had appeared to talk to him.
"Well, I'll believe you can do it but whatever happens .. when I tell you to run, you have to run! can you promise?" iriana.
"I can't! how can I promise something I can't be sure I can do .." said Felix.
"You're so stubborn!" iriana.
"Can't you pretend to call? you look like a crazy person talking to yourself!" cain said with an expression filled with contempt.
Felix and Cain climb over the fence and make it into the old castle grounds. There are many forms and forms of the face of the devil that roam. There's even something Felix and Cain don't know what they are.
The entrance was guarded by two large guards, "Pak Acton would be like a baby if he stood side by side with them!" felix said intentionally because Cain said that Pak Acton looks very big compared to the security team.
"Sir Acton is human! do not compare with those who are devils!" said Cain.
"How can we get inside? there's no way we're knocking on the door and we're welcome to come in for tea .." said Felix.
"It's your turn to joke? is it good to have me?!" decak upset Cain.
But the unexpected happened, there was a demon who opened the door from the inside to get out. Felix and Cain looked at each other and quickly ran inside before the door closed. Fortunately the demon was very tall so Felix and Cain freely ran between the two legs of the demon
Unlike what is seen from the outside, the castle is very narrow compared to the outside that looks very magnificent and is estimated to be very broad. But when inside there is only one room with stairs leading down and up.
"It's not an illumination, is it?" cain asked fearfully if they were now under the influence of the spell, "Heh! we go up the stairs? it's usually right to hold someone down in the basement?!" cain pointed at the stairs leading downstairs.
"See that!" Felix pointed to a trail left on the stairs leading to the floor leading to the top floor.
"Red Traces? doesn't that signify Sanguiber? I read it in the Sanguiber library!" said Cain.
"Yes! but humans also have the same color footprint as Sanguiber!" felix.
