The Queen Of Casino
Chapter 75: The Wedding

The wedding day that the two brides had hoped for finally arrived. Nicholas put his ego aside and re-approved the lightning love that occurred between Willams and Jessica. As a parent, he could only hope for the best rights for the princess. Hope their household story goes well like her and Jesslyn.

The door of the room opened, a man in a black suit walked into his daughter's room to pick up the bride. Two women in white clothes were plastered in front of him, so he stopped his steps for a moment, to enjoy the beauty of his two favorite angels.

"Daddy? Am I not beautiful?" jessica asked Nicholas.

Nicholas just replied with a smile. He stepped forward and stood right in front of the princess. "You're the lead today, honey. Daddy's not willing to give my beautiful daughter to another man."

"Am I old now, Nich? To the extent that I'll never praise you again." annoyed Jesslyn broke the novel at the time.

The family laughed cheerfully too. The event will begin soon and in a few moments Jessica will say a sacred promise.

Nicholas clasped his daughter's hand for a moment, staring at her own increasingly wrinkled skin with a feeling of remorse. "It turns out I'm old, indeed" he murmured lowered his head withstanding the warm liquid that had gathered in the eye sinks. He should not be sad on the happy day of the princess, but how else is it difficult to release his beloved daughter to the man he just met.

"Daddy." Jessica hugged her father tightly. The figure he would always make number one this lifetime no matter what. The first love that no one can replace, never betray, nor lie let alone pretend for every love that he gives. "Daddy will always be the best in my heart."

"Daddy knows it." For a moment they fell silent again, Nicholas stroked the face of his daughter who now gave thin makeup, but still exuded a natural beauty. "My daughter, after the sacred promise was made. You're gonna be a wife to the man you love. I let you go and let him take you wherever he wants. Out there, you're his wife. But, in this house, no matter what. You are still my favorite daughter. Whatever happens, the door of this house is always wide open for you."

Jessica nodded in understanding, again every word Nicholas spoke was sweeter than the honey he had just taken from his nest. "I love you, Dad."

"Daddy loves you too" said Nicholas hugging his daughter.

"Mommy loves you the same, son." Jesslyn hugged her husband and daughter who were in the mood.

The family, releasing each other for a moment. Until the host declares the start of the show, Nicholas also bends his hand half-circled as Jessica links the handle. "Let's meet the man of your choice!"

Jessica stood up from her position, carrying another hand of flowers than usual. It is not just made of fresh flowers such as roses, peonies, tulips, or other types of flowers that symbolize the romance of a wedding, but also the, rather it is made of gambling cards in the form of flowers in such a way and studded with diamonds on it.

Nicholas and Jessica started to step up. Where at the end of the white carpet was, a man was already standing nervously. Seconds by seconds is stressful, once in a lifetime, and unforgettable for everyone who witnesses.

The music of shahdu seemed inaudible to Nicholas' ears. It was as if there was only him and the princess walking towards a bridge connecting the wedding rope. Will the man in front really take care of his daughter? Only the best prayer Nicholas could offer for both.

Willams reached out as Nicholas and Jessica stopped. Nicholas' old hand handed his daughter's palm to the figure of the young man before them. "I've left my daughter to you, for the rest of your life."

"Thank you for trusting me, Dad. I'll take care of him, just like you. I won't let him get hurt, even if it's just cutting his nails."

William's answer grew a smile on Nicholas' face. He let go of the princess' hand and stepped back to sit with his wife. "You've done your best, honey."

Two people faced each other, as the main cast of the day's show. Invitational guests who are none other than family members, become witnesses where a pair of men and women will say a sacred promise.

A priest among the two stood up to guide them to promise in the name of the Lord.

"Yes, I."

"Will you accept the woman before you right now, Jessica Light as your wife?" said the priest.

William looked straight at the two women's eyes in front of him. "I am William Scorpion, willing to be as sincere as heart without coercion, let alone a bet, take thee Jessica Light, be my wife. To have each other and also keep from now until forever. In times of trouble and pleasure, in times of abundance and lack, and in times of health and illness. To always love and cherish one another, until death do us part, in accordance with the law of God and this is my sincere faithful promise. With everything I have as his guarantee."

"Jessica Light" said the Reverend next.

"Yes, I."

"Will you accept the man before you, William Scorpion as your husband?"

"I am Jessica Light willing to take you William Scorpion, to be my husband, to have each other and also to keep from now on forever. In times of trouble and pleasure, in times of abundance and lack, and in times of health and illness. To always love and cherish one another, until death do us part, according to the law of God, and this is my sincere pledge of faithfulness. With all your property as his guarantee."

Jessica ended her vows with a beautiful smile on her beautiful face. Meanwhile, the priest was dumbfounded by the closing sentence and some of the guests suddenly held back a laugh. However, the husband nodded at what Jessica told the priest.

The priest took a breath. "In front of God and the witnesses of the day I declare you William Scorpion and Jessica Light are officially a married couple."

William pinned a beautiful diamond ring on the ring finger of Jessica's right hand, looking so harmonious with her white skin. Objects that for several years were no master because of the loss of Jessica's soul. Now back to the real owner.

Similarly, Jessica, she pinned a ring on the ring finger of William's right hand. However, it is not derived from gold or diamonds, but rather a material used as a maker of gambling coins. What a significant difference in ring material.

No problem with what the wife gave me. William kissed his wife for the first time. The two couples with the flower bushes flying drowned each other in pangutan. Let go of all the feelings that have been hidden.

Clapping and whistling began to fill the crowd. Coupled with a wedding song that enlivened. Both of Jessica's parents shed tears, seeing their beloved daughter has officially the status of a wife at this time.

Is marriage always the end of a story? I don't know, they will just live the household ark, but the author heartily decided to highlight the story.
